I Don't Fear Death, I'm With Her
#1 of Experiments
The story is a work of fiction and not meant to offend or to suggest to anything or anyone in REAL life. If your name happenes to be placed here, that is only by coincidence. The plot is of my ownership and if the idea came from others, I'll say sorry to whoever that is.
This story is an experiment, which I do not know if it will continue. If ever there was, I might not do it since this is just my brain suggesting something that I have no interest on.
I Don't Fear Death, I'm Wth Her
I don't know how it happened; I don't even remember why it had happened. All I know, I'm sitting on this bench all to myself as I continue to watch and stare at my side. The weird part is, I'm talking in this dark night. I'm an average human, yes human, in a coexisting world of Human and Furries. History may tell the story but I know some secrets are meant to be kept. Anyway, I'm one keen on drinking since the taste of booze get so much better for my mind. The only thing special about me was that I am aware to whatever happened to me when I'm drunk.
I guess it was my special ability, a guy who is still aware when he's drunk. This just made me wonder what I was doing talking to no one beside me. I guess, my ability is somewhat half-good, I never understood what I saw or do while drunk but I was talking to an empty space beside me. This night just made me wonder what has happened or even why it happened. I guess it was just another day.
I just realized these events when I woke up on my bed as I look back into my memories of last night. The idea that I talked to an empty bench made me think I was crazy, maybe my drunken mind thought of something, seeing someone or something on the bench. I just shook it as I rush to my bathroom, looking at the mirror. There I saw myself, the black hair, the brown eyes and my average 5 foot 5 height... just another average human. I splash some water at my face as I look back and washing it, waking me further.
"What a night I've gone through..." I said as I continue to look back and look back I did. "I just need some time... maybe a day to think about it." I said to myself once again as I lean on the sink, as I just breathe a worried sign until a faint but soft voice started to speak as if it was a small item trying to talk to me. "More like a week, stud." I flinched as I wide eyed look at the mirror.
I shook my head as I once again splash some water at my face. "What am I thinking...?" I said sadly as I kept my things back to myself. I just took some cloths out of my closet as I wore them over my nude form. (I got to work for a bit, need to get drunk again...) I thought to myself as I look at the clock. "I'm going to be late for work!" I said forgetting my breakfast as I move down the stairs of the apartment building and out to the streets.
I minded my own business and all there ever was at my work. I ignored whatever my co-workers said but I did agree to go for a round of drinks again tonight. (Maybe, I'll find out something.) I thought to myself as I try and finish my work.

There I was as I sat myself at the bench, pondered about the events, the same bench where I was last night and the one I used waiting for the bus to arrive. The drinking was somehow halted when my buddies didn't show up. "I was stood up." I said as I just slump on the bench not minding my posture. "What I'd give to know what to do now." I said as I just closed my eyes trying to forget the whole thing last night and even tonight.
"How awful, do you need me tonight as well?" said the same small voice that I heard this morning but I did not question it as I was in a terribly bad mood. "Well life sure does make a lot of obstacles for one living being." I replied to the voice. "No kidding, she likes to make people do everything in their power to achieve their goals." The small voice replied to me. "What do you know of life?" I suddenly asked as I fixed my posture and opened my eyes to my side finding not a person but a very sharp and threatening giant blade. I flinched and moved back as I saw its long blade connected to a longer black stick, it was a scythe. It was July, and it sure wasn't Halloween. I was frightened but words did not escape my mouth as I felt my throat somewhat parched and dry from the sight of a real menacing scythe. There I finally got a good look at its holder, and I just froze in horror.
There holding the scythe with one skeletal hand on the middle of the handle was a hooded form. I dread and I did not want to see the face behind the dark endless space of darkness. I just stare and my body wasn't in the mood to do anything as fear and horror surround my very mind as I cannot fathom what this means. The night soon went silent, the wind stopped blowing, and the atmosphere gone cold and somehow time stopped right in front of me.
We were there, in this time of silence. To extend my horror the hooded form turns its head towards me. I flinched and I look away, eyes shut close not wanting to see death as I brace for myself. There I waited and waited, bracing me, my muscles tensing and my eyelids shut so tight. I was not going to like this and I waited once more.
I was a statue, a very scared statue as I waited but the next sound I heard was that totally not what a blade cutting through flesh was. I heard a giggle, a very soft and feminine giggle. With that ringing in my ears, my eyes shot wide open. (I've been tricked!) I thought as I rose, forgetting my fear and my current horror moment as I look at the figure on the bench. "YOU! Is this a joke?!" I shouted some as I stare down at the form on the bench.
With eyes ready to pierce and flames painted on them I look at her. "I'm sure enjoying this." She said quite softly as she looks up at me. Though, I wanted to tell her my piece of mind, what I saw in her stunned me, and my spine shivered stiff with chills. My jaw was agape as I shivered, not understanding what this woman was.
The little woman had a face of a feline, fur and features still intact. Her fur was a few shades of gray and black, as if changing the felines color scheme into a monochromatic feature. I suspect she was an ocelot as she had a small frame, smaller than I and her face quite soft. Unfortunately, the only thing that had made me stare was her eyes. Though it sounded like I fell for her lovely eyes, I meant looked in fear.
There, on her eyes was nothing, nothing! It was as empty as the darkness, the void and any other word that could describe endless black. Nothing was on her eyes. I stare as she smiled and giggled at me. She raised her other skeletal paw as she covered her lips, giggling at me. "Hello again, Matthew Oliver Fall." She greeted as she continues to smile, regardless that she had no eyes but her brow moved nonetheless. I just stare continuously at her; I could not believe that she was greeting me.
She soon placed her scythe on her other paw and laid it down on her lap, the blade away from the spot that I sat on a few second ago. She tapped the seat, as she continues to smile at me. Without another word, I walked and seated myself, seeing the feline just smile endlessly at me. Though I felt so awkward with her and the whole thing, I wanted to ask, "Are you, who I think, you are?" I asked, shakily in my voice. She just smiles and "Looks" on. She nodded her head some as she continues to smile.
My heart sank, not in heartbroken but in dread and fear. I just look down at the ground, the cement sidewalk not making the moment any better. "Is it my time?" I asked with a hint of detest as I look on. Though I was expecting her to say something else, she surprised me once again by laughing full heartedly. This just made the moment more unfamiliar as I stare at her hysterical laughing. But she quickly dismissed her laughing fit and just look at me. "My, I guess you were much too drunk than I thought, last night." She explained as she smiled, showing her teeth as she licks her lips more. I flinch and somehow I knew what she meant, she was the reason I was answering to an empty space that night.
"You mean I was?" I asked as she finished it for me, "talking to me, while you were drunk and ended up with you." She said as she extends a boney paw at my cheek, clearly trying to caress my face. As the bones move and touched my skin, it felt so smooth, soft even but cold. I frown some as I look at her continue to caress me. I was glued to the bench as if I have done this with her.
"You don't remember?" She asked a hint of sadness as she frowned sadly. "Not really, it's just that, when I'm drunk, I'm also aware what I've been doing, but I don't see what my drunken self sees, hears, or feels." I admitted as I took hold of the paw, feeling it quite solid and aligned, regardless that I took hold. "I see, and I suppose you saw yourself talking to this empty bench?" She speculated as she looks on. "Yeah..." I trailed as I scratch the back of my head as I look away, her paw still in my hand.
"I didn't know what happened after the whole bench talking and soon it went black there." I said as I look back at her only to find myself surprised and shocked as she leaned up at me. She kissed me, her cold but soft lips press against my warmer pair as we kissed, her paw in my hand and her other, completely away from her scythe, held on to my shoulder as we kissed. This kiss, though it felt so right, was not what I had in mind but she did want this as her kiss tried to stay as long as she wished.
She was savoring it, and so did I, I smelled her cold and sweet fragrance; she was fresh and as cold as ice. I could also taste her breath; it was a chilling but very exotic taste. I couldn't tell what it was; it was like tasting a frozen cake that had cherry toppings and vanilla frosting. It was beyond what I was expecting as we finished the kiss. I felt out of breath and so did she as we look at one another, quite an experience for me as we look deeply, especially me and those empty sockets.
"So, what did I do to you that night?" I asked, my eyes quite dreamy and disbelieving this idea. "You brought me to your apartment and we did some things." She said, hinting more some things at me as she smiles quite lustfully. "So, I'm not dead yet?" I asked once again as she takes hold of her scythe and stood up, a paw at me as she gesture me. "You aren't supposed to die anywhere close to today." She explained as I took her boney paw and we stood, I look down at her, a smile creeping in, feeling my body relax some as I look at the scythe wielding ocelot.
"Are you sure? Cause right now, I'm beside a very special angel." I flirted as her as she giggles and looked away from me for a sec as she led pulled me, she was leading the way. "Well, aren't you glad that you're dating a woman?" She asked at me as we walked the way to my apartment building. "Well, I seem to lose my fear of death, maybe because I'm dating her right now." I added as we shared ourselves some laughs. "I never knew your name?" I suddenly said as she looks back. "Elizabeth" She said as we walked this chilling night, in warmth of our hearts I could tell. She still had some life in her, practically dragging me with her excitement.
"I'm sure that we'll get to know one another much better than last night." She smiled and seductively said as we continue to walk. "I know..." I said as I smiled about this oddly and supernatural event. How will I tell my friends about this?
