So it appears the first door is open to the desert labyrinth

The three had walked inside the first portal which was a labyrinth styled like a desert pyramid, and it looked about to be 14 stories high. While peaking around the first floor of it there were monsters and other things found there like ghosts of the people of this time period. Lucas made the right choice to just leave as they did not really have any way of exploring and later on left that labyrinth and left the time realm just to see time did not pass at all from within there. Later on back at their dorm they were talking about this with the rest of their friends and where to go from here and what to do.
