Storm had arrived at the cave where his mate was. He gave the food to her and said, "Please forgive me, there was almost nothing to eat, all I found was this." Star looked to him, raised her ears, and said, "Oh it's alright, my love. As long as you are safe, and return. Even without food." Storm walked closer to where Star was lying, and he lyed down, too. He was looking to her stomach when he asked, "Dear, how have you been feeling? Is the pup hurting you? Will he come out soon?" Star replied, "Yes, I'm fine Storm. The pup is rather calm, and I do not know about the last one. I guess we will just see."
Not much later, they were both asleep. A few hours in, Star awoke. She stood up and walked to the back of the cave. She couldn't belive it, she was giving birth, at night, as her mate was asleep! In pain, she had pushed, and slowly the pup was out. Storm finally woke, and quickly looked for Star. He saw her in the back, and ran to her. And on her paws, was a cream colored pup, it surprisingly had fur already. Storm looked at the pup and let a tear fall. Star looked to Storm's face full of tears of joy, and smiled.
