Kion and Reirei have plans for their future as mates.
Reirei: *smiling* Kion. I want to have cubs with you. I want to have a family with you. And I'm ready, if you want.
Kion: Let's do it.
Maalum keeps worrying about Kion and Rani a lot.
Maalum: I'm happy you decided to choose me as your king and your only mate. But... you sure you don't want Kion back?
Rani: He has been absent for a while now and you have always been by my side.
Maalum: I understand that. *nuzzles her* And you know you can count on me for everything, my queen.
Rani: *nuzzles back* Thanks.
Kion tries to show Maalum how much the hybrid means to him.
Kion: Maalum. You're the love of my life. So I wanted to ask you... *blushes heavily*
Maalum: Yes?! *blushing*
Kion: Will you marry me?
Maalum: Wha-What did you say?! *surprised, mix of emotions*
One night, Maalum wakes up with an evil smile and walks over Kion, who's still sleeping. Maalum lowers his head close to Kion's ear and whispers.
Maalum: You will pay for what you did.
The hybrid is ready to scratch Kion's neck with his claws, but then...
Maalum: No. Not yet. First I need you to suffer.
Maalum seems to be different and he has something planned for Reirei.
Maalum: I will kill Kion and Rani and then you will be my queen. We can rule the Tree Of Life together.
Reirei: You can't do that!!
Maalum: I am the king! I can do everything! *mad*
At Cikha Escarpment, Kion hears the Roar and looks up.
Kion: HEVI KABISA!
A big rock is floating over him and starts falling in his direction.
Later, inside the tree, Kijana and Maalum start fighting while Kion goes outside, weak. Once outside, he hears Kijana screaming.
Kijana: Aaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!
Kion: Oh no...
Someone will return to the Tree Of Life.
Kion and Chuluun are out of the kingdom. They hear a sound behind a big rock.
Kion: Someone's there.
Chuluun: Let's see who's there.
Kion goes to the right, Chuluun goes to the left. They both are ready to jump in front of the mysterious character.
Kion: *whispering* Ready?
She nods.
Kion: *still whispering* 3. 2. 1.
They both jump.
Makucha: Aaaah! Kion! Chuluun! It's me!
Kion and Chuluun: *surprised* Makucha?!
A young jackal will face Kion.
Goya: I don't trust you, Kion.
Kion: Listen, I know I had a rough past with the pack, but I trust Reirei and she trusts me.
Goya: You only bring us danger. I can't trust you. And my mother is wrong about you. You should stay away from us. Especially from my mother. I don't want her to suffer again. Let me tell you something. If you hurt her, I will make you pay. *serious face*
Kion and Maalum have another argument.
Kion: You're still my number one.
Maalum: Now I am your number zero. Because we're over! *upset* Forget me, because I will try to do the same.
Kion: Fine. If you won't trust me, then I'll leave the Tree of Life.
Kion kisses Reirei. Maalum arrives at the farm and sees them breaking the kiss.
Makini: Now you are officially married. *smiling*
Kion smiles.
Maalum: No. *sits down, starting to cry*
