This (very bad) poem was a gift for my mate i wrote a long time ago or our
anniversary.
I love you! It's more than a phrase. It's a way of telling you how much you mean to me.
Ek is lief vir jou! It's more than a group of words. It's me wanting to spend the rest of my life next to you.
Te dua! It's a feeling so deep it feels like it has no end. It's my desire to grow old next to you.
Je t'aime! It's my heart opening to you forever. It's my soul reaching out for yours.
Te amo! It means I'll always let you choose your side of the bed. It means I'll always let you hold the remote control.
Mai tumase pyar It means a single smile from you will brighten my day like a sun. It means a touch from you will make all things right.
Iniibig kita! It's me offering all I am to you It's you accepting me with my faults.
Aloha wau ia 'oe! It's me standing always by your side. It's you holding my hand through life.
Saya cinta padamu! It's us staring together into the sun as it sets. It's us watching the full moon under the starred sky.
Kimi o ai shiteru! They are words and yet I have never felt this way before saying them. They are words, pronounce by my mouth but formed deep in my heart.
Volim te! It's the gentle breeze of the sea washing over our faces. It's the warmth of the sun in a cold morning.
Saya cintamu! It's your eyes looking into mine. It's my arms around your back.
Nakupenda! It's what I do when I comfort you after a hard day at work. It's what you do when you ask me how my day was.
Ngiyakuthanda! It's me writing the first poem of my life. It's you and what you're feeling right now.
I love you! I could say it everyday of my life. I can't wait to say it in person.
