Chapter 2

2 years passed since Andrew entered the human world, his older brothers got older and graduated, returning to the world of the pack to continue their duties. Without his brothers around, Andrew's father was planning to pull him out of school. Andrew was able to convince his father to let him stay in the human school. Over those years, Andrew didn't want to leave his human friends behind. Reluctantly, Andrew's father allowed his son to continue human school. The new school year was approaching, and Andrew couldn't wait to experience his junior year of high school. This is the year that will change his life forever.

*******

Andrew woke to the sun shining into his room. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Andrew got out of bed and stretched his thin body to the sky. The house was mostly quiet since everyone was working on the farm, so the bathroom was all his to use.

After a quick shower, change of clothes, he made his way downstairs where his mother was still making breakfast.

"Hey mom," Andrew called over to his mother.

"Morning sweetie," his mother said, "sleep well?"

"Yep," he replied. He took his seat at the kitchen counter and waited as his mother dished out eggs, bacon, and toast out on the counter for when everyone is done with their morning chores. Andrew chowed down on his plate full of eggs and bacon, taking gulps of orange juice.

His mother chuckled at his appetites, "You have the hunger of one of the Great Wolves."

Andrew smiled at the old story of the Great Wolves, werewolves that legend said were the most powerful, most alluring, most mysterious werewolves in the non-human world. There are some whispers around the pack that Andrew's father was a Great Wolf himself, none that his father is confirming or disapproving of the rumors.

Andrew's mother walked over to the intercom next to the back door and pressed the button to call the barn, then spoke into it, "boys it time to eat." She then released the call button and walked back to the stove to continue making more eggs and bacon as the rest of the family pounded in from outside taking there places around the island counter.

Andrew's brothers patted him on his back as they took their place at the counter. His father walked in and rubbed his head.

"How you doing sport," his father asked cheerfully.

"Pretty good dad, are the horses ok?" Andrew asked the older man.

His father smiled and nodded as he walked over and kissed his mate on the cheek and replied, "They're good, and Susie's pony is nice an healthy."

Andrew smiled at this, Susie's pony was born a few weeks ago and they've been keeping a close eye on her.

Andrew's mother looked up to the clock seeing it was nearly time for Andrew to leave for school, "Honey, its time for you to get going or you'll be late."

Andrew nodded and moved to the upstairs bathroom brushed his teeth and grabbed his bag and headed out to his car. Waving good-bye to his family who walked out onto the porch to watch him leave, Andrew made his way to school.

*******

Andrew pulled into the student's parking lot and got out of his car. Upon making his way to the front of the school, Andrew saw his best friend since his entrance into the human world, Teddy. The human was sitting with the rest of there friends on the steps of the school. Teddy waved frantically to get his attention; Andrew waved back and made his way over to his friends.

Upon reaching them, Andrew pounded fists with Teddy and high five everyone else before taking a seat on the steps next to Teddy.

"Hey Drew, what's up, ready for school to start?" Teddy said smiling at his best friend.

Andrew just rolled his eyes and stated, "Oh, can't wait, especially when I have to deal with Mr. Woodrick again for Chemistry Honors."

Heather, one of their friends, made a sour face at that and commented, "Ooooh, I'm sorry to hear that, I got Mrs. Raymur." She smiled with pride at her teacher.

Andrew threw a scowl her way and shook his head. He was about to say something to retort, but was cut off by the sound of motorcycles roaring down the road. Everyone looked up at three motorcycles rolling into the parking lot, followed by a black convertible with dark tinted windows.

The convertible parked, and the motorcycle riders hopped off their bikes and waited for whoever was in the car to come out. The door opened, and the sight of the person that stepped out made a few girls gasp.

Andrew felt his breath catch in his throat, butterflies flying around in his stomach. He looked at the man that shut the door to the convertible. He had short black hair, dark sun glasses that covered his eyes, his lean muscles could be seen from under his black t-shirt that hugged him in all the right places and a pair of blue jeans that where loose and teased anyone that tried to see what was under them. He had a smirk on his face that was framed by a light 5 o'clock shadow.

Andrew felt drawn to this man, he then heard his name being called and jerked toward the source of his caller. Teddy had an eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face.

"What?" Andrew asked.

Teddy chuckled and shook his head, "Nothing."

Andrew just shook his head and couldn't help but look back toward the stranger. The guy had six people following him, three of the motorcycle riders, the other three must have been in the convertible. They formed like an organized formation, with the tall man front and center. They began to make their way toward the school.

As they approached, everyone parted for them, and as they neared Andrew's group, Andrew couldn't help but feel like from behind those sunglasses, the tall man was staring at him. The stranger's nostrils were flared a little, like he was taking in a scent of something in the air. Andrew couldn't take the feeling anymore so he looked down and blushed.

The group of strangers made their way into the school and everyone started murmuring amongst himself or herself.

"Oh my fucking God, who the fuck are they?" shrieked Melinda, one of the stereotypical cheerleaders that are blond and stupid.

But that was the question was racing through Andrew's head, 'who was he?'
