Yeah this is the true ending not counting the movie plot or crossovers.

Artemis can be seen in his room putting a bunch of things into a yellow journal as he is recounting the memories of the whole series up until this point, and that there was a long road ahead for his future to become reality. He also had some space in the journal leftover and was confused to write in it but he put his journal into his desk drawer and left his bedroom. Flashbacks of the good and bad parts of the whole series up until this point, with a very bright future ahead with one more road block, and a new group of magic user's outlines can be seen behind this road block, unknown to be a person or an actual wall.
