Balthazar Palmers sat at his desk pondering the six files that had been offered to him.
The six 'Branded' as it were...
A smile slowly crawled onto his face.
According to the research his dear old departed colleague, Isaac Reaper, undertook... to reach the Ultimate Seal - the Seal that binds all existence - there had to be a single Brand that would unlock 'five locks'...
... and there were now six Branded...
It was perfect.
"Sir..." a figure asked from the shadows. "Shall we intercept the train and capture the Branded?"
Balthazar had considered that possibility... but after reading the reports of what happened the last time the Branded were captured he decided he didn't want to bring them right to his doorstep... yet.
He needed more time to get everything prepared...
... that and this could prove to be an opportunity for him...
"No..." he said, a smile crawling onto his face. "In fact... I leave them alone for now. Observe them but don't provoke them."
"But they're going to try and convince the other Elemental Lords to turn against you."
Balthazar grinned.
"Exactly."
