#2 of Ink and Existence

Another tale between a strange cat and an odd fox talking about what it means to exist.

Dinger belongs to @dragonweirdnsfw

Dreams did not come but the morning did, as it always does. Dinger woke up early, early enough that the sun was just coming up, light barely filtering into the room. Odd. Typically, when she woke up it was as something more formless, and with her thoughts less clear. She remembered taking a shower the other night, remembered being told she could stay over if she'd like to have a home for a bit. The notion of a home was an odd one, but the warmth of the invite had convinced her to at least get in bed with the fox. Part of her had expected to fade while she slept, to cease to exist and simply float away to another place, and yet, here she was. Dinger eased the covers off of her body and looked down to see she still held onto a shape. Arms, legs, breasts, and even a bit of pudge here and there. She was still made of some sort of ink-like substance but her existence remained intact. Dinger looked to her side to see that Wel was there, mostly covered and sleeping. It wasn't their active thoughts that were forming who she was, so maybe it had something to do with the memories of the previous night and their words, or perhaps it was their dreams. She drew her knees up until she looked like nothing more than a blob with a feline head, her arms tucked around her legs to add to the effect while she hummed. While it didn't necessarily bother her that she existed, it did seem strange that she was doing so primarily on her own thoughts. Whether she did or didn't exist had always been a matter of others' perspectives but now she had to consider that her own had an existence of its own in mind. With how she was, she could probably live however she wanted, wherever and whenever, but then again, what did she want? That was an even stranger thing to consider. The odd feline tilted her head from side to side while her green eyes blinked in and out of existence. Maybe she could ask Wel about what she wanted, but then again, that seemed like it might grind against the point of what she was trying to figure out. They'd probably tell her that she could just decide that on her own. Annoying. All of these possibilities and yet, she no hints, no clues, and for once she genuinely found it annoying. Her ears folded and something odd began to happen. It felt like her entire being was tugged down toward the bed until her forehead met her knees. Perhaps, she was thinking too much about it. That didn't stop her from continuing to think. More and more thoughts came to her. Where she could go, what she could do, what could she be if she had to decide herself. When did she exist, and when was she simply fitting the mold of perspective given to her. That weight continued growing in her until she heard a shuffling at her side along with a familiar voice.

"Dinger? You okay there?"

The voice was followed by a touch at her shoulder, the warm grip taking a bit of the weight off of her body as she opened an eye to see Wel sitting up. Her response came after a moment of thought, "Hm, I think so, or rather, I'm a bit odd. I keep thinking about how I shouldn't have existed while you were asleep, how I should have simply been formless, but the memories that I made are still there. I guess, those memories are strong enough that I find myself in this same form. Not only that, but your words about my existence. It's put a lot of questions in me and I'm not sure where to go from there, because I don't know what I want."

Wel sniffed, moving to sit next to her while their arm around her shifted from her shoulder to her side, "That's part of it too, I guess. Existing, I mean. A lot of time I don't know what I'm going to do or where I'm going. For the longest time, I didn't think I'd be here, and yet, here I am. Thinking about it is fine, but it seems to me that you were obsessing over it. Can't imagine that's too healthy."

Dinger leaned back against their touch, ears perking and head looking up as she sighed, "Never had to worry about this as a weird cryptid. Now I'm thinking about whether or not I should open a bookstore. Though, part of me believes that is partially your fault. I am what I experience and what others experience, if I weigh my own perspective over others, then I can only possibly be what I have been through. Except, existence is more than just experience, or else I might not have had any of these conversations." She then sighed and laid her legs flat on the bed, drooping against Wel while groaning, "Maybe you're right. Obsessing over these things isn't healthy."

The fox chuckled and planted a peck on her head, "Sometimes, you have to take a break, and speaking of breaks, want breakfast?"

"Shouldn't I be paying you for that?" Asked Dinger with a tilt of her head.

Wel shrugged, "Eh, no need."

She thought of that for a moment before sniffing, "Last night, I remember you looked so tired and maybe a bit upset. When I gave you your key, that didn't change even though you were smiling."

A pause came in the conversation as Wel looked up at the ceiling, "Hm, I guess, the best way I can explain is like this; I might have a good home, and my business keeps me afloat, but I worry far too much. Last night I got a good bit of sleep, but there are many times that doesn't happen. The past is something that continues to stick onto me, and though my perspective changes day by day, it doesn't necessarily erase what has happened. The ink on me is partially proof of that."

Dinger had been feeling bad for herself, but she had not been considering Wel. She watched them now as she had last night, eyes glinting as the fox's features were studied. They smiled, but it was a small thing tugging at the corner of their mouth, and there was something about their eyes that looked more pained than tired and groggy from having just woken up. Dinger had existed off and on with a few memories, but Wel had been here in a solid state of being without shift, or change, or break from whoever they were, or whoever they were forced to be. She had a feeling that there was something in their past that had pushed them to be a certain way, that kept them in that shape and it was only recently that they were breaking free. Dinger tried to imagine that, tried to think about how that would be, but instead of obsessing over that line of thinking, she wrapped her arms around Wel and squeezed.

When they looked at her, she brought her mouth over theirs for a few seconds before pulling away with a smile, "Thank you for giving me a new perspective. I think I can manage now. Actually, I might need to study others for a bit, but if I'm like this then I at least feel confident that I can move forward."

Wel blinked, "I'm glad you think so."

"Yup! So I'll think I'll stick around for a bit, watching what you do and how you interact. Don't mind me, I'll basically be your shadow for a month or more." Said the odd feline with a big smile.

The fox snorted at that one, "A month or more? And what's in it for me?"

While they had said they didn't need money, Dinger hadn't originally stated she would be staying for a month or even more. She could understand why Wel would change their mind on wanting some sort of compensation but she didn't have any money. Dinger hummed while looking down, thinking for a few seconds before the answer appeared as a tent pitched between the fox's legs and just under the covers.

Her hand reached underneath the covers and clutched onto their shaft as she looked at the fox with a smile, and purred, "I don't have money but I can be your toy for my stay."

Wel shivered and muttered, "I was joking, but if you're putting up your body for offer, then who am I to say no?"

Their lips met again for a firmer kiss, one that practically sent sparks down her back as she found herself tipping over from the force they were putting into it. Her hand kept moving as she closed her eyes and sunk to the kiss, the heat pulsing against her digits hotter than the tongue dipping into her mouth. Dinger's thoughts, her concerns, her questions, and more melted away one by one in this experience that had always left a mark on her. It somehow felt richer with her own involvement, with her own perspective playing a part instead of whoever she was with. She savored the feeling of their mouth hungrily capturing her own, she loved the bounce of their shaft in her hand, and cherished the thought that this would remain as a lasting memory with her that would color her existence. That was it, wasn't it? Her memories, her experiences, what she said and did, these things collected made her up her existence, who she was, and perhaps, perhaps there was even more to consider.

These thoughts came to her and were neatly cataloged and brushed aside for later as she focused on the present. The present was sweet with a hint of something spicy that threatened to turn her mind to mush.

A hand moved to her chest to squeeze her breasts, two digits closing over one of her nipples to tug while the kiss continued. It was at this point that Wel began thrusting to her touch, that she felt pre begin dripping onto her hand. Their lips finally parted, her hand stopping as she breathed out, "Where do you want to cum, master?"

Wel sniffed, "You don't have to call me that, and hm, surprise me."

Despite the assertion, she could feel their shaft bounce against her hand when she had called them master. Wondering what she could do for them. Her ears twitched and a wide smile cut across her features. She let go of their shaft for now and moved the covers aside to place herself between their legs, the fox's canine shaft resting snugly between her breasts. Dinger knew that they enjoyed a nice rear and legs more than they did tits, but at the same time, the reaction of that twitching shaft against her chest certainly wasn't complaining. She pressed onto her chest from one side, dragging her breast up and down over their shaft while looking at their reaction. There was a small measure of surprise, perhaps because they hadn't expected it to be so soft. After all, she came pre-lubed because of the substance of her form. That was right! She didn't simply have to remain solid, she could allow herself to melt just a little bit. Her body seemed to drip just a bit as Wel's cock sunk against the near liquid softness of her chest, her hand moving a bit faster and in circles to work their cock. At the same time, her tail swished back and forth, the reactions that Wel displayed just as interesting as the anticipation of what was about to happen. Every movement of her chest on that twitching shaft produced another heated throb, another swell of the base that let her know that they were inching closer and closer to a climax. She kept on moving her chest until she felt the first shot. It oozed between her tits, her body trembling as the warmth built up before a thick line of the substance fired from between her breasts staining her face, her eye shut as she watched with glee the results of her game.

"Guess this means I did a good job." She said with her tongue stuck out.

Wel answered her tease by placing a hand on her head, voice coming out in a near purr, "Yeah you did. Now come on. Get showered, get dressed. We're going to run the store, you and I."

Dinger tilted her head, "Huh? Is that also part of my payment?"

The fox chuckled, "Nope. It is part of the learning experience. You'll get to interact with more folk if you're up at the front dealing with customers. My clientele aren't too rowdy so it should be fine. You can borrow one of my ponchos if you don't want to wear your clothes from last night."

She watched Wel as they got up and headed around to the bathroom door and as they opened it, she asked, "Wel? Why are you being so nice to me? Aren't I a freeloader?"

They rubbed their chin and sniffed, "I suppose I prefer to call you a companion. A lost one at that but not to worry, you'll find your way."

Again she found herself considering Wel odder than herself, but she didn't mind too much. For now, she would follow their lead curious to see where it took her. A relaxing shower was had before Wel made breakfast. Food tasted better than she remembered, and perhaps that was a result of simply being in good company, or simply being more solid in her existence than she had ever been. She did as instructed and plucked out one of Wel's ponchos, a deep blue that covered her body nicely. While her curiosity and excitement were near peaking, Wel seemed relaxed. Every task was done with a certain calm that she had not yet seen from the fox. It was clear, as they went down the stairs to the store floor, that this was something typical for them, but Wel seemed to enjoy it instead of considering it mundane. The floors were swept, the shelves were stocked when they were empty and the sign at the front was flipped to open to show that the bookstore was ready for customers.

Dinger was brought to the front where she was told how to handle the register, and for that matter, how to handle customers. Just as they finished the explanation, a customer came in and a rather dapper-looking one at that. It was a crane of sorts wearing a tailcoat and sporting a bright smile, wings out as they approached the front counter.

"Wel my dear fox! Darling, ink-drop, sugar honey bambino. Please tell me you have what I ordered last night? Please sing to me the song of your victory?" The crane asked with such a loudness that Dinger ducked a bit expecting an attack.

To their credit, Wel only chuckled and reached beneath the counter. They pulled out a dusty old tome and set it gingerly atop the counter. While the crane gasped, Wel spoke, "Good morning to you too, Thal. I have your rare book."

The eccentric crane slapped down a bag of coin on the counter and called aloud, "Fantastic! Take your payment, keep whatever is there, keep the pouch too! Ohoho, this little thing will absolutely thrill my sweet partner so interested in history and the mystic arts!"

Wel snorted, "Just remember to be gentle with it."

Thal took the tome gingerly and was in the middle of saying how he would do just that before he seemed to notice Dinger for the first time, "Oh, I'm sorry. How rude of me not to say hello to your new employee!" He then inclined his head and trilled, "I am Thalfantus the fourth. Restorer of lost artifacts, and the arts.

Dinger blinked, "Uh hello, my name is Dinger."

"Dinger! A good name! Bit odd, but I'm not one to squawk. Now, just remember that just because they're your boss doesn't mean you have to put up with them being annoying."

"Thal..." Wel snorted.

"They might be devilishly attractive at times but be careful, they're truly a beast in bed and aren't as sweet as you might think!" Said the bird with a wink.

She found herself tickled and had to chuckle while bringing a hand to her mouth, "Thank you, but I think I already know that."

Thal brought a wing over his head and sighed deeply, "Another innocent soul, so beautiful, so precious, corrupted by the monstrous fox and their fantastic cock! I can't stand the sight, no, I shan't!"

Wel picked up the pouch of coin and counted them while Thal continued before finally saying with a smile, "You know, I'm not against plucking a few feathers for quills."

"And thus, I leave! With my feathers intact and with an annoyed fox who will hopefully get back at me in some manner!" Said the bird with the tips of his feathered digits at his chest, "Bye, bye Dinger, have a good day!"

And with that, he left. Dinger watched the strutting crane leave before looking toward Wel, "What a draining but interesting experience."

The fox chuckled, "That's Thal. An interesting friend but at times a bit draining, all in all though, I like being around him. He's overly positive and can have trouble getting back up when he's knocked down but he's full of ideas and has such a magnetic passion."

"I see." Dinger hummed while rocking back and forth, "Will we have to deal with many like him?"

Wel grinned, "Thankfully, no."

With that said, Dinger spent her time at the front counter learning that there was a variety of local existences that enjoyed ink and books. They all had their reasons for coming. Some simply wanted recreational novels, or a pot of cursed ink that would make the bed life just a bit more fun. Meanwhile, there were others who were curious about the property of Wel's ink and bought it for studying. In the same light, there were those that asked Wel for special books or objects that the fox had managed to seek out. Each had their own personality, own voice, and mode of conversation. Lunch was had before they continued with work, continued stocking shelves, and continued seeing more folk up at the front. Wel continued talking to her about the various folk that visited, even while customers were still in the store, talking about their own thoughts. Even a few customers got in on the conversation and Dinger found herself soon openly commenting, as well as asking for more information. Her curiosities were answered and her mind was awash in new experiences that did not control who she was, rather, they informed her of a set of perspectives she had not before seen.

When the night began to fall and the time came to flip the sign to closed, Dinger did it herself while breathing out, "That was interesting. So many creeds. So many feelings and thoughts. It was hard not to get swallowed by them all and become something different." She then turned to the front counter and Wel with a smile, "There was also a lot of warmth, a lot of amorous folk sneaking behind shelves to have their fun while reading. Do you really not mind that?"

Wel chuckled, "The store is in part a smut shop selling books for all sorts, and ink that has special effects. There are times when I've been paid to join and it has been fun."

Dinger blinked, "Really? Should I offer myself to the customers then? I know some of them were certainly looking at me hungrily enough."

"Only if you want. If you don't, then there is no need." Said the fox while rubbing their chin.

The smile on her features grew as she sunk to the ground, slipping out of what she was wearing before reforming next to the poncho, catching out of the air between two digits, "I could be experiencing much more if I walked around like this. I'd also be able to pay you properly, master."

Wel cleared their throat, "Figured I told you not to call me that, and besides, you don't have to pay me anything."

She began walking toward the front step by step, her hips swaying while her tail swished from side to side, mischief coloring her gaze, "Wouldn't it be more fun that way? Unless, you want to keep me all to yourself master? Are you that greedy?"

"Greedy?" Snorted Wel, "If you want to sell yourself here for my benefit, then go ahead so long as you're having fun."

A spot of color formed on Wel's cheeks, a little sign that her teasing was working. Maybe she could push just a bit more and so she purred while she got to the front, "Really? You don't want to bind me to your will? To your existence? You don't want to bend me over every day and show your customers that you have a new pet? Y'know, I like scarves but a collar might be nice too!"

Wel stared at her for a few seconds and muttered as she set the poncho on the counter, "You're playing with fire Dinger."

She looked at them for a moment before giggling, "Sorry, sorry! I think you are affecting me. I'm mischievous but not this loud, not this dangerous. I know you could even do those things to me if you wanted to but you don't, and I appreciate that, though...It would be an interesting new experience."

Dinger quirked a brow at Wel who simply crossed their arms and snorted, "Maybe I have rubbed off a bit too much on you." They then snickered, "And I guess because of that I have to teach you some discipline. Come on around and we'll have a bit of fun before we retire for the night."

The odd feline beamed before hopping over the counter, landing just as Wel tossed their own poncho onto the one she had been wearing. Before she could ask what they had in mind, her body was bent forward and over onto the counter so her breasts squished against the wood, her rear hiked into the air by the tail. She thought Wel would be rough with her, thoughts circling about how they could use their magic to bind her as well. Such extra thoughts brought a shiver to her back. Their digits moved from her tail to grab onto her rear, squeezing tight and spreading until she felt a tongue at her slit. Surprise touched her expression that soon melted to purring pleasure as Wel's tongue graced her pussy, passing up and down before dipping inside while a thumb pushed against the folds. This time, Wel's movements were surprisingly gentle, held back with long and drawn-out motions that dipped in deep, but did not hold the same hunger as had been the case last night. They took their sweet time with it, letting their tongue twist and circle around inside of her cunt before pulling back out to lap at the surface quietly. She couldn't help but dig her claws into the counter, couldn't help but sigh and mewl in pleasure. A squeak came out of her mouth as her rear was suddenly swatted, sending a ripple through her. She looked back to see Wel looking at her with a small smirk before they kept moving their tongue, returned to that same softness, until she saw their hand come up and then down on her rear. Wel repeated this motion several times while continuing to drag their tongue inside of her. The pain was nothing but a momentary sting, a reminder of the fact that this was supposed to be a punishment, but even that melted together with the pleasure to make something beautiful that she craved. Another new experience to take into consideration.

Wel eventually stopped licking and grabbed onto her thighs as they got up. Their digits then slid up to her rear, one set moving around and down to push a thumb against her warm slit while the other came off of her ass before crashing down again. She winced but then trembled as she felt two digits slide inside of her, Wel's head peeking next to hers. Dinger opened her mouth to crack a witty retort but mewled and jolted forward as she felt Wel's hand strike her rear again. The ripple it sent through her reminded her that she should think before she spoke, but also, she thought of what fun it was to be a menace. The digits inside of her encouraged that mischief further, each push, each thrust of them inside of her bringing her forward just a bit until she had to hang her head and pant. Her eyes closed, her legs clamping shut on their hand as she felt herself getting closer and closer to a climax, but at the same time, Wel's swatting began to pick up.

Each of her rear cheeks was given a few swats before the attention turned to the digits inside of her. A third was added and all together they stretched causing her to groan and shudder. A little bit more, a little bit more and she would hit the right spot, but as she felt herself so close, Wel stopped and gave her rear a few more swats. Their mouth moved along her shoulder, kissing up to the ear where they breathed out.

"Gonna be good?" As they spoke, their fingers pulled out of her one by one leaving her at the edge and without anything to grind against.

Dinger breathed out while clutching onto the edges of the counter, "Now why would I do that?"

Two swats struck both of her rear cheeks, Wel grabbing onto her ass afterward to spread and knead it while she felt the tip of their canine shaft prodding against her outer folds, "Because, if you're not a good kitten, I could just walk away."

She blinked and looked back with a frown, "You wouldn't! It isn't in your nature. How could you pass up a willing hole to breed and break?"

Wel shrugged and fixed her with a sharp smirk, "I am more than my instinct, more than the nature within me and you should know that by now. The same goes for you, or anyone else."

Dinger sniffed and folded her arms, setting her chin atop of them while speaking, "I could just slip out and fade away. Become something else, another place, another time."

"Oh, but you wouldn't do that." Came the fox's retort with a chuckle.

Cursing mentally, Dinger attempted to continue her bluff, "Really? And why do you think that?"

Her ears and tail raised high as she felt Wel's shaft grinding against her slit, felt their hand sliding around her body to grab onto her chest, their breath at her ear as they rumbled, "Because why would you leave your master? Why would you stop such a sweet experience just to drift off into nothingness? Is that what you really want?"

The first sentence had her back shivering. She could feel Wel's intent and will within the words vibrating through her before that presence pulled away. Wel did not force their intent on her and more than that, she felt more aware of it than usual. Dinger couldn't tell whether this shift was a result of who she was around, or if it was her memories keeping her rooted in this reality. Regardless, she found herself dizzied by the experience, her body pulsing need from between her legs to remind her of what she desired.

Both of her hands moved back to take hold of her rear, spreading as she muttered, "I'll be good master, so please fuck me."

Wel chuckled, easing the tip of their shaft inside before wrapping their arm around her waist, "Good kitten."

With that said, the fox began to ease themselves inside, inch by inch pushing in her until they started moving properly. Each thrust brought a few more inches inside of her, each push jolting her forward as the strength they used grew in intensity. The hand at her chest squeezed just a bit, digits pressing around the nipples while their mouth pecked at her neck. She turned her head enough to meet their lips with a mewl, their mouths melding together while the hand at her chest drifted up to her cheek. The warmth blossoming through her was nearly enough to send her over that edge she had been teetering over, the constant grinding within her adding to the pressure of the act until her form shook and melted just a bit. Dinger's insides tightened, her eyes closing as she dipped further to the kiss while she felt her climax rocking her form. Wel continued to thrust, continued to pound her insides until she felt their knot prodding at her entrance. This time, they didn't ask whether they could cum inside of her or not. Wel simply drove their entire length inside of her, tying them together with a wet pop.

The fox growled as hot cum began to stain her insides, her existence. Their kiss parted with a collective gasp, her forehead touching the counter as she groaned, and as Wel continued to pump her full of seed. Her hand clutched her fattening belly, her body taking in the virile substance with ease while her legs shook. Spent, Wel placed a hand on her back and she heard the start of a word or two, but they both froze, ears high as the door opened.

"Excuse me?" Came a voice, "I wanted to see if my order was in? I saw the lights were on and--." And then the reaction, "Oh...Oh goodness, I can come back later!"

Wel put their arm on Dinger's back and leaned forward, one leg up as they reclined on her causing her both to feel incredibly embarrassed, and to struggle not to laugh at the situation, "Please, come inside, I'm sure I can get your order from here."

And so they dealt with the customer tied together while Dinger swore her entire body might as well have been red instead of the usual inky black. Her arms had faded into herself and her face was firmly planted on the counter. This embarrassment wasn't her own. It was something entirely fabricated from the reaction of the customer, but more than that, when she brushed it aside she found her own experiences, her own perspective bubbling beneath. Yes, she still found herself wishing to disappear but at the same time, it had been exciting. She could have even done a bit more mischief. That's right. With more control of herself, she could cause more mischief and have more fun.

Dinger brought her head up, her arms coming free as she spoke, "There are so many things that I want to do, that I want to be able to control. If I keep existing, then I can keep playing these fun games, I can keep on figuring out ways to make this existence more interesting! For me, and for others!"

Wel looked down at her while she looked up at them, their brow quirked, her tail swishing from side to side batting against their waist. Finally, Wel said with a small smile, "I suppose that's a good thing. So long as you stick around, I'll have you. Now then, c'mon, we should get some dinner and head to bed. Tomorrow will be a day for an errand or two, and then relaxation."

She squeaked when they tugged the knot out of her pussy. Wel then brought her up onto her feet, one arm around her waist to keep her secure. Dinger beamed at them before grabbing their clothes and following Wel up the steps and into their home. More experiences awaited tomorrow. For now, a break to process and collect.
