To be simpler, these characters will be named after their later names in non-dialogue, they aren't actually named that yet. The eeveelutions usually aren't named until they evolve and picked by a trainer

Anyway, here's Tyler and Shadow's first meeting, can't you just feel the love?

First meeting

Tyler watched with something between amazement and disgust as the final eevee pup was pushed out of the heavily panting vaporeon's vagina, coated in messy amniotic fluids and their umbilical cord still attached.

"Good girl Aqua," his father said soothingly, running a cold clothe over her forehead

His mother, meanwhile, examined the mewling pups to find any problems with her first pokémon's first litter. Afew minutes later, a blob of flesh and blood came out that almost made Tyler barf.

"Please tell me that's all of them," Aqua pleaded

"Looks like it," Janet, his mother, said, patting her side

Aqua curled around the five tiny brown and white pups. She carefully gnawed through their umbilical cords and swallowed them down, this time actually making Tyler barf out the door, as she guided her offspring towards her still somewhat swollen stomach where they latched onto her teats with one to spare.

"Well Tyler?" his father, Brian, asked the ten year old standing off to the side.

Tyler groaned, why was he even here? He'd been pulled away from his friends and games to watch a fat vaporeon shit out a bunch of babies?

"You better get used to it," Janet advised, "you're gonna be helping us with the next ones soon enough"

Now that he'd turned ten, Tyler's parents had started using him for all sorts of things that had previously been handled by the other lesser pain ranch hands. Compared to watching this and wrestling raticate into their pens, taking out the trash wasn't so bad. Maybe that was the point.

"Ee?"

Tyler looked down to find one of the eevee looking up at him from the group, or it would have if its eyes weren't still closed and its ears sealed. After a moment, it returned to its meal.

Why isn't Tyler out on some grand journey? One: big farm that needed a lot of workers that he'd undoubtedly have to take over one day. Two: he doesn't like pokémon

Three months, two weeks old (aprox)

"You little bitch!" Tyler yelled

"Eeeeee!" the eevee screeched

Tyler reached under the couch, clawing at the pup that had just bit him, the marks on his thumb turning red, while she cowered as far away as possible. He'd been playing his console game, the pup jumping in his lap to play with him. Impatiently he'd thrown her aside. Agitated, the eevee that would one day grow into Shadow ran up and chomped her sharp teeth into his hand in her very first bite attack. Now he vowed that he'd find something to do with her along the lines of drop kicking her into the field.

"HA!"

"EEEEEE!"

Tyler ripped 'Shadow' out into the open by the scruff of her neck and slammed her down on her back. She thrashed about, clawing at his wrist and biting at his fingers, but he wasn't letting go. Angered by the new scratches, Tyler squeezed down on the animal barely bigger than his hand, planning to make her stop moving via that method.

"eee" she cried weekly, barely able to breathe

"TYLER!"

Tyler whipped around to find his parents glaring at him. He instantly released the pup and tried to think up an excuse.

"What were you doing!?"

'Shadow' sprinted over to hide behind her new protectors.

"She bit me!"

"Ee!"

"She's a pup, you're a child"

"So?"

"So, you know what you're doing"

"Ee!" she objected, nipping their ankles

"How would you like it if someone did that to you?"

Tyler shrugged with the look of 'when would that happen'.

His father approached him and looked down, taking his height to full advantage, "do it again, and you'll find out," he threatened the wide eyed boy.

His parents weren't usually that harsh, but when their son about to crush an eevee pup, they found it a fitting enough threat. Granted, they would probably never follow through with it.

"Go to your room"

"But!"

"ROOM!"

Tyler stalked off, 'Shadow' sticking her tongue out at him.

An hour later

"Grrr!"

"Calm down Aqua, he's here to apologize, aren't you?" his mother asked

Aqua glared at Tyler, knowing exactly what he'd done to her pup.

"Yes" Tyler grumbled, "sorry"

"I don't think so" his father scolded, smacking the back of Tyler's head

Tyler mumbled some of the curses he'd just learned and kneeled down above the group of almost half a dozen identical eevee.

"How the hell do I know which one's her?"

'Shadow' ran forward and chomped on one of his fingers, causing him to curse loudly

"That one, and stop cursing!"

Tyler looked down at the pokémon nibbling on his digit, her large brown eyes looking up at him like twin pools of muddy water. She looked so innocent, and cute he supposed

"Sorry"

"Good boy, now back to your room"

Tyler went to stand, but the teeth bit deeper into his flesh

"You little-"

"Room"

"She's biting me!"

'Shadow' released his finger with an innocent 'I didn't do anything' look. Tyler glared a moment, but left before they had to give another order.
