Life is pain (short rap)
So I have been absent for a good while and there is a reason for that. I was writing a short three part story I was going to upload in September but my grandad fell badly ill and I had to phone hospital. For a long while we all thought his time was up but thankfully he is still with us. To top it off I have been trying to get things sorted with going to America to be with my boyfriend over Christmas and my body has been failing me so that has been rough.
Anyways a little poem/rap I came up with that sums up my struggles. Enjoy.
I've been there before.
Too many times to count.
Over and over I have counted myself out.
One thing I've learned.
In life if you want to be.
Got to try got to try.
Or you'll always get burned.
Life is cruel, it wants you to bleed.
To hurt and to hurt and never meet your needs.
There is no one else, there is only ever yourself.
If you want to push through it has to come from you!
Times are changing.
Always rearranging.
The will is fading.
The important things are failing.
It is all, up to you, to find the power to make it through!
Life is cruel.
It wants to run you through.
Either get consumed by the flame.
Or burn your own path straight-through!
