I awoke to find my hands tied behind the back of a metal-and-canvas folding chair, sitting...

I awoke to find my hands tied behind the back of a metal-and-canvas folding chair, sitting beneath a thatched awning. Across from me, Sarkanian glarcd hatred in my direction, one hand slapping a swagger stick into the other. Framing him on either side were two of his goons, wearing forest camouflage and armed to the teeth.

"So, you bozi tghah, you're finally awake," he said, his heavily accented voice growling from between his gritted teeth. "No matter how convincing I try to be, you remain a thorn in my side, aggravating my last good nerve." He reached over and backhanded me across the face. I didn't even bother to flinch - he knew something as minor as that was unlikely to faze me. It was just another one of his failed attempts at intimidation. I'm a trained operative - it's my job to take out egotistical criminals with delusions of grandeur, a job which definitely comes with risks, and I'm certainly not afraid to take a few punches for the cause. In this case, the cause was destroying a guy who's favorite pastime is selling arms to genocidal regimes. So I pushed a bit too hard, went out a bit too far on a limb without backup, and now I'm here. I've gotten out of worse before, and Sarkanian never seemed to me like the kind of guy with the stones to actually use the kind of merchandise he moved.

"My men will find me," I responded, my voice even and calm. Better to get the intimidation started on my side as well, and see if he'd blink.

"No one will find you." He gestured around - besides the shelter, we were surrounded by forest on all sides, except for one... where a metal fence began to stretch off, winding away through what appeared to be a large section of forest. It was at least twice as tall as I was, with coils of razor ribbon wrapped copiously around the top.

"A friend introduced me to this place some years ago. It is, how shall I say... a perfect place for agents such as yourself. A place where you can enter, but one you will never leave, a place where you can... disappear." A harsh smile began to creep across his face as he continued.

"You see, contained within this fence, there is a particular tribe of creatures. Once they find you, and take you in, well... you will cease to be human, and become one of them. Even if anyone was to find you, you would no longer be you - you wouldn't even be recognizable. Perhaps some of my baser colleagues would simply kill you outright, but killing you would tell the world that you were a threat to me. You... you are no threat. And soon, you will be even less of one." His smile was almost sharklike now, and his eyes practically smoldered as he contemplated his revenge. I thought about correcting him on the logic of his last sentence, but thought better of it - making him angrier might destabilize him, but it might also cause him to have me shot then and there.

"Unfortunately, I will not be able to stay to watch the end result, as there are partisans in Burundi without the proper tools to deal out their preferred brand of justice - a problem that I am only too happy to solve, now that I have solved the problem of you. Guards! Take him!"

The guards walked over to me, one of them quickly slicing through my bonds. As soon as he did so, I reached over, attempting to grab the sheathed knife of the other guard in the hopes of putting up at least a bit of resistance. The guard was too quick, though, and held my wrist in a crushing grip. The guard who was freeing me soon did the same with my other wrist, and they hauled me forward by my arms, Sarkanian following behind and laughing sadistically. I tried to launch a kick at him, but the guards yanked on my arms, and I stumbled backward. They dragged me, my heels scraping across the dirt, smugly ignoring my increasingly futile attempts to free myself. Soon, they came to a gate, with a professional high-security tumbler lock, and a huge electrical blade switch, of the type you'd find next to an electric chair. One of the guards threw the switch, which shot off sparks as it disconnected, and the gate momentarily stopped giving off an electric hum. Sarkanian walked over and used an elaborately machined key to open the gate, swinging it open with a flourish.

"Welcome to your new home, my friend. I will make sure the world never misses you." He stepped aside, laughing, as the guards unceremoniously threw me inside the fenced section of forest. Then the door slammed shut, the key clacking in the lock as the gate latched securely, and the renewed hum as the electricity was switched back on. As I got up, dusting myself off, Sarkanian and his goons walked over to a waiting all-terrain truck and sped off, leaving me locked within the enclosure.

Looking around, I took stock of my situation. The fence stretched off into the distance, probably enclosing at least a square mile. Aside from the clearing around the fence, there were nothing but trees to be seen, and the trees were close enough together that seeing very far in one direction was impossible. Most likely, though, whoever was living here was located more towards the center - after all, who wanted to live next to an electric fence?

As I thought about it, it seemed to make sense to follow the fence around and scope it out. The one thing I hadn't seen in the area was a generator or electric transmission pole anywhere, which meant that it was located somewhere else along the perimeter. I didn't dare to touch the fence, not knowing whether there was a lethal amount of current running through it, but if I could find where the electricity was coming from, there was at least the possibility of disabling it. And once that was possible, there were ways to take care of even razor ribbon, the technological evolution of barbed wire. Foil that, climb the fence, and escape - I had enough survival and orienteering skills to make it out of the woods, and even if I could encounter any kind of civilization, I would be able to find my way back, recover, and sniff out Sarkanian's trail once again.

I inventoried what I had to work with. I still had my clothes - my pants and undershirt, at least - as well as a solid pair of combat boots, so mobility wouldn't be a problem. They'd taken my folding knife and my keychain, but they'd left me my wallet, so there was still some hope. I opened it up, and sure enough, my survival kit was still there, disguised as an overly thick credit card. That meant I had enough to do something with - a small knife, compass, mirror, matches, purification tablets, fishing hooks and line. Not much, but with that and my training, I could survive. They hadn't left me with any water, though, so that had to be my first concern. Taking that into account, I decided to walk along the fence, seeing if there was an easy opportunity to escape - but also to deviate towards the center if there was any hint of a lake, stream, or other potential source of water.

First, though, I looked carefully at the gate, but it was a lost cause - as high as the fence, similarly topped, the gap far too small to squeeze through. With the proper time and tools, I might have been able to eventually bypass the lock, but with what I had with me, the task was more or less impossible, made even more so due to the fact that even brushing against any of the metal could potentially electrocute me.

So I walked on, my eyes alert for anything of interest. The fence continued on, curving ever so slightly, yielding no hint of a generator or electrical hookup, just continuing on, impenetrable, humming ominously. Out of curiosity, I grabbed a rock and hurled it at the fence, which sparked angrily in return, returning the rock to the ground with fresh scorch marks. The fence showed no sign of being fazed, though. Maybe if I could find a long enough piece of metal to connect to the fence, bypassing the concrete base and causing the electricity to short directly to the ground... but the only things around me were rocks, soil, and wood, none of them particularly conductive. I continued on, my mind trying futilely to come up with another plan to get around the fence. Tunnel, maybe? I dug experimentally in the dirt, but more than an inch down, and the soil was had clay. I could maybe dig out with enough time, but to do that, I'd need more than I had - food, water, better tools. Climb a tree? But there were none that were close enough to the fence to guarantee I'd be able to jump over. There had to be a way, though, and I'd keep thinking and walking until I found it, or until my need for food or water became so great that I would have no other choice to seek them out.

As I walked along the fence, lost in thought, I heard a branch snap behind me, and something yelp at the sudden noise. I suddenly realized that I had failed to calculate one thing - the fact that, even if I stayed close to the perimeter, whoever else happened to live in this place might decide to seek me out. I quickly whirled around, sliding the small knife out of the kit and hiding it in my palm in case I needed to use it, and looked to see who was following me.

At first, I wasn't quite sure what it was. Perhaps it was a fox, reared up on its hind legs - but it was far too tall for that. In fact, as I looked closer, while some of it looked very foxlike, other parts looked almost... human. Almost. It didn't have paws, but hands and feet, fingers and toes, although their proportions made them seem slightly pawlike. Although covered in fur that seemed to be somewhere between red and orange, it was completely naked, and it - he, I realized - had balls and some sort of protrusion or sheath sticking out above, both covered in fur. His head was fur-covered as well, with no separate hair to speak of, and the front of his face protruded in a way that seemed almost like a muzzle. Finally, behind him, an impossibly fluffy red tail swung slowly back and forth. He was about my size, perhaps a bit smaller, but didn't seem all that muscular - or if he was, the definition was lost amidst the fur. Strangely enough, even with his genitals technically visible, with all of the fur he didn't really seem naked.

For a moment, we both stood our ground, sizing each other up. I was worried that he might attack, somehow, but he seemed more inquisitive than anything. I relaxed a bit, and he walked a few steps closer.

"So... you're the new guy, huh?" he asked, his voice sounding a little unusual, but not all that different from a human - and for all that, he seemed to be speaking decent, almost accentless English.

"If you mean new prisoner, then I suppose that's accurate." This fox-person didn't seem all that much of a threat, but I still looked at him warily, my mind keenly aware of the knife in my hand, its effective range, and precisely how quickly I could bring it into action.

"Prison? Doesn't feel that way to me." He took a couple of steps closer, so that we were within a normal conversational range. "There's a lot more to this place than it looks, and it's enough of a world for me." It was hard to tell due to the shape of his face, but he seemed to be grinning slightly. "I'm just glad that I found you first," he continued, as he brought one of his hands lower, and a moment later was running his fingers along the sheath that must have contained his member. I realized what he was probably implying, and I could feel my grip on the knife tighten automatically.

"So, what, you think that makes me your bitch or something?"

Oddly enough, he almost looked surprised at that. "What? No, that's not what..." He struggled to think of what to say, but at least the need for concentration had meant he'd stopped touching himself. "I mean, now that you're here, you're going to become part of our society. And once you become one of us, usually you stick with the people you meet first as your primary mating partners." He licked his lips, apparently at the thought of that. "As soon as I saw you, I was sure that you'd be right for me."

I, on the other hand, didn't think so. "Look, buddy, no offense, I don't care what kinda crap you try to pull on me, I'm not bending over for anyone... and frankly, I don't think you could take me if you tried."

If anything, this slightly aggressive display seemed to be turning him on even more, and I could see the slightest bit of pink tip beginning to poke its way out of his sheath. "Mmm... you're definitely going to be fun. It's not how you think, though."

"What do you mean?"

"With all this soft fur... there are plenty more ways to play than humans have. You're all so focused on sticking things in holes. There are a couple of guys who still like to, but they're more dominant, so they wouldn't be interested in you."

"Um... dominant?" I still wasn't sure I liked where this was going.

"Sure. The people that end up in here, they usually come in two types. First, there are that guys like you - prepared, in control. They usually do like you've been doing, walking along the edge, looking carefully for a way out. But, when they inevitably... change... they become like dominants, or alphas, something like that. That's why people like me go out to the perimeter when someone new comes in, just to find someone like that. The other kind of people are afraid, panicked, terrified of being alone out here. They run right in, towards the middle, looking for someplace to hide in the trees. And that's where the dominants, once they've changed, go to look for them and take control. And you seem like you're... very dominant. Very much in control."

Actually, the whole situation was making me feel more than a little nervous, deep down, but I knew that if I was going to survive, I had to keep things together. And if this guy wasn't exactly dominant, with what he had said, and the way he was acting...

"So what you mean is, you want to be my bitch."

"It's not as simplistic as that," he replied, his voice sounding a little... odd. "Once it happens, you're going to see me standing there, and recognize me. Then you're going to grab me with those strong arms of yours, and hold me tight, make me know that you own me, that you're going to do whatever you want to me." I supposed I was more muscular than him, but it hadn't been enough to put paid to the guards. I almost thought to mention this to him, but he continued, his eyes almost seeming to glaze over. "Then you're going to push me up against something, hold me down, and dominate me completely, from my head to my toes. And then you're going to have your way with me. No matter how much I shudder, no matter how many times I cum. Even when I'm an exhausted, nerveless heap unable to even respond to your movements, you'll keep using me until you're completely satisfied."

Honestly, that really didn't seem like the kind of thing I'd ever expect to do, and I looked at him more in puzzlement than anything else. Fox-dude or not, most people don't just describe the weird, kinky fantasy they're having about you right to your face. While his lurid descriptions didn't exactly do much of anything for me, they were certainly working for him - even with his unusual face, the lustful expression it had was more than obvious. Even more obvious was his cock, which had now emerged fully from within its sheath. It looked different, more animalistic, with no mushroom-like ridge around a tip that narrowed more to an elongated point, and with a sort of bulge towards the base. There was already a clear drop of pre-cum glistening on the tip. He was going to have to wait on his fantasy, though, because I wasn't anywhere near ready to give up.

"You know what, think whatever you want, but if you try to get within arm's reach, you're gonna regret doing so." I turned partly back towards the fence, still keeping an eye on him, but he didn't look like he was going to try anything. "I don't know what's going to happen yet, but what I do know is, there's a big fence here, and I'm gonna find a way through it. You really want to follow along, fine, but that's what I'm doing."

Oddly enough, he didn't look surprised, and he followed along at a more or less respectful distance as I continued to examine the fenceline. After a while, though, it felt kind weird just having him following me quietly, so I decided to try striking up a conversation, hopefully about something other than whatever sex stuff he was trying to work out.

"Hey, you know, you never told me your name," I said first, glancing back at him. I was relieved to see that his member had fully retreated back into its sheath, and he looked completely calm, as though the previous incident had never happened.

"Oh... it's Alex."

"I'm Declan. Not Irish, but my parents liked the name." Of course, that wasn't true, not really... I'd had so many different cover identities that I could hardly even remember my real name. Not that it mattered, though - my parents had been captured by the Soviets while on a mission when I was a young boy, and no one had ever heard from them since. I was raised by government nannies who didn't love me, really, but at least thought I was owed something given the situation. I grew up, and learned, and became what I am, but whether that makes me a whole person, I never really figured out. I was good at getting bad people out of the picture, and so I stuck with that, and now I was here, trying to find a way out.

"Tell me, Alex, were you always the way you are now?"

"Sure," he said, speeding up to walk alongside me. "I grew up here, and I'm pretty sure I was born here, too. I didn't even know there were people like you until... until later."

"You look like you're at least twenty or so," I replied. "Which means that whatever this place is, it's been here for decades at least. You don't happen to know where we are, do you?"

"We're toward the western side," he replied, and I realized that someone who's lived his whole life within this fenced-in stretch of forest probably didn't know what country it was located in. The trees were deciduous, though, and it certainly wasn't at all like the jungle, so it was probably more towards the poles than the equator. That didn't narrow it down too much, but it was at least something.

"Even if you don't know it," I said, "there's a whole world out there. Forests, oceans, cities..."

"I saw some in a book," Alex replied before I could finish. "Cities, and oceans, I mean. Some of the other people who came in told stories about them, but I'm still not sure if they're real."

"They're real, all right, plus a whole lot more." I thought for a second, and then came to a decision. "Tell you what - if you're willing to rough it for a bit, once I find a way through this fence, I can show you the world that lies beyond it." Of course, it wasn't entirely altruistic - I was sure that my employers would be more than happy to study a creature like Alex.

Of course, to do any of that, I first had to get through the bloody fence, which was turning out to be more challenging than I had thought. As we walked, Alex and I talked a bit more about the place that we were in. There was no name for it, specifically, but he seemed to think it was called "The Village." He didn't seem to know when it started, just assuming that his people had always been there, and he couldn't remember a time when there hadn't been a fence, although the razor ribbon had appeared on it when he was a young boy. He also described many different people who had been sent here throughout the years - mostly men, sometimes women. He didn't seem to know much about the women, though. "Once you grow up, only the most powerful dominants - the leaders, I guess - get close to them. There are so few of them, and there aren't many kids - mostly, the people come in through the gate."

He also recognized Sarkanian when I described him, but said that he was far from the only person to throw people in here - dozens of people showed up on a fairly regular basis, all with armed guards, and prisoners to deposit. I thought of all the spies, agents, and everyone else who could have ended up in here over the years - some of our most famous missing agents might in fact be here, in this very location. If I could get out, and come back here with a team, I might be able to rescue so many people... assuming, of course, that they even remembered their past lives, or wanted to go back to them. If they were all changed into something like Alex, and had lived that way for years...

I pushed that thought aside, and redoubled my efforts to find an easy way through the fence. They met with little success, though, and an hour later, we had circled all the way around and come back to the gate, without a generator or power cable in sight. The power must be underground, perhaps fed up through the concrete pylons the fenced was based on. In any case, I was already starting to feel thirsty, and this project would take more resources than I currently had at hand. Whether I liked it or not, it was probably time to meet the rest of the natives, and hope that my skills would keep me alive regardless of the reception they decided to give me.

Alex was more than happy to go back, and I had him lead the way, staying alert for any other dangers that might have been lurking in the forest. The walk was mostly uneventful, though, with Alex deftly weaving in between tree trunks, brushing aside any vegetation in his path, his tail helping him balance through each maneuver. I followed a bit more clumsily and cautiously, as my own clothing frequently tangled on errant branches. It seemed that fur was a bit of an advantage when navigating in the woods.

On the way in, we came across another fox-person, this one slightly taller and thinner, but no more developed. He introduced himself as Tim, and looked more than a bit jealous that Alex was already accompanying me.

"Aww... I was hoping to get him to myself," he complained.

"Don't worry," said Alex in response. "You're only the second person to meet him, right? I'm sure there's enough energy in him for you too." Not wanting to have a repeat of the first conversation, I wisely kept silent, and they chatted a bit amongst themselves as we walked. It was only a few more minutes, anyway, before the village first came into view from beyond a stand of trees.

The village was of much the same construction as the shelter I'd been held in earlier, or at least it seemed that way as I approached. As I got closer, though, I could see that the thatched roofing was actually an applique on top of some sort of asphalt shingles, and the wattle-and-daub walls were actually some sort of patterned stucco. Despite the theme, this village was built to last.

As we walked into the village proper, I noticed that there were at least a hundred individual one-story houses laid out in the clearing more or less haphazardly, with dirt roads connecting between them in a crazyquilt layout. They were all, though, more or less arrayed around a sort of plaza in the center, with a small raised dais set among a small stand of trees.

Walking through the town, of course, were at least a few dozen of the fox creatures, ranging from what looked to be around 18 or so to old age, and every single one of them seemed to be male. As we walked, though, more and more of them seemed to take notice of me, and they followed us as we walked along one of the larger roads into the town plaza.

I looked behind me as I walked, watching as they followed more or less in line, and I noticed something - the population was more or less divided into two categories. A bit more than half were like my companions, fairly thin without much definition, while the rest had considerably more musculature showing through their fur. Each of the bulkier ones was accompanied by at least one of the thinner ones, walking closely next to them. Seeing them together, I began to wonder whether what Alex had mentioned before was actually true.

As we reached the square, though, an especially imposing figure walked out of one of the larger huts - houses, really - which opened onto the plaza and walked up to me.

"Ah, here's our new arrival now!" he exclaimed in a deep, booming voice. "I know you've all waited long enough, so it's time for the festivities to begin!"

"Wait, wait, hold up a second," I said, not sure what was going on. "Not sure what you mean by festivities, but don't celebrate on my behalf. I'm just here to see if I can get some supplies, and then I'll be back over that fence and out of your, er, fur."

In return, he slapped me on the back, and I almost flinched at the strength of it. "Ha ha! You don't know it, but that's what they all say! Everyone's just here for a moment, until they're not."

Given his size, I didn't really want to disagree with him, but I had to press on. "Look, I truly mean no disrespect, but I do mean to get out of here. If I can just get some-"

"Really, there's no need to hurry so!" he interjected. "The fence will be there today, tomorrow, the day after that."

"But I want to-"

"Just relax, relax! If you're here through the gate, you've had a tough day as it is. Relax for a moment! You're tense now, but after the ceremony, you'll feel much better. Everybody does."

I realized that I'd have to sit through whatever they'd planned before I'd be able to get much help out of them, so I sighed, conceding the point. "Fine, fine, we'll do the ceremony first. Can I at least get something to drink, though?"

"But of course!" The man, obviously the town's leader, turned away and walked towards a large basin sitting off to one side of the dais. He was naked, as was everyone else, with slightly darker fur that did little to hide the obvious musculature underneath. Maybe he seemed to be like a fox in other ways, but he was practically built like a grizzly bear. I made a mental note never to tangle with him directly, unless I could dig up a much better weapon than the one I currently had. No one had been violent so far, though, which I figured was a good sign.

He came back holding a pewter cup filled with fairly clear-looking water. I pulled out one of the purification tablets and tossed it in anyway, just to be on the safe side. The water tasted decent enough, aside from the chemical taste of the tablet. I drank the liquid down in one long series of gulps, and started to feel a bit better. I was trained to function well for at least a day without water, but it wasn't pleasant.

Finishing my water, I looked back to see the leader walking onto the dais, stopping behind a wooden podium with what almost looked like a microphone on top. He reached down and pressed on something, and a moment later, there was a loud squeal as speakers hidden in the tree branches sprang to life. Despite its humble appearances, this village had many more conveniences than it seemed - and if it had electricity, it might even secretly house the source of the power feeding the fence, or at the very least there might be a common electrical feed to trace.

A moment later, the man's amplified voice boomed over the speakers. "Welcome, friends, welcome! As you no doubt know by now, someone else has ventured through the gate, and is here to join us! Tell me, son, what is your name?"

"Um, Declan?" I replied, then turned around to look at the crowd staring at me. It had grown considerably, and there were at least a hundred people standing around in the square.

"Declan, then, a fine name for a fine citizen!" He continued, his voice taking on an almost ritualistic tone, as he read aloud, looking down at the podium. "From time immemorial, it has always been our duty to be accepting of all - to take in those who are wandering, lost and alone, and restore to them a sense of belonging. We are here to take in the stray, the outcast, those without hope, and restore them unto us. We are here to celebrate freedom, life, and love, and to make this man, Declan, one of us."

He stopped reading and looked up, noticing Alex and Tim standing beside me. "I see you already have your two sponsors. Excellent! We can begin immediately, then." He turned slightly to look straight at me.

"You may disrobe now."

"I beg your pardon?" I said, not quite believing it.

"He means take off your clothes," Alex whispered, and his hands were already reaching forward to lift up my T-shirt. A dozen tactical plans raced through my head as I began to suspect what was happening, but there was little I could do - not unarmed against at least a hundred of them. If they did try to rape me, I wasn't sure what I'd do, but I realized that the safest plan of action was to wait and see what would happen. I didn't think anyone wanted to kill me, and no matter what else happened, if I could survive, there was always the hope of escape. I mentally ran through my SERE training in my head, and forced myself to stay calm as Alex stripped my shirt the rest of the way off. I went to undo my belt, but then paused, and turned back to the man on the podium. At this point, what harm could it do?

"I will get my clothes back, right?" I asked, and thankfully, he nodded. "Once we are done, you can have them back, but I doubt you will want them." I was sure that I would though - at the very least my wallet, and the essential survival tools that lay inside.

Relieved about that, at least, I unlaced my boots and pulled them off, tucking my socks inside them, before undoing my belt and pulling off my pants. I stood there in my briefs, waiting to see what would happen next. I looked up to see the leader glaring at me, and realized that he had probably meant to disrobe all the way. Alex, though, was already on it. He reached down, fondling my bulge appreciatively. I squirmed at the touch, uneasily growing hard, as Alex reached for the waistband and pulled my underwear slowly but steadily downward. I was soon naked, my burgeoning erection on display for everyone to see. I flushed deeply with embarrassment, but rather than the expected laughter, I was met with rapt, attentive silence by the entire audience, staring at me with some sort of anticipation. Alex and Tim stood to either side of me, their members beginning to appear out of their sheaths, and each one took one of my hands in theirs as we faced the leader.

"Very well then," the leader boomed, gesturing us up, and Alex and Tim walked me up to stand between them on the dais, off to the side of the leader. "Are you ready?" he asked, and Alex and Tim nodded vigorously. I hesitated, the fear creeping across my chest screaming at me to run, just run, but I clamped down on it, finally nodding slightly.

"Then let us begin!" the leader said, and stepped off the stage, leaving us up there, alone, with the entire audience watching.

"Finally," Alex said, turning, and a moment later, my entire right side was engulfed in fur as he pressed his body against mine, the sheath pressing insistently against my lower hip. Tim soon followed suit, running his hands along my chest and back to hug me around my shoulders, while Alex hugged me around my waist, their soft arms encircling me and gently holding my arms at my sides, their muzzles tucked into the crook beneath my neck and shoulder. They snuggled close to me, and it was so comfortable - the soft fur, their warm bodies against mine, the way they nuzzled close, like all they wanted in the world was to touch me. There didn't seem to be anything agressive to it at all, as they purred and rubbed softly. Through it all, I felt very warm, smooth skin slowly making its way up my hips as their erections slowly grew against me. Suddenly, I felt cold, then hot, and then an incredible, undefinable feeling flashed outward from my chest and across the rest of my body. And then... it happened.

When you read books about werewolves, or see movies where people transform, it looks like a horrific process - screaming, moaning, thrashing about through ripped clothes as your body painfully remakes itself. This, though, was almost the opposite. My entire body started tingling, and I watched as beautiful reddish fur began to extrude outward from my skin. My fingers and toes curled and uncurled, stretching out comfortably as they obtained their subtly different new shape. I felt my jaw relax, and slide forward, and it almost felt somehow like it had always been too tensed, too compact, and it felt so much better in its new shape. As my new ears took shape, I could suddenly hear a wide variety of new sounds, and my newly sensitive nose could pick out both Alex and Tim by their newly discovered, arousing scents. Down below, I felt my balls pull closer in, and my member relaxed, pulling tightly up against my chest, and then sliding down, nestling comfortably inside the warm sheath that wrapped around it like a glove. Finally, a feeling that felt almost orgasmic shivered down my spine, down through my tailbone, and kept going, making its way until it twitched delightfully through the tip of my newly formed tail.

The experience was amazing. After the feelings began to subside, I struggled to catch my breath and recover from the overwhelming nature of what had happened. In many ways my body felt different... but better. My senses were clearer, my entire body was delightfully warm beneath the fur, and everything suddenly seemed more vibrant, more alive. The leader, standing off to the side, was booming something so loud that my ears, newly attuning themselves, could barely make anything out under the sheer volume of it. I realized that Alex and Tim had pulled away from my sides, and that the crowd was beginning to mill about, moans starting to emanate upward as those in the plaza began to touch and move against each other.

I just stood there, taking it all in. I felt like, despite it all, I could take on the world. I felt better, and stronger... and, as I suddenly realized, hornier than I had ever been before. This new body had needs, and it wanted to take care of them. Picking up a familiar scent, I turned around almost automatically.

Alex was standing off to the side, leaning against one of the trees in the center of the plaza, a lusty grin spread across his muzzle, with his full erection proudly on display. Any notions of previous sexuality vanished as my arousal hit, and I walked purposefully over to him, his eyes following my progress longingly as his member twitched in anticipation. I wanted him, in no uncertain way, and he practically yelped with delight when I grabbed his shoulders, pinning him up against the tree. In response, he happily wrapped his arms around my neck, quickly darting his tongue across my cheek.

"Take me," he said simply, his voice no more than a whisper. I grabbed the bark of the tree with one hand, using the other to hold fast to his shoulder as I pressed my chest up against his, holding him firmly in place, feeling the quickness of his breathing. He was incredibly warm now, and I could feel the heat radiating outward from his chest. He wanted it... and now we were going to have some fun.

I planted my feet forward carefully, my cock now fully emerged from its sheath and almost painfully erect. I moved my hips forward slowly until the very tip of my cock rubbed up momentarily against his. He gasped at the contact, and I could feel his body writhe against mine. I pulled back and did it again, and again, delighting at the way it made him shiver, the way it made his muscles tense against me. Soon, his eyes were practically begging me for more, and I was happy to oblige.

I rocked my hips forward all the way, hard, pressing his pelvis back and fully pinning his body against the tree. For a moment, we were tightly together, and I could feel the intense warmth of his cock as it pressed against the entire length of mine. Then his hips bucked and we came apart, my cock comfortably snuggling against the incredibly fine fur of his pelvis, and felt his rub against mine.

I kept him pressed tightly against the tree, grinding against him, my member delighting in the fur stroking against it, the incredible warmth and closeness that the position entailed. Alex, for his part, yipped and moaned, his fingers pressing through the fur and digging into my back as the sensation overtook him. He almost screamed, but his voice broke off in a gasp as orgasm overtook him, his hips shuddering. I paused for a moment, bringing my cock to rest against his, feeling it pulse hotly as he came. His cum pulsed wetly against my fur, but as it dripped down, I realized that it was different from what I expected - it wasn't sticky, but slick, almost like a gel lubricant, and instead of matting our fur, it intermingled with it, making for a slippery, unusual feel that was even more intense than just the fur alone. He moaned as I quickly resumed grinding, his erection still holding, his whole body thrilling to my touch as I pushed against him harder still. It felt good, so good, but I wasn't ready to finish yet. As the pleasurable noises increased from the crowd around me, I pushed on, and there was nothing I wanted to do more than be right there, feeling his warm body responding joyously to my ministrations. He came again and again, and this time I didn't even bother to pause, occasionally feeling his cum splash warmly against my cock as I pressed against him. Soon his arms relaxed, and I could feel him begin to slide down the tree as his knees went weak. In response, I wrapped my arms around him and held him up, feeling his relaxed thighs rub back and forth against my thighs with each frenzied thrust. Finally, it was enough, and ecstasy rolled through my entire body as I came, pulsing again and again against his fully relaxed form. As I relaxed from it, my cock still hard and rubbing against his now-soaked pelvis, I slowly came away from the tree, licking gently at his face, which somehow managed to show a sex-flush through the fur. He snuggled weakly against me in response, his body completely exhausted, his pelvis still shivering from the aftershocks of orgasm. Lowering him gently to the ground, I stroked the fur on his back as he curled up on the grass underneath the tree, quickly falling into a post-coital slumber with a languid grin of complete satiation worn happily across his muzzle.

The arousal had subsided momentarily, even if my erection had not, and I took a moment to step back and assess the situation. Despite my earlier skepticism, Alex had more or less been right about what had happened - the arousal that I had felt was so powerful, so undeniable, that I didn't hesitate to, well, use him until I was satisfied. In fact, it was probably the roughest sex I had ever had, but due to the fur, also the softest - and Alex, from all his reactions, seemed to have enjoyed every bit. It was a new sensation, but it felt good, having the power to give someone such inescapable, undeniable pleasure, up to and beyond the limits they had previously imagined.

I noticed a pile of towels near the podium, and grabbed one to towel off the cum that was still wetting down the fur on my stomach and pelvis. Looking around, I noticed that the crowd on the rest of the plaza was still at it, some as couples pressed tightly together, while others had joined together in large piles of moaning, writhing fur. The smell of everyone's musk and cum was almost overwhelming, but it all smelled so good, and I felt my arousal quickly returning. Then I smelled another familiar scent and turned to see Tim, who was leaning against a nearby tree all by himself.

I suddenly realized that he had probably been watching us the entire time, waiting for me to find him. Sure enough, he was still masturbating, but in a way I hadn't imagined possible - he had tucked his tail in between his legs, bringing it back over his crotch, holding the tip of the tail in place with his hands while his cock rubbed up against it.

When he noticed me walking over to him, he tried to pull the tail back, but I grabbed ahold of it before he could and pressed it back into place.

"Are you going to..." he asked, relaxing against my touch.

"Yes," I replied, and he nodded, murring softly as I hugged him, his hands snuggling against my lower back as I moved in, trapping the tail between our two members.

At this, the tail almost seemed to take on a life of its own, twitching madly back and forth as it tried to escape. The almost random motion was unusual but intense, stimulating my cock as it rubbed against it in ways I had never imagined. Tim, on the other hand, was almost twice as affected, as he could feel both the motion of the tail, as well as the tight, warm feeling of both our members snuggling closely against it. Tim was speechless, panting breathlessly just to keep up with the sensations that shivered continuously through him, the feeling tensing his spine and causing his back to arch inward, his chest so tight against mine that I could feel his heart pumping rapidly. All his muscles were completely tensed as I practically vibrated my lower body against his, and his tail went completely berserk, shuddering violently. "Oh, god!" he screamed, and then began a low moan that went on and on as his whole body shivered through an orgasm that seemed to last for minutes. Somewhere along the line, the intensity of his body spasming against mine sent me over the top as well, causing me to lose my footing as I came with impossible intensity. We rolled around on the ground, lost in the feeling of orgasm, his tail twitching in response to each barrage of cum we let loose on it. Finally, we collapsed side by side, the grass and cool earth pleasant against my back, Tim's hips and legs still twitching as his throbbing penis fired off a few final streams of cum, the liquid glinting briefly in the late afternoon sun as it arced over to splash down on his chest. I lay there, feeling completely spent and overwhelmingly relaxed, my cock pulling back to snuggle itself into the newfound comfort of the sheath. Somewhere, in the back of my mind, a voice was trying to remind me that I still had to escape, that Sarkanian was still out there dealing destruction, but I happily ignored it. What had started out as a crappy day had turned out quite different - heck, I'd turned out quite different - and I wasn't ready to let go of the feeling just yet.

Leaving Tim to sigh happily, I got up and wandered back over to where Alex was sleeping. The crowd was considerably quieter now, with a few couples still going at it, boats rocking in a sea of sleeping, pleasantly intertwined bodies. Alex was half-awake now, and amazingly, his hips were still twitching every so often from the aftermath of an orgasm that refused to completely subside.

"You were incredible," he murmured, as I reached down to stroke his fur.

"So were you," I replied, and he smiled. "You know, I'm against owning people, but I'll tell you what - anytime you want me to do that to you again, you just let me know, and I'm sure my body will be happy to oblige you."

"Don't worry, my body will let you know when." His sheath twitched as he said it, and I knew what he meant.

"Okay, then." I reached down and patted him on the sheath, and he ground into my hand momentarily in response. "You get some rest, now." He nodded, and quickly fell back asleep.

I was tired but still awake enough, so I climbed onto the dais and looked down at the mass of sleeping, happy bodies stretching out across the plaza. Now that I had been through it all, I could see why no one had ever escaped - the experience was so incredible, for everyone involved, that it was easy to see how people could become lost in it. Escape, and live forever regarded as a freak or a curiosity, or stay here, in a world of pleasure and love with hundreds of others like you. Even if events like this one didn't happen every day, I could easily imagine just giving in and living out the rest of my days like this, being with Alex and Tim, close and warm together, as the days and weeks, as time itself, slowly lost meaning. But there was a drive inside me that wouldn't go away, a constant determination that gnawed at the back of my mind. Sarkanian was still out there, and while I drew breath - heck, while he still drew breath - I had a mission to complete. And as much as there was to be said for complacency, I knew that every day I delayed, more weapons changed hands, and more people caught bullets that should never have been meant for them. And while the leader, whose name I had yet to hear, was right - the fence would still be there tomorrow, and the day after that - I couldn't just stay here indefinitely. Perhaps I would stay for a time - growing used to my new form, gathering supplies, and seeing if I could track down the mysterious power source that could be running both the village and the fence. If I could, I'd take Alex and Tim with me - but I would escape. Time and time again, I'd done my job, and while this time went far beyond anything I'd ever experienced before, ultimately it was no different - I would find a way to persevere, and whether it took a month, or a year, or a decade, Sarkanian would pay.

_Author's Note: Most of this story is drawn from a series of scenes I experienced in a very vivid dream I had, with a bit of extra plot thrown in to tie them together (as dreams don't always make perfect sense or follow chronologically, I added enough of a framework for everything to flow together in a linear fashion). I suppose I wrote this down as an act of catharsis, to try to make some sense of it. Dunno if I'm going to continue it or not yet, not sure if this is really my style, but it was definitely different to write. _
