The Teacher's Terror

Part 2

by Draconicon

David's expectations of sex with a - well, he didn't know what he would call Laticia. Not entirely a woman anymore, not with a pointed, canine-esque cock between her legs, and certainly not human with the beak and the forming tail and bumps along either side of her spine. Not inhuman, for she still looked mostly human, and she still had most of her femininity, but those things threw him off.

Regardless, his expectations of sex with her were low, but twenty minutes later, he realized that they shouldn't have been. He stumbled up from the desk she'd bent him over, his ass tingling, his eyes rolled back still, and his breath barely coming back to him at that point. He shivered, his hole clenching tight around the load that she'd left in him, and he groaned as he struggled to pull himself back to his feet.

"Holy...holy..."

"Mmmph...that...that was good."

Laticia sounded like she was recovering from it a little bit better than he was. Admittedly, she probably hadn't just cheated on her partner while he had, but there was also the fact that she had stayed on top, while he had been the one that was shoved down and rutted by a cock that was most definitely inhuman in shape.

Not that his was much better at that moment. His cock throbbed beneath the level of the desk, dripping still, not quite over his own orgasm, not quite softening, not quite done, as far as he was concerned. Yet, he still managed to stand up, resting his hands on the desk, feeling something inside of him dripping free. Oh. Right. The first orgasm that she'd pumped in before she hit him with a second one without warning. Rather virile sort of gryphon, it seemed, and one that had more than a little bit to offer her partners.

He turned around slowly, wishing that he had the guts to pull his pants back on just yet. Or the thought to. Or something. Still hard to think.

She was doing better than he was, pulling her skirt back on, her cheeks ever so slightly reddened, but no longer so freaked out. He supposed that once you used the new equipment, it didn't feel quite so foreign anymore, and that probably was helping her out to no small extent.

"What...how are you feeling?" he managed to ask.

"I...I think I'm doing better."

"Much better?"

"A little better. Not going to faint, anyway," she admitted.

"That's...something."

They were both silent, the niceties rather extinguished by that. He looked at her, the question about the history of this place dying on his lips before he could ask. The fact that she was as surprised as he was as to what had happened here kind of told the whole story. He wasn't going to find out why they were changing from someone that didn't know why they had a cock, he felt, and that meant that he had to go and find someone else that did know the answer.

Absenting himself with a nod and a mutter, he pulled his pants back up, trying to get used to the feeling of webbed fingers and toes. He could still feel the latter with every step, feeling like he was pressing his toes together, as if there were some sort of gunk between them that needed to be cleaned out. He ignored it as best he could, just like he ignored the big question at the back of his mind.

What the fuck was he going to tell Juan about this?

Eventually, he reached the library. He figured that, for now, the best thing that he could do was find the librarian and see if there was anything in the library about what had happened to him and Laticia. He imagined that there were records if this had happened before, even if they were private and only allowed to the Academy.

The NDA he'd signed was starting to make a great deal more sense.

He walked into the old-style room, half-expecting to be greeted by some woman in spectacles and a tied-back bun, but there was no-one at the check-out desk. Nothing to be seen in terms of assistants stocking bookshelves, either, though that was less surprising since the semester hadn't started yet, and this whole place was probably still warming up after being on lock-down for the summer holidays. He rubbed his arm, wondering if he dared start looking around on his own. The pressure between his fingers, the tugging feeling of the webbing, and the odd little bumps under his shirt were enough to tell him that he should.

As he wandered through the curved aisles that the bookshelves created, he couldn't help but look up at the ceiling. A long-since faded mural decorated it, something that had been put there in the past and then left to rot. It almost looked like some sort of Lovecraftian void, something where dark gods and ancient monsters would have emerged from, waiting to fall through to the world below and seize the mortals waiting for them like a sacrifice.

Any other time, he might have laughed at that idea. Right at that moment, it felt all too possible.

He rounded the corner, still hoping that he might run into someone that counted as staff, only to freeze in place. His eyes widened as he stared straight ahead, his mouth falling open as he saw a figure waiting at the end of another aisle, someone utterly impossible.

Standing ten feet tall, 'she' was leaning over a fire, her shoulders hunched, a great patchwork quilt of a cloak resting over her shoulders. Rather than the dark or light skin that he was used to seeing on people, her skin was stone gray. Appropriate, considering that she was made of stone, her clothes carved onto her, her features likewise. The glasses she wore stood out because they were one of the few things besides the quilt-cloak that actually was made of real materials rather than just part of her body.

She turned as he stared, looming over him by almost four feet in height. Her face was boxy, almost canine-like, while her wings were pulled in tight to her back. Despite the 'clothes' on her, she had obvious breast bumps under them, three rows of tits running all the way from her pectorals down to her waist.

And yet, despite that, she smiled. Green lights flickered in her eyes, and he didn't know if that was a reflection or something from inside, but the glimmer was, at least, somewhat calming. His heart no longer felt like it was going to explode from his chest, at least.

"Who..."

"Ah, someone asking who? Not what? Ah, do we have a student of history, or a student of mythology?" she teased, her voice croaky like an old frog or a much older woman. "Nevermind, dear. Come here."

"..."

"Don't worry. I don't bite."

"I...alright."

Almost against his will, he walked down the next aisle until he stood before the odd creature, looking her in the eye and wondering just what he was getting himself into. The closer that he got, the more he understood what he was looking at. Something that was so mythical that nobody would have believed him if he said that he had run into one, and the sort of thing that he honestly hadn't expected to see even in its less mythical form in the middle of a building. They tended to belong on the heights, instead.

A gargoyle. A real, live, gargoyle.

There were some differences, of course. She did have softer-looking stone-flesh in places, and he could tell that she was not entirely the same as the bestial things that decorated other churches and ostensibly guarded them, but this was something that was still utterly impossible. He looked down at her again, and then slowly lifted his eyes to her gaze, looking through the half-moon spectacles -

"Are you the librarian?" he asked, the words coming free before he could consider them.

"Oh, very good, dear, very good." She smiled, offering a claw-like hand. "My name is Rhea. You must be new here, with all that fear in your eyes. Don't worry. It happens to all of us."

"Happens...the transformation?" he asked, holding up one hand.

"Indeed. It's just part of the process, dearie."

"Process? Process? Process for what?"

"Oh, my. You really need to calm down. Don't worry. I'll explain."

"Please...I...I really don't know what to think right now."

"Just sit down - um, wait. Here."

She sat down, instead, offering one leg for him to take as his seat. Considering the size difference between them, that would barely put him on face level for her, and that was still just barely. He hesitated, feeling a bit odd about using someone else's anatomy as a piece of furniture, but she patted her leg with some insistence, so he went along with it.

As Rhea got comfortable, he couldn't help but notice how she was different from a regular gargoyle. It wasn't just the slight curves that ran along her body - though those were more rigid and monstrous, true - but also the fact that she had a softness to her, something that looked actually fleshy rather than being pure stone. At least, in places. Her hands were still rocky and rough, and there were definite places in the jaw where she looked like she had been ripped out of the stonework and given shape, but there were other places that still looked living, almost human.

The eyes, in particular, had that sort of humanity, but even they were slightly off, glowing in a way that was almost like a diamond's inner light tinted with the shade of an emerald. It was so strange.

Finally, as she got comfortable, she explained.

"The Peterson Academy isn't for humans, you see. It's for monsters."

"But...No, no, that's not right..."

"What's not, dear?"

"I was...well, I was going to say that they don't exist, but..."

He gestured at himself. Rhea nodded, smiling.

"That's right, dear. We're monsters, too. If you're hired on, they start changing you to fit in."

"...What kind of monsters are we talking about?"

"Oh, all kinds, from the old sorts from the haunted houses to the horror movies to...well, pretty much anything that blended humanity and beast. I think we have a few relatives of the Monster from the Black Lagoon attending this year."

"..."

"That's why we have to be so secretive, after all. It's not like the rest of humanity is really ready to understand that this exists out here, you know."

"But...but this..."

He gestured at his face, at his teeth - so sharp compared to what they had been - to his hands. They were so...not him. He shivered.

"There's got to be a way to turn it around. If I'd known -"

"If you knew, there would be little point in the NDAs, right?"

"..."

"And you know that you are getting paid far more than the going rate for a teacher, don't you?" Rhea pointed out. "Didn't you question that when you were signing the papers?"

"...Not enough, apparently."

He'd known that it was a hell of a good deal, better than he'd get from any other institution across the country, but he had told himself that it was just down to what the Peterson Academy was. But that had been a lie to himself, a way to make the part of him that worried - rightfully so - quiet and silent. To let him do this. To let him enjoy it rather than pushing for an explanation and maybe losing everything.

"Does...does it go away?" he asked.

"Hmm?"

"Does it go away? Can I go...can I go back to being human, if I promise to keep to the NDA?"

"Oh...dear, dear," she muttered, patting his shoulder with an awkward hand, and he had his answer.

Much as Rhea tried to be comforting and philosophical about it, there was nothing that she could do to make him feel better after that. He excused himself, going so far as to use his shirt to wipe the little bit of creampie that had oozed through his pants onto her stone leg clean, and then left the library. Starting at a walk, he sped to a jog, and then eventually to a run as the facts of the situation pursued him with every step, present in the nodules rubbing against his shirt, in the webbing between his digits, in the ache in his mouth from teeth that were harder and stronger than the jaws that held them.

What the hell was he turning into? He remembered his eyes, the black reflections that he'd seen in Laticia's eyes, and he remembered thinking 'shark' when he saw that. Was that his fate? To become some man-shark that was to teach the students how to count and do their numbers in the higher fields? How the hell was he supposed to teach that when he could barely look himself in the face anymore?

For that matter, what were the monsters going to be doing with what? What the hell would they use numbers for when they were hiding from the rest of the world? Was this just some sort of 'know the theory so when the day comes you can use it' thing, where they were never going to have a practical application?

Fuck.

Fuck.

Fuck.

He ran so hard and so fast that he didn't know where he was going, just that he had to try and outrun something that couldn't be escaped. Eventually, David returned to the dorms, finding that the hallway between the various chambers was far more occupied this time, and not by humans.

His mind raced as he stared at the various different creatures before him, ranging from those that had been transformed into something vaguely aquatic to those with more of a land-based shift. One person had already shifted far enough that he no longer had arms, but instead had wings, stretched out behind him at his sides, with legs that were going vaguely scaly, while leaving a very human core.

Harpy, some part of him managed to name it.

His breath caught in his throat as he saw all kinds of 'monsters' before him, and it took him a moment to realize that they weren't the people that he'd be teaching. These were his fellow teachers.

Oh...god...

David struggled to keep breathing as he looked from one face to another, seeing the same fear that he felt on some of them, others merely confused, and still others looking like they were enjoying themselves. He could hear the chatter, the confusion, even the anger, as well as some of the more experienced voices in the crowd to tell the new teachers to calm down and get used to it, as if there was no way out.

No way out.

No way out.

There had to be a way out, had to be. If there wasn't - there had to be. He wasn't going to lose Juan, and he wasn't going to lose himself.

Still barely keeping his heart from exploding through his rib cage, he stumbled forward, pushing through the crowd one furred, scaly, or feathered person at a time. He kept his head down, trying to keep his eyes on the floor, but even then, he saw those that were trying and failing to keep their feet contained in shoes that were not measured for hooves, or paws, or in one case -

"Oh, what's the matter? Feeling too stupid to understand what's happening to you, so you just want to ignore it?"

A hissing, slithering voice came from a body just as long and serpentine as David looked up to see it. The speaker was...well, he believed the term was 'naga', considering there was a human upper half and a serpentine lower one, the latter bright green and the former not exactly hiding itself. There was some self-consciousness there - at least, he assumed that was what the red cheeks meant - but there wasn't much, and the naga slithered right over to him despite the slight swelling down in the exposed vent just below the crotch.

"Oh? Are you that slow? Or are you that feebleminded that you're already overwhelmed?" the other 'teacher' said.

"Get out of my way," David muttered.

"Why should I do that?"

"Because I just want to go to my room."

"Go to your room? Like a sulking teenager?"

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way."

"Or what? You'll bite me?"

"I'm...tempted."

And a part of him was, in a very terrifying way. There was something in him besides just the blind fear of having been transformed. There was something that wanted to lash out, and something that wanted to rip and tear like a sharp pulling through prey in the ocean deep. The fact that he didn't have the rest of the body needed to do it didn't matter. What he wanted was to rip this snake open with his teeth and -

"Nnngh..."

There was no blood, but the thought of it was enough to give him a very different reaction. Not just a sense of hunger, but a sense of rutting lust, the sense of fucking, taking, using.

He wrapped his hands around his middle, trying to push past the half-man, half-serpent, but the other guy grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back. He was made to look up at the stranger, made to meet his eyes.

"What's the matter, hmm? Afraid that you'll be outshined already?"

"I told you. Let me go..."

"Hmmph. Fine. But you and I aren't done talking yet. I'm -"

"I don't care about your name!"

Finally fed up, he shoved the naga with everything he had...which turned out to be quite a bit. The snake-man stumbled backwards, falling head over heels into the crowd behind him, and that long snake-tail whipped about as he hit the ground. By the time that whoever he was got back to his feet, David was already out of sight. All for the better, too; some of the other teachers were starting to get hazy, glazed-over eyes as the transformation took them further down the road to something more lustful, more...eager.

Shaking his head, he pulled his door open and stepped inside, locking it behind him. It wasn't much of a barrier to the already-growing noise of sex and more in the public space behind him, but it was better than nothing. Better than seeing it and being drawn into it.

This is messed up. This is so messed up.

There had to be a way out of this. There had to be. If he could just get some sort of information on how this worked, how he could...

It was so hard to think, though. Even now, even though he was already more than slightly disgusted by his new body and wondered how anyone could be aroused by their own, he could feel a dull heat rising, a temptation that burned between his legs. He could reach down and indulge -

No, no, that was how this started. That was what got you turned a bit already...

And it was how he had managed to turn further, how the teeth had come in, how his eyes had darkened. If sex was a trigger, then he needed to abstain for a while, just to give himself some time to think, to be better. Just...just a little while.

He sat down as the thumps and groans from outside got louder, trying to tune them out. His misformed cock shifted and throbbed in his pants, feeling bigger than it had been. It might be; he hadn't gone through the effort of checking it after he'd had his fun with Laticia, or after she'd had her fun with him. Whichever it was. It was hard to tell, hard to think.

Ring ring.

Oh, no...

Ring ring.

Ring ring.

He fumbled for his phone, staring at the screen. It was Juan. Perfectly piss-poor timing, too. He looked at the door out, then ran for the far end of the dorm, hoping that the extra space would keep the 'party' sounds down. No need to freak him out.

"Hello?" he said as he stepped into his bedroom.

"Oh, glad I caught you, hon. How are you?"

"Um...alright."

"That bad, huh?"

Yes, but no, but yes.

"No, no, just a little busy at the moment," he lied, shaking his head as he covered his forehead. Fuck, what the hell did he say about this? Did he say anything? What about the NDA? Would that affect him if he tried to talk? "Just, you know, settling in, keeping busy, trying to make everything fit in."

"I guess that's not much of a surprise. How are the other teachers there?"

"Um...." He looked down the hallway. "Rambunctious."

"Heh, that's good. They'll keep you on your toes when I can't get up there to see you."

"...Get up here to see me?"

"You didn't think that I'd be making you come down to see me all the time, did you? I'm booking a hotel up there a few days from now, so you can give me the tour."

"What? You - you -"

David coughed, though not from any great blockage. No, it was more the fact that his voice had just dropped. Not just a little bit, either, but by a full octave. He gripped his throat, coughing again.

"David? Are you okay?"

"Gotta...gotta go. Sorry, love you."

It was the worst way to get off the phone in a non-conspicuous fashion, but it was a lie he couldn't keep going. His voice had dropped again just there, and he could only hope that Juan put it down to some sort of interference on the phone signal rather than anything more serious. Shaking his head, he stared at his phone and just wanted to cry, even though the rest of his body burned with a lust that he really, really didn't like.

#

A few hours later, he left his bedroom again. He needed something to eat, and according to his contract, the cafeteria was open and waiting to serve those that were working on-staff. David had barely made it through his door before the hissing passage of that snake-man caught his ears again.

"So, the little coward emerges from his room again."

Gritting his teeth, David slowly turned around. The naga approached him with a slow slither, but it was nonetheless a relentless movement, something that was made worse with the obvious sexuality of his movements. His slit down below his waist was slightly parted, the tips of a double-penis pushed through. He looked up again, half-afraid to meet the naga's eyes at first, but a second glance confirmed that there were no colors, nothing to be concerned about there. Just eyes, not hypnosis. Just eyes, not hypnosis, he reminded himself.

The naga smiled down at him.

"My name is Benjamin Kendall. Harvard-educated, of course. And, I believe, working above you. Mathematics?"

David nodded.

"That's what I thought. Myself, as well, though I am working further up than you. Theoretical Physics, and yourself?"

"..."

"That's what I thought. Probably someone educated at something far lower than myself. I hope that you understand your place in the pecking order, little...whatever you are. A shark, it seems, though -"

"Shut up."

"...I'm sorry, did you just try and tell me what to do?"

"I did, and I'll do it again. Shut. The fuck. Up." David glared at the up-himself serpent-man, looking through Benjamin's blond hair at those blue eyes, and he snarled, showing his teeth. "I am here because I got a job, same as you. You want to try and lord yourself over others, go ahead. Try it. But I'm not going to let you do that to me."

"You better watch yourself. There is a hierarchy around here."

"Uh-huh? Tell me, how'd it feel to watch your dicks divide themselves in two? Hardest math problem you ever did?"

That got a reaction. Benjamin lunged for him, hissing and showing his fangs for the first time. David braced himself, fists up -

But he didn't need to use them. Without warning, a furred figure taller than him and thicker in every place than either he or Benjamin stood between them, one paw on the snake-man, one on David, keeping them out of arm's reach from one another.

"Stop it. Both of you."

And the new guy could growl. That voice went so deep that he could feel it through the floor, and the hand on his chest all but vibrated with it. He stood down, cowed almost immediately, and Benjamin did the same. The naga hissed under his breath one last time, then turned, slithering off. Shaking his head, David looked up at his rescuer.

And up.

And up.

He didn't have to look quite so far up as he had with Rhea, but the werewolf - a genuine fucking werewolf, he could still hardly believe it - stood over him, looming at just past seven feet, and with thick brown fur covering almost his entire body. A bit of human-ish hair popped out of his head, but that was the extent of it. The big dog shook his head a few times, watching Benjamin leave before looking down to meet David's eyes.

"New guy, huh?"

"...Yeah. David."

"Noam. Come on."

They took the short walk to the cafeteria, picked up a couple of burgers, then found an out of the way bench to sit down at and talk. David appreciated the food almost as much as the company; he'd been more hungry than he realized, near starving, and the feeling of getting some meat down his throat and into his guts did him no end of good. He munched away, while Noam took his time to nibble a little more daintily. More daintily than he had expected a werewolf to be capable of, quite honestly.

As he reached the halfway point, Noam sighed, shaking his head.

"Okay. I was trying to figure out a good way to say this, but..."

"...But what?" David asked.

"...Okay. H.R. hates me already, so cards on the table. I think you should get while the getting is good."

David all but pulled a spit-take right then and there, splattering the ground with the remnants of a burger bite. He coughed, rubbing his mouth.

"...Wanna try that again?" David asked.

"You should go while you still can."

"Not like I can hide this, you know," he said, holding up his arm, letting the webbing show more than it had. "They don't make gloves for this."

"There's custom orders. Trust me, the way that you are, you could probably hide it...and it might be better than sticking around. The change will get worse the longer that you stay here; it's part of what they do to protect the students."

"...It gets worse?"

"At a guess? Those bumps on your shoulders and back are going to pop out as tentacles, not fins. And I wouldn't be surprised if you get a full tail before the week is out."

"..."

"They can't keep you from leaving. But they can shame you, make you scared, keep you here. The NDA keeps you from talking, but Isabelle and the others are more focused on just keeping everyone locked down here."

"..." David rubbed his forehead, putting the rest of his food down. He crossed his arms, looking up at the skies. "I had a life, you know."

"Most people do, before coming here."

"And a boyfriend."

"...That's the harder one."

"Yeah. No kidding."

"...He's going to find out, you know. Unless you break up with him before he sees you, he's going to find out."

"..."

"I don't know. I think you should leave, find out if he's one of the monster-fuckers out there."

"WHAT?! What the hell are you calling -"

"Hey, I'm just saying," Noam said, holding up his hands in a 'calm down' gesture. "There's a reason that there's a lot of werewolf and vampire erotica out there right now. Sometimes, people have more open minds than you think. But you'd never know if you didn't ask, would you?"

"...I guess not..."

Still, it didn't leave him feeling good about it. Particularly when he imagined what Juan would say with the new, freaky dick...and the sharper teeth...and the eyes that he was all but sure would scare the living hell out of his boyfriend, at this point.

Why did things have to be so complicated?

"But if you need time to think about it, I'd suggest not giving in to any sexual urges," Noam said. "The more that you fuck around, the more the monster-side starts to take over, and the more that you transform. Though...you might have figured that out already."

"Yeah...I did. But...does it come out, regardless?" he asked.

"...Slower, but yes."

"...Then I'm fucked, either way. Aren't I?"

"Pretty much."

That was what he was afraid of. David rubbed his forehead, already feeling that sex-hunger-instinct pushing up again. He'd managed to ignore it for a few hours when he was back at the dorm, but now that he was here, alone again with someone else - and someone that had been nice to him, for that matter - it was hard for him to completely push it back down.

Particularly with that throbbing sheath just barely visible through Noam's pants. Very much an eye-catcher...

And a hand-puller...

And a mouth-waterer...

"David. Do you want it right now? Are you sure?" Noam's voice asked, coming from a far distance.

"...I...Mmmph..."

"Alright...alright...come here."

The End

Summary: David has a rather hard time dealing with his new reality, and is trying his best to make it work, but there's so many problems, so many little things that he can't entirely understand.
