Seems like they found the source..

The team goes back to the Crystal world and Isaac notices that the world just shifts around a bit in some areas. Issac then notices that this world seems to be almost like a labyrinth in some areas where it's different from where they entered from before in some areas besides the main one. The team for a few hours have navigated the world to see what could be the source of all this magic crystal madness. And it turns out that the source of the crystal world was this ghost-like crystal blob, sometimes creating things like a spawner but are unable to really touch the ghost. So by the time the team made it out of the crystal world they were trying to figure out a way to stop the crystal madness and even Cole was stumped on how to figure this out.
