"You're going to fall and break something,"

"I'll be fi- ow! Didn't know these things had thorns,"

Krystal stood with hands on hips, watching as Fox scaled the tree. It was ablaze with shades of red and orange from the multicolored flowers that were blooming across its canopy. Fox thrashed his way down from the top, with some minor cursing and pokes.

Hopping down, he banged against a branch and sent a rain of the flowers and petals down over Krystal. One of the flowers settled on the tip of a fine nose, then blurred as the set of bright emerald eyes came into focus.

"What was the meaning of that?" She asked.

"I wanted to get you one from the top,"

She brushed the others off her muzzle and hair, taking the one he presented. She spun it in her fingers.

"I think you found the perfect one, Fox,"

Thorntail Hollow. The place didn't look like much of a village from the air. A mossy stone wall encircled grassy foothills dotted with groves and dinosaurs. Trails of dirt were worn in the grass from habitual routes taken to the best grazing areas. The Thorntails sheltered themselves in mounds, easily dug out in the hilly terrain.

Fox landed on a flat stone pavilion, his entrance turning many heads toward his ship. Most apathetic with only the village elder looking concerned as he plodded toward the ship. The Thorntail didn't have familiar names- they translated to various grunts, burps, dick waving patterns and flatulence and so were mostly labelled according to their titles.

"Trouble?"

Fox rubbed behind his ear, "To put it lightly,"

Trekking through the cave stretched on and on, and when Krystal finally came to the exit she didn't recognize the outdoors at first. It was dark- the sun had set. She emerged beneath a waterfall onto a ledge, granted a broad view of the nighttime jungle. The fall tumbled down into a river that she recognized. There would be the Thorntail's village not too far away.

Making her way down an obstacle course of ledges to the riverbank, Krystal stooped to cup some water to her face. Gulping a few handfuls down and splashing another over her warm face. The hot, humid inland evening wasn't helping matters.

Glancing around first, she slid the scant clothing off her body into a small pile of strings at her ankles. Her nakedness was well hidden behind curling flora and darkness. Flat stomach pinned by her belly button and frosted with white spanning out to her hip bones.

She waded out into the water and took a moment to enjoy the peace and quiet of the night. Fox was probably worried sick by now. Admittedly she was getting to that point herself. There was an aura about that wolf that hadn't been present even with General Scales. This was a two fronted chase. The towering beast of flesh and fur and the one stalking in the back of her mind.

Speaking of him...

She turned around, clapping her hands to her breasts and crossing her tail over her midsection. A pair of eyes were on her. But then they fluttered away, one of the butterflies with eye patterns on its wings shining in the moonlight.

There were no prying eyes out there. Just prying thoughts.

Krystal lowered herself into the water. She didn't want to touch herself with the wolf in her mind. No matter how strong he might have been. No matter that his claws had completely encircled her waist and lifted her up like a feather. She lay back and spread her legs wide in the graciously cool river.

Dawn on the next day was rung in with the sound of a horn being blown. Somewhere near Thorntail Hollow, something large was being rolled over the underbrush, wood creaking under its weight. A catapult was pushed out of the jungle and onto the...

Krystal panted as she jogged onward. She halted to listen and glance over her shoulder. Even under her slight body, her paws sunk a bit in the rich, moist soil. There was a path of silence following her through the lively jungle. She didn't linger....

Krystal yawned and untangled herself from the blankets enough to stretch out. Fox lay beside her, uncovered from her movements. She ran a hand from his chest down to his stomach and then the dangly bits below. Playing at the entrance to his sheath with...
