The Woodland Visitor Pt 6

Shadows moved through the small stand of trees. Each one swiftly and silently sliding from tree to tree only to crouch down and wait for the next shadow to move forward. A human and a fox both crouched down beside a chain link fence, searching the grounds inside. When they were sure it was clear the human made a gesture with his hand and two more shadows detached themselves from the trees and came forward.

A female wolf came up and turned her back to her partner who removed a pair of wire cutters. With a final check around and a nod from the leader the second human began to cut a hole in the fence large enough for them to enter.

"Security around here is Mickey Mouse at best," said the first human.

"I see, I would have at least a ten meter area on either side of the fence that would be bare," said the second human.

"I would go with about twenty and have the patrols walking the fence line."

By that time the fence had a large hole cut in it and they again scanned the grounds. The second human and his partner moved over and drawing their weapons began actively searching the grounds while two more shadows detached themselves from the trees. This pair came up to the fence and immediately crawled through.

When they were inside they took up positions five meters out and to either side of the opening. They took over the scanning of the grounds while the rest of the team entered. When everyone was inside they moved over to a stand of trees that sat inside the perimeter and waited.

"The first patrol should be rounding the corner in five... four... three... two... one... now." And right on cue a very heavily armed guard walking a guard dog rounded the corner. The first pair took up spots where they could get clear shots. "Wait for it... wait for it... now."

Two barely audible pops could be heard by the party as the guard and his dog went down. A second later a wolf and a tiger were racing across the lawn. They grabbed the two bodies and carried them back to the hole in the fence. Stuffing them through, they followed them and hid them in the trees. Once done they came back to the others and sat down waiting.

The process was repeated twice more before the party again moved. The only thing anyone would see if they were looking was green dots moving across the lawn. They all gathered around the corner of the building while a human female lay down on the grass and pulled out a small mirror with a handle. She extended this out around the corner and after a few seconds said, "I got it. First team ready... And go."

Two shadows ran around the corner, and keeping close to the wall made it down to a doorway. The alcove was deep so they had no problem squeezing in. "Were in place." The voice said in their ear.

"Ok, its swinging back," said the female. "Get ready to move, and... go." The two shadows left the doorway and continued down to a point right below the camera.

"We're there, get the next team ready." The female moved back and stood up. She looked over to the tiger beside her and smiled. Then we heard the leader, "Go now." They took off around the corner and made their way down to the doorway sliding out of the view of the camera. Then when it was clear they made their way to the first two.

"Team three ready."

Again the leader called out for them to go. The third pair took off around the corner and into the doorway the second team just left then continued on.

It happened again and again until all ten shadows were under the camera. While everyone turned and scanned the grounds, one figure could be seen working at the door. In less than a minute he had the door open and the first pair entered.

When it was all clear the rest entered with the last person closing the door behind him. Steve turned back to the group. "If Diane's calculations are right, the stairs are this way."

We traveled down the hall and were just about to turn the final corner when Duvole stopped us. Holding his fingers up to indicate silence he listened. Then he indicated three people down the hall. Steve motioned for Josh to step forward and just before he moved I held up my hand.

"I'll do it."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I am."

"Then we'll wait right here for you."

"I'm going with you." Tamane said.

"No, you'll wait right here. I have to do this alone."

"But..." She never finished what she was going to say. The look in my eyes when I turned to face them was enough to stop any further communications.

I walked out around the corner and down the hall. Looking down I saw three people sitting around a desk they were too busy talking to each other to notice me until it was too late. Drawing the forty-four I held it up, aiming it at the head of the largest guy there. They looked terrified as they watched me. I reached up and turned off the mic and then slowly I walked around the desk.

"I have a few questions to ask. For every wrong answer, one of you dies. After three strikes... you're out. Now where is the lab?"

"South end of this hall room one thirty-six."

"No, where is the entrance to the downstairs lab?"

"We don't have a downstairs lab."

A faint pop rang down the hall to the rest of the assault team as I turned to the group. "Where is the entrance to the downstairs lab?"

"At the end of the hall, room one ninety-six."

"Where are they holding Sienna?"

"Who's Sienna?"

"The deer that was brought in four days ago."

"In the examination tank. She's probably dead by now. Follow the main hall down and it's the last door on the left."

"How many people are down there right now?"

"About six."

"How many are guards?"

"Four."

"Good, now one final question. Do you fear death?"

The assault team heard two more pops before my voice came over the headsets. "Its all clear, come on down."

I waited for them at the end of the hall. When Steve came up to me he gripped my shoulder and asked, "Where are they?"

I stared him right in the face and replied, "they won't bother us, but we have to hurry. Sienna's life may depend on it."

He didn't question me any further but followed me down the hall to room one ninety-six. I grabbed the door handle and found the room locked. Taking two steps back I kicked and watched as the door flew open. Josh and Xelinia entered the room and cleared it as I entered behind them.

We searched the room but could find no entrance to the lab. I walked over to a bookshelf and stood there studying it. This had to be the way in but how. I scanned the rows of books and figured that one of these had to be the trigger, but which one. I didn't want to start yanking the books off the shelf. That would make too much noise (Yea, I just kicked in the door...so what), besides I didn't know if any of them was booby trapped or not. I began reading the titles one by one. Physics, Chemistry, Human Biology, Advanced Chemistry, Animal Anatomy, Chemical Composition, DNA Decoding. My eyes flashed back to one book in particular. If they did genetic research into human diseases, why did they need a book about animal anatomy? ,

I reached up and pulled the book off the shelf and found that it only rocked forward. Silently the bookshelf slid sideways and revealed a hallway leading down. Looking back at the others I raised my rifle and started on down.

At the end of the ramp the corridor split off. Steve, Ronshia, Duvole and Diane took the right hall, Clair, Kolane, Xelinia and Josh took the left. That left myself and Tamanae to go down the center hall, which is where I wanted to be in the first place.

We moved down the hall ignoring the rooms in the beginning when Tamanae suddenly spoke up. "Shouldn't we clear all the rooms?"

I quickly held up my hand to silence her then, while I motioned further down the hall I said, "We are, but I am trying to get behind the door." Then I looked at her and mouthed that Sienna was down further. She understood immediately and nodded.

We continued down till the solid wall ended and a glass wall began. Cautiously looking in I saw a large glass room with furniture inside. The room looked empty except for two beds, that had lumps on them. Looking around the room I only saw two people there. They were staring at a computer bank and taking notes.

I backed up and switching off our mic's said, "There are two people in the room. I can't see if Sienna's there but they have an observation tank in there and it looks like two forms sleeping inside."

"Can we get in there?"

"I'll use a grenade if I have to. Getting in is no problem. I just want to make sure it's her before we make too much noise. Let's move to the door and see from there."

"OK."

We slowly made our way down to the door. I kept my eyes on the two people while Tamanae watched the hall. By the time we reached the door I could see that whoever was in one of the beds had brown hair or fur, I couldn't tell the difference from here. Looking down I could see an electronic keypad. One of those where it could be anywhere from a two digit to a ten digit combo to open the door. I shook my head and grabbing the rifle I pumped a couple of rounds into the glass, then covering my face I jumped through it feeling it shatter around me.

The scientists looked up as I entered but stopped short when they saw Tamanae standing there with her rifle up. I walked over to the room and looked inside. Two figures were there, one was Sienna and the other was a grey horse with a black mane. The two scientists were between me and the console so when I went over to the console I walked carefully around them.

I picked up the clipboard and began reading. I only got to the first line which read, 'Cross Genetic Experiment #3494'. Throwing the clipboard down, I walked over and grabbed one of the scientists by the collar and brought her to within an inch of my face.

"What the fuck is going on here?"

"N... n... nothing."

I released her and looking down, shook my head. Suddenly I jumped up and kicked the other scientist in the chest as hard as I could. The pistol went flying out of his hands and he went flying back through the wall of the tank landing in a heap and sliding several feet. I walked through the hole and over to Sienna's bed.

I leaned down and gently shook Sienna. She moaned and then slowly opened her eyes. They were so glazed over I could tell that she was heavily sedated. I bent down and gently picking her up, I held her to me.

The horse sat up, "What the fuck you gonna do with her? Haven't you done enough already?"

I slowly turned to the horse and said, "I'm getting her the fuck out of here. Unless you enjoy being a pin cushion for these fucking assholes, I suggest that you get your fucking ass up and follow me." Then I turned and carried her out through the hole.

I walked over to Tamanae and held Sienna out. "Hold her for one second." Then I turned back to the other scientist. Grabbing her by the collar I pulled her close to me. "You are so lucky that all my life I've been taught not to hit a woman." I let her go and turned back to the horse that was just emerging from the tank.

I heard Tamanae and the horse at the same time yell look out. I jumped up and kicked back at the scientist and heard her sail through the glass into the hallway. When I looked up I saw she went through the hallway and through the glass into the room across the hall. In the hallway I saw a pistol lying on the ground. "Then again, in your case I'll make an exception." Turning I went over and took Sienna in my arms then looked back to the horse. "Can you make it on your own or do you need help?"

"I can make it, just lead the way."

"Tom, what's happening?"

Switching my mic back on, I replied. "I got the package Steve, you find anything?"

"Negative, this section's clear. Josh, you find anything?"

"That's an affirmative. I have one female equine, pretty drugged up."

"Let's get out of here then. I need to check a couple of doors then I'm clear."

"We're on our way."

We moved out of the lab and into the hall. I looked into the tank across the hall and didn't see anyone. About that time Steve rounded the corner. Seeing us he raced down and stopped short when he saw the horse.

"Check out that tank and make sure it's clear."

"What have you checked?"

I nodded behind me, "Just this room."

"Go on, we'll check the rest. Wait for us at the end."

I led the way with Tamanae and the horse right behind me. When we reached the exit, Josh and the others were already there. I saw that Josh and Kolane had a female horse supported between them.

"Syl?" the male horse ran over to her and hugged her. I saw that she was alert enough to react and slowly hugged him back. "I thought I lost you."

"Dal, I thought you were dead too."

I sat down in the hall and held Sienna close to me. I watched as she opened her eyes and looked up at me. It took her a minute but she smiled. "I knew you would come for me."

The male horse came over to me and looked down. "You're Tom?"

I just nodded and watched as Sienna curled up against me and wrapping her hands into my shirt she drifted off to sleep again.

"Sienna told me about you, she said that you would be coming to get her. I wish I would have believed her." He squatted down and held his hand out to me. "My name is Dal, and this is Syl. We owe you a debt."

"You can repay him later," Steve said as he came up to us. "Right now we have to get out of here."

"I believe that we can do more damage than we thought." Josh said coming up. "In the first room there are a couple of liquid oxygen tanks. If we pack the explosives around them, it should just about level the place."

Steve helped me out of my pack and handed it to Josh, then removed his pack and did the same. I jumped a little when Diane knelt down beside me. "Sorry, I want to check her out a bit."

I watched as Diane looked Sienna over and walked over to Steve. I bowed my head and smiled because even though they talked quietly and away from me. They forgot to turn their microphones off, so I heard every word they said.

"How is she?"

"It's too early to tell, but it doesn't look good. They drugged her up so much I can't tell if she's hurt. I need to know what they used on her to try to counter act it before it does some permanent damage."

"Why would they do this?"

"I don't know."

"Alright, take Duvole and head down there. I saw some papers on the desk and a clipboard lying on the floor. See what you can find out." Steve looked at his watch, "You have five minutes. It's the last door on the left."

When Diane turned to go, I stopped her. As she bent down all I said was, "thank you."

"For what?"

I had already bent my head down, and placing it next to Sienna's, just sat there. Moving my mouth over by her ear I softly began talking to her. "You'll be alright. I'm gonna get you home and take care of you. You'll be alright in no time." I felt her hand tighten on my shirt and saw her ear twitch in response. "Just rest now, rest easy, I have you now. You're safe."

Diane came running down the hall and dropped right next to us. "This will help some." I watched her pull out a syringe and fill it with a thick yellow liquid. "Hold her tight, this may sting a little.

"I gripped her tighter and began talking in her ear. "It's alright, Diane needs to give you something to try and help you. It may burn a bit but it won't hurt you. Just relax I have you now and I'm not gonna let you go."

"There it's done. We can only wait and see." She picked up the clipboard and walked over to Steve.

Again I could here every word they said. "I don't know if she'll make it. If she was a human, she would be dead. The amount they gave her is more than enough to kill us. Their body chemistry must be extraordinary for her to still be alive. Still I won't hold any hopes as to how long it will take for her to recover. That is if she recovers."

"Does he know?"

"I didn't have the heart to tell him."

"I'll tell him after we're out of here."

"I just hope that I'm wrong."

"You rarely are."

"I hope to god that I am this time."

Steve turned and walked over to me. Placing his hand on my shoulder I looked up. "We need to go."

Carefully I stood up and with Sienna in my arms I nodded to him and watched as he turned and left. I followed Diane up the corridor and we made good progress until we hit the main hall.

There were three armed guards standing there waiting for us. They forced us back into the room, and had us pinned down. While the rest of the team engaged them I just stared down at Sienna. By this time her eyes were open and she was looking back at me. I watched as her eyes slowly shut and her head fell to the side. Diane began to frantically check her out. Ignoring Diane, I turned and handed her limp body to Dal who just stared at me.

I drew forth the rifle and walked over to the door. I grabbed Josh from behind and threw him aside. Stepping out into the hall I opened up on the guards. I felt myself get hit several times in the chest and once on the leg. Switching over, I pumped three Smart grenades down the hall then reached down and grabbed the forty-four.

Those mother fuckers took the only thing that mattered to me. I wasn't going to let them get away with that. One guard stuck his head around the corner and two rounds later I painted the wall behind him a new shade of red.

The whole time I kept on walking towards them. The second guard left part of his foot exposed around the corner. I fired one round into it and watched him fall. Then I fired two rounds into his head finishing him off.

Reaching the end of the hall I saw the last guard running for the exit. Raising the pistol I watched as the first of ten rounds slammed him into the wall beside the door. When the last round was fired I watched as his body slowly slid to the floor. Dropping the clip I put a new one in.

I heard footsteps coming down the hall and Saw Steve carrying Sienna's limp body. A fire like none I ever knew consumed me. I couldn't think, I couldn't see anything but Sienna's head lying there limply.

I turned and walked to the door. Before I reached it I felt someone trying to stop me. I shook their hand off and continued on. Two shots later and the plate glass window beside the door shattered. I walked through the opening and out to the main walkway. Again I felt the impact of several rounds on my chest. It was getting harder to breathe. I raised the pistol and returned fire. Two more guards went down.

I walked around the building and made my way down to the fence where we entered. Steve was there already and I watched them pass Sienna's body through the hole. We followed and made our way down to the van.

I watched as Steve dialed a number into the cell phone then turn to me. "Are you sure you want to do this? There is a lot of research there that will be wasted." For an answer I just reached over and hit send.

A minute later I directed Josh down a fire lane that connected the two major highways. Looking back I saw the last traces of a fireball disappear into the night sky and flames reaching higher and higher. I turned and walked back to Sienna. They had her laying on one of the shelves of the van and Diane was looking her over and at the same time she was on a cell phone with someone.

My hand reached out and gently caressed the side of her face. I heard Diane say something to me but the words went unheard. All I could see was Sienna just lying there.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned. "Tom, we need your help."

I bent down and kissed her on the forehead and turned to follow Steve.

"I'm gonna have Josh drive this van down and have you follow." I listened as Steve explained what he was gonna do. Looking back I noticed that the van was empty. I didn't even know we stopped. Stepping out of the van I walked over to the other one. I knew driving cars on the local dirt track would pay off some day.

I put the van in gear and followed Josh down the road. Soon we were traveling at sixty miles an hour when I pulled up beside him.

"Forward a little bit." Steve called out through the radios. "That's it now right... a little more... more... just a bit more... there, hold it steady."

I stole a quick glance and saw Steve grab Joshes hand as he jumped between the vehicles. When he was inside I immediately began slowing down. By the time I was down to thirty five, the other van suddenly swerved and began to roll. I stopped as the van did one final flip and wrapped itself around a tree. Turning the van I headed back to my house.

I pulled into the driveway, shut the van down and opened the garage door. It didn't register to me as I watched them carrying Sienna through the house on a stretcher. I followed them out into the back yard and saw a helicopter sitting there. It was one of those that had no body, just a cockpit and legs. I think it was called a Sky crane but I didn't remember. Underneath it was a large box that sat open.

Light poured out from inside. I could hear a generator running quietly somewhere and saw a man come running out. I saw the surprise on his face when he looked at the stretcher then he began giving orders.

I stopped at the door and looked inside. What I saw shocked me completely. But before I could even complete my thoughts, my legs gave out and I slipped into blackness.

I could feel myself moving. I was floating on a black river, and saw someone ahead. They kept calling my name, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't reach them. The harder I swam, the further away they got. I knew I had to catch them soon but I couldn't. I swam as fast as I could but couldn't reach them. A new sound suddenly came to my ears and I could see a waterfall coming up. I renewed my efforts to reach them but couldn't do it. I watched as they were swept over the falls. Then I felt myself being pulled over.

I was falling into blackness, and just kept falling. I could hear voices all around me. It was a minute before I could understand what they were saying, but even then it just confused me.

"There is enough of it in her system to kill us but she didn't respond."

"There has to be something you missed."

"I looked the notes over carefully, that's all I could find."

"There has to be something."

"I don't know what."

"Here, this is what you missed. When these two are mixed together in the blood, you need to adjust your treatment. What you gave her adversely counteracted with it. In order to neutralize it you have to..."

I slipped deeper into blackness. I don't know how long but I again heard voices. They sounded so familiar, yet I couldn't put faces to them.

"We were out playing football when he went for a pass that was overthrown. He jumped and when he came down there was an iron bar sticking up and it caught him in the leg. I didn't know where the hospital was and being I'm military I called our doctor to look at him. He lost a lot of blood before he could get treated."

"Will he be alright?"

"The doctor says he's fine. Just needs some rest and he'll be as good as new soon."

"Won't loose the leg will he?"

"No, he'll only have a small scar where the bar went through, but he'll have full use of it."

"Where's this bar at, I want to make sure no one else gets hurt."

"We already removed it. We thought the same thing and figured he might want a souvenir of the game."

"That went into his leg."

"Yes, and right out the other side."

"Ouch."

"Yea, ouch."

"Are you going to stick around, or do you want me to send someone over to watch him?"

"We actually just started a month long leave, and we were going to spend it here at his invitation. I think we can manage."

"If you need anything, call this number. It's my private cell phone number. I'll make sure you get it..."

Again I slipped into blackness and felt myself floating. I called out but nobody answered. I couldn't see anything. I couldn't hear anyone. I was alone in this darkness.

I thought about Sienna. What was I gonna do now that she was gone. She was the reason I wanted to live. Now that reason was taken away from me. What did I have to live for now. I was about to let the blackness envelope me and take me when I felt this shaking.

"Tom... Tom... can you hear me?"

My eyes slowly opened and I saw Tamanae standing over me.

"Tom, can you hear me."

I let out a groan, "What happened?"

"You don't remember?"

"The last thing I remember was seeing Sienna..." Tears rolled down my face. I couldn't say it. I couldn't say, 'seeing Sienna dead'.

I heard movement by the door and realized I was in my room.

"How is he?"

Tamanae turned, "He just woke up."

"Hey man, how you feeling?" Steve asked.

"Like shit."

"Understandable, but right now we need your help. I hate to do this when you should be resting but you need to get up. Doc Travis wants to see you immediately."

I braced myself and slowly sat up. Tamanae jumped over and helped me. When I was sitting up I saw a bandage around my leg. Steve stood on one side while Tamanae stood on the other. With my arm around each shoulder they helped me stand.

Soon they were leading me downstairs where I saw the rest of his team lounging around. They came up to me and congratulated me saying things like good job and excellent work.

How could they be happy, Sienna was gone. The whole reason for the assault was to rescue her and I failed. I failed her. I just dropped my head and let them take me outside and down to a helicopter which sat in the back yard.

What was a helicopter doing here?

A man was waiting outside and came up to me. "I see our hero is finally awake. How do you feel?"

"Like my life had just been ripped away from me."

"Well this should help a bit." And he turned and led me into the box attached to the bottom of the Helicopter. When I got inside I heard someone struggling behind the curtain. The doctor pulled back the curtain and the first thing I saw was a hospital room. Tied to a table was a female deer, and she was struggling to get free. It took a second for my brain to register. Then breaking free of my supporters I tried to run to her. If it wasn't for Steve grabbing me, I would have fallen. He led me over to the table and as I looked down, all I could say was, "Oh my god."

"Tom? What happening?" she asked when she saw me.

The man walked over to us. "I'm sorry but I needed to restrain you. You were thrashing around so much I was afraid you would hurt yourself."

I reached down and removed the restraint that held one of her hands and then hugged her. "Oh my god, you're alive. I thought you were dead."

"Not remember. Remember you there" She said softly as she hugged me back. I felt her other arm wrap around me and realized that someone must have released it. I didn't care I just held her tighter.

"I thought you were dead."

"Better now, see you."

I drew back and just looked at her for a few seconds. Then leaning forward, I kissed her. Drawing her to me again I held her tight.

I felt a chair being pushed up behind me and I sat down. I gripped her hands and just held onto them. I watched her head turn a bit and looked over my shoulder.

"How are you?" I watched Sienna make a couple of gestures to Tamanae. "I'm so glad. You had us scared for a minute there." Sienna gestured again. "Yes I did help, but it was Tom who is the real hero." Sienna made another gesture. "You're welcome."

The man who greeted me walked up. "Alright, I want everyone out. She needs to rest." I looked at Sienna and saw the fear in her eyes. He placed his hand on my shoulder when I was going to stand up. "Except you, since she doesn't trust anyone else. I want you to stay here and keep her calm."

I nodded and watched as Sienna's face relaxed. When everyone else was gone he pulled up a chair and sat down.

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Major Denton. I work closely with Captain Granid and his team. And you must be Tomas Drysdale."

"Please, it's Tom."

He then looked over to Sienna, "And you are?"

Sienna turned her head towards me and buried it into my arm. "Her name is Sienna."

"Well Sienna, you are one lucky lady." I watched Sienna's ears move as he spoke. "I believe the amount of toxins in your body would have soon killed you. If you had been any later, I'm not sure you would have survived."

"I thank you for all your help Major."

"Please, it's Travis. I don't feel the need for formalities. Any friend of Steve's is a friend of mine. Now we have one possible problem. If someone were to come and search, they'd find us. We need to go somewhere where they couldn't go."

I looked down at Sienna. "You wanna go home?"

"Yes, home."

"I think I have just the place, but we have to walk there."

"Nobody will find us?"

"No, I can guarantee it."

"Then we can leave tomorrow."

"I'll make the arrangements."

"I also noticed, I mean it's not hard to miss, that you are pregnant my dear. I checked out the baby and as far as I can tell, it's healthy. Exposure to those drugs didn't affect it, but we will have to wait and see."

"Baby, good?"

He smiled down at her, "Yes dear, he's healthy and well. Now if you will make the arrangements, we'll leave at first light."

"I'll make that call right now." Turning back to Sienna, "Will you be alright till I get back?"

She grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go. "No alone."

"Alright, I will not leave you alone. Can Tamanae keep you company till I get back?" She slowly nodded and loosened her grip on my arm but never released it.

The major stood up. "I'll go get her for you."

"Thank you."

A few minutes later I watched as Tamanae came inside. "Hey Sienna, how are you doing?"

Sienna smiled at her, "Good."

"I hear you don't want to be left alone."

"No lone, stay?"

"Of course I will, as long as I need to." She turned to me, "Go make arrangements and we'll be waiting for you."

"Do you have the two-way on you?"

"Yes I do."

"If you need anything, call me."

"I will, now go so I can talk to my girl."

"Thank you." I stood up and the Major grabbed my arm and placed it across his shoulders and helped me.

As I left I heard Sienna ask, "What happened?"

"It was amazing, when we got to the company..."

I smiled as the Major took me back to the house. Once inside everyone jumped up to help me. I finally got seated and turned to Duvole. "Can you run upstairs and get the cane that's leaning against the bed. It's the first door on the left."

As he left I turned to Steve, "My cell phone please." I was dialing the number when I looked in the mirror and saw Duvole coming back down with my cane.

He was staring at it as he came over. He held it up and showed it to the others and I heard Ronshia say to Kolane, "See, I told you."

"I don't believe it, she did."

"I told you she did. I'm glad though, she deserves him."

Duvole handed me the cane and I smiled my thanks as I finished dialing Amanda's number. I heard the phone ring and suddenly Amanda answered. "Hello?"

"Hello Amanda?"

"Tom, it's good to hear from you. How are you feeling?"

"Like a million bucks, minus a couple for the leg that is."

"I heard."

"I need a favor."

"Anything."

"We need to disappear for a bit, do you think you have room for us?"

"Brenah already told me to extend you and your friends an invitation here."

"I will also need eight people to carry a stretcher back."

"When do you need them?"

"We were hoping to go at first light."

"I'll see that they get there for you. Anything else?"

"Not right now, tell Brenah that I look forward to seeing him."

"Brenah looks forward to seeing you too... What... Brenah says to tell Sienna that he loves her and can't wait to see her."

"Tell him that I will, and he can tell her himself tomorrow."

"We'll be waiting."

"Thanks."

I just couldn't leave it at her supposed death. I already raised too many questions that 'need' answers. Just remember, rage can do strange things to a person. Anyway I hope you like. And I hope I can recover from it. It was hard to write.
