Corporate Obstacles
Part 1
For Catsithx
By Draconicon
A year had passed since Kain had married Nei and Azuel, and aside from getting more stamina from fucking the two of them day in and day out, the black cat really didn't know if he had changed in the slightest from the man that he'd been when his father died and he'd taken over the company in the old man's stead. Certainly, he didn't feel any different, and he sure as hell didn't think that he was any better than he had been during that time, but at the same time...
Well, there was something to the fact that he had two women that were head over heels for him, and every time that he saw Nei's swaying five tails or Azuel's flared out wings, he knew that there was another round of 'fun' coming up.
I swear, my balls are going to kill me one of these days, the cat thought as he rode the elevator down from the main office. If it wasn't for Ramses feeding me potions and medicines, they would have gone dry long ago. And the fact that they still want more...
The black cat whimpered softly, something that he bet that his various company officers never would have done in his same position. He knew that he was a wimp, that he was whipped by his wives, and he knew, moreover, that the various men and women in his company knew that. There were very few secrets in The Magical Mundane, and he knew that his were far from sacred.
Rubbing the back of his head as the elevator doors open, he put on his business face. It wasn't much more than a neutral expression that was just barely more than his exasperated, tired feelings, but it was, at least, more socially acceptable than a whipped cat that was going home to be whipped some more. He groaned at the thought, knowing that was probably what was waiting for him when he got home.
They've been talking about a surprise all week. What the heck could they be thinking about?
He didn't know, and that was the scary part. They were never good with letting him rest, and if their idea of a surprise was to give him a harder than usual rut when he got home, he knew that he wasn't going to be able to take it. Both girls had ambushed him at lunch for a quickie - Azuel with vaginal, Nei with oral - and he had been barely able to satisfy the both of them before he was due back at his office. He was tired, really tired.
Not that they'll care, he thought with a groan. No, no, they do care about you, it's just...
He still didn't know what in the hell he was going to do. Ramses said that he'd eventually grow into the role of being the head of the company and having two wives, but the jackal had never exactly done much to explain how or why that sort of thing would happen. He grumbled under his breath, walking out of the lobby of the company building with his shoulders hunched and his briefcase clenched in his fist.
A limo waited for him at the bottom of the steps, and thankfully, Ramses was in there waiting for him. His mother's assistant, and now his, the jackal waved him in and flicked a finger to close the door as soon as he was in the vehicle.
"You're a lot more free with the magic ever since you told me your past," the black cat muttered, leaning his head back as the limo drove off. "Anything else that you're hiding from me?"
"Not at the moment, sir."
"Hmmmph. But in the past?"
"That's for the future, sir."
"Of course it is."
Sighing, the black cat rubbed his hands over his eyes, trying to focus on the now rather than the immediate future. He'd done good at the office, at least, and he was starting to find his way. He was making more and more of the actual decisions for The Magical Mundane, not needing his wives around for as many of the meetings anymore. Oh, they were still good for muscle, and he still discussed all the business deals with them, but he didn't need them there to tell him how to decide things anymore.
It was a step forward. He just wished that it hadn't taken him a year to get there.
Rubbing his forehead a few times in a vain attempt to get rid of the exhaustion that was trying to take hold, the cat leaned his head back further, almost sliding forward in his chair as he shifted position.
"Nnnngh. When does it get easier, Ramses?"
"I would say a couple more months, sir," the jackal said, looking down at his watch. "If I do not mistake things, I imagine that you are due some good luck within a few more weeks, for that matter. Perhaps a little bit of it tonight."
"I'd take anything."
"Well, you have been 'getting lucky' by the standards of your company for a while."
"Heh...if they knew what I had to go through to keep those women happy..."
Ostensibly, they were there for him to enjoy however he liked, and from what the jackal had told him, the women were more than ready to obey him, to give in and let him do whatever he wanted them to. However, he had to find that assertiveness for himself, as they weren't going to just roll over and let him do it without him at least starting it.
That was the hard part. Well, almost the impossible part, if he was honest. He hadn't done it this year, and he wasn't sure if he'd be able to change at any point to do it properly.
He supposed that it was something that would happen if it happened, and that was all there was to it.
Pulling his hands down, he sat up straight in his seat again, looking out the window at the passing city. There were days when he really missed the past, when he didn't have anything but an allowance from his father that kept him going, when he was just one more person that was 'normal' in this city of the magical and the mundane. Even now, with all the benefits that he had, Kain shifted back and forth in his belief as to whether he was happy or not.
"Has there been anything on their former lovers?" Kain asked as he kept staring out the windows.
"Not since last month's attempts, sir," the jackal said, shaking his head. "I'm keeping an eye out for them, just in case, but after the thrashing that their females gave them last time, I imagine that they're starting to get the picture."
Kain hoped so. It had been some time since he had been able to rest safely, and he honestly didn't know if he ever would with the other dragon and kitsune out there, the males pissed at him for 'stealing' their females. He hadn't done a damn thing, as it had all been Ramses idea, but this...
Well, when he had almost been thrown out a window more than once, and he had been forced to hire taste-testers for his food and drink, it made it hard for him to feel safe in his own skin, let alone with his own hobbies.
And he honestly doubted that it was going to be over that easily. It felt like there was still a few more tricks that they could try.
Particularly the kitsune. Azuel had been great at fending off all the physical problems, the blue dragoness genuinely giving her all day in and day out, but there were only so many sneak attacks that one could plan for.
And if they get just one through...
He didn't know what would happen to the company if he did die. There were plenty of ways for The Magical Mundane to go down, and he doubted that it would go well. Ramses would be freed, of course, but with the compulsion that his mother had put down on the jackal to keep him safe, he didn't know what that would do to the other man.
And as for his wives...
Well, there were plenty of reasons to not want to die. Aside from, you know, just wanting to stay alive.
The limo pulled up to the hotel that he'd been staying in for the last few weeks. There had been quite the explosion after Nei's former lover had tried to blow him up, and it had been determined that he would be safer in a more public area, where routes in and out could be more properly secured. Kain stepped out of the limo as it came to a full stop, then paused as Ramses showed no sign of emerging from the limo.
"Aren't you coming?" he asked.
"Not tonight. I have a few things that I must take care of. For the good of the company, of course."
"Are you sure?"
"I am. And besides, I would not intrude on the happy events of the night."
Kain narrowed his eyes.
"You know something."
"Yes, I do. I often do, sir. That is my job."
"What's going to happen?"
"Nothing untoward, sir. Goodnight."
Ramses bowed his head, and with a flick of his finger, shut the limo door once more. Kain watched as his ride drove off, leaving him there without his briefcase, he belatedly realized. Then again, his work for the night was done, so he didn't technically need it.
No, he just needed stamina, more than likely. The black cat's shoulders slumped down as he remembered what was waiting for him at the penthouse, and he groaned.
Might as well go and face the music, he thought, turning and making his way into the golden lobby. Some few members of staff greeted him, and he waved at them as he passed by. His mind was already on the upper floors, preparing for the inevitable. And yet, for all that, his cock was already starting to stiffen in his pants.
Judas erection...
The guards at the elevator barely gave him a glance before waving him through. They'd been hired by Ramses, and as far as he knew, the jackal had already given them quite a few buffs beyond the common lot of mortals. It probably wouldn't be enough to deal with his wives' former lovers on their own, but it would sure be enough to stop them from doing anything down here without breaking out the big guns, and getting noticed. More to the point, it kept them from disguising things in illusions and sending them up the elevator.
The cat leaned against the back of the elevator as it stared the ascent towards the penthouse levels, and he took a deep breath, already feeling the urges that his wives loved to stoke starting to rise in his groin. He was going to be fucking all night long, he was sure, and he started trying to get himself into the mindset for it.
Azuel, the blue dragoness, the more fiery of the two wives and the more deadly, for sure. For all that the kitsune, her rival and sister-wife, was the more sneaky, it was Azuel that brought the fire and the muscle to all her fights, and it was she that had saved him from falling out of windows, being punched through walls, or any other danger that had come up. She was the one that had the strength to see them through the day, and the one that, all too often, was the one that pinned him in place and forced him to stay there while she rode his cock like a dildo.
He could see her in his mind's eye perfectly. She was beautiful, smooth, the sort of dragoness that almost didn't look like she had scales from how smooth and small they were. She had a blue like the deepest part of the sapphire, cold and dark, and yet, when she smiled, it all seemed to light up. Lithe and lean, with a bosom that enticed without distracting, she was the dragoness that many would kill for.
Then there was Nei, the five-tailed kitsune. She had snuck into his offices more than once with the grace of her species, and she had the deceit and the cunning to match Azuel in strength. It was her instincts that had guided him for the first few months of the marriage, what had given their company the chance to rise. And now? Now, they were sitting pretty because of her business acumen.
And physically, she was no slouch. While she was shorter, more slight than Azuel, she had a few more curves in the hips. The dragoness was true to her species, more scaly, more willowy, while the vixen had more of the potent curves of her more mundane relatives, with breasts that were a perfect handful and a pair of hips that were just to die for. He remembered how they felt riding him, pressing back against him, enticing him until he had no common sense left to resist.
That was Nei, and that was her power.
His cock throbbed as he imagined both of his wives waiting for him, and he groaned under his breath as his lusts started to pour forth, rising eagerly with the understanding of what was going to happen.
He was ready.
Okay...okay. Just let them make the first move, and it'll all be fine. It always is. You can do this.
The fact that he had to give himself a pep-talk before having sex with his wives should have been a big fat warning for him, but at the same time, he knew to be honest with himself. Better to say what he was afraid of than to pretend that it didn't exist.
The elevator dinged, and he stepped out. His keycard was already in hand, and he tapped it to the door on the other side of the short hallway. It opened, and there, waiting in the main room, were his wives. They were in bathrobes, barely covering their chests and groins, and they smiled at him with their hands behind their backs. They were definitely smug about something, but if there was a clue to what it was, he didn't see it.
Kain stepped inside, shutting the door behind him slowly. He shrugged out of his jacket, hanging the suit shirt on the wall before stepping into the main room. He stepped out of his shoes and started loosening his tie, cocking his head to the side.
"So, um, what's the occasion?"
The two women looked at each other, the females obviously grinning and smirking in a way that told him that he was in deeper trouble than he had imagined. What he had done, he wondered? What had he done?
They whispered back and forth about who should tell him, and as they did, Kain just felt more and more anxious. Shifting from one foot to the other, he looked over his shoulder at the door, debating what would happen if he just ran.
Nothing good, he was sure.
He was just about to try when Azuel grinned, lifting her arm out from behind her back. Nei did the same, and he blinked at what looked like thermometers at first. They were long, gray, and -
Wait.
Wait.
They had a different sort of receptacle than a thermometer. They were differently shaped. And...
And...
They had a reading of several bars on them.
Kain's eyes widened to the furthest extent that a cat might have reasonably expected his eyes to go, and then some. He had never expected something like this, never imagined that it would even be possible. His breath caught in his throat, and he coughed several times before he could bring himself to speak again.
"P-pregnancy tests?"
They nodded, grinning.
"And...they're both..."
"Positive," Azuel said.
"Both...both of you are..."
"Pregnant."
They smiled, obviously as proud as one could be, all while Kain felt like the world was spinning him off his feet. Everything felt topsy-turvy at the very idea of this level of cross-breeding. Dogs did it from time to time, yeah, but the idea of a cat doing it? And to a dragoness and a kitsune, of all species? How had that even happened?
Ramses, if this was your -
His thought didn't have the chance to complete itself. All of a sudden, there was a sudden hum, something that left the world feeling off. Not wrong, but...off. Off in a way that he really didn't like, and left him feeling a bit sick to his stomach. He stumbled, taking his eyes off of his wives for a split second. When he looked back, though, their grins were gone. Their eyes were wide, and their mouths open in shock.
They slowly looked down at the pregnancy tests again, their eyes going wider still, and then they looked from the tests to him.
"What the - YOU FUCKER!" Azuel shouted at the top of her lungs. "You - you fucking - you dared to get me pregnant?!"
"Such coarse language, but I echo the sentiment," Nei whispered, her eyes narrowing and her teeth showing. "I had intended this as a business arrangement, not as...this..."
"What - what are you talking about?" Kain asked, taking a step back as the women growled. He took another step back, and they took one forward. "Uh, um, Azuel? Nei? What's wrong?"
"YOU GOT US FUCKING PREGNANT!"
The dragoness threw her test at him, and he barely ducked out of the way in time. The next thing to come flying, however, was the table.
Oh god...
Ramses was halfway back to downtown when he felt something change. The jackal sat up in the back of the limo, cocking his head to the side for a moment before turning to look over his shoulder. His eyes glowed as he stared into the distance.
The hotel...
"Problem, sir?" the driver asked.
"Nothing. Continue on."
It was not as if the rat would see what he was about to do. The cat was a gesture of courtesy towards reality, rather than a necessity.
The jackal flexed his will, and the world faded away. He leaned toward the car door, pulling it open in his shadowy world, and as he stepped through, he left the limo behind and entered an entirely different room. The hotel room, cheap and lower-class compared to the penthouse in which his master stayed, faced towards the street. The two occupants, gathered around the table at the far end of the cheap room, hadn't noticed his entrance, too busy staring at a dish of water on the table.
A pity that they decided tonight was the night to strike again, the jackal thought, adjusting the cufflinks at the end of his sleeves. I had been hoping for a quiet night, and the master deserved some pleasure rather than yet more discomfort.
The two figures were scarcely more than an annoyance to him. One was a red dragon, standing reasonably tall and wrapped in the fine cloths of a man of the military. A formal uniform, yes, but the jackal knew from his personal informants that the dragon had been long-since dismissed for dishonor, that he carried the clothes more as a memory than as any current connections.
The other, a kitsune of pale fur and blue eyes, whipped his four tails about in a frenzy as he adjusted his own jacket. A fancy suit of blue and green, that, but it was a gift from Nei from when they were dating, nothing more. It was no display of wealth, no longer, not after both had squandered their power and prestige by trying to take down his master.
This would be the last attempt. They were down to desperate measures, more desperate than bombing his master's home. They were now striking at his spells, and from the feeling of it, they had hired someone else to make the spell for them to cast. Certainly, it was beyond the power of their own abilities to comprehend.
"What do you see, what do you see?" the dragon muttered to the kitsune as the jackal walked past the couch in the entryway.
"Looks like they're angry with him. Very angry."
"Are they trying to kill him?"
"Yours nearly hit him with a table. And mine...mine seems to be happy to use her tails."
"Good. I hope he dies."
"You are not alone in that," the kitsune muttered, the four tails twitching again as he kept his hands alongside the bowl of water.
Ramses recognized the types of magic at use. Melting figures in the bowl represented the spells that he had cast on the women in the floors above. The loving faces were cast in sugar to represent their sweet nature, and then tossed into the water to melt away. The anger was enforced by the heat around them, keeping them incensed with what had happened.
Truly, it was a powerful bit of magic, but definitely beyond them.
I really should have dealt with you properly last time, it seems. Master's soft touch will get him killed one of these days.
The jackal shook his head, pulling up his sleeves. He walked up to the pair of troublemakers, resting his hands on their shoulders. They froze, slowly looking up at him. The black jackal smiled, the soft orange 'sleeves' and 'collar' patterns on his fur starting to glow with power.
"Gentlemen..."
The dragon was the first to react, but Ramses had expected it, twisting to be not-there, his hand never leaving the dragon's shoulder. One moment, the red dragon was rising, fist cocked back to punch him in the face. The next, he was on the way down, and the jackal was behind him, pinning him against the tabletop.
The kitsune started to get to his feet, but Ramses shook his head.
"Do not make this worse for yourself."
Slowly, the kitsune sat again. The jackal nodded, looking between them with a small sigh.
"I suppose that you have made the choice for me."
"What are you talking about?" the dragon growled under him.
"At one time, your status protected you. High-ranking men that had been related to the great women of the time. You had power, you had wealth. You had a hint of prestige that remained from being with the women, even though you no longer were dating them. You even had the wishes of my master protecting you, though I scarcely understand why."
The jackal's eyes glowed.
"However, you have spent your money. You have spent your favor. You have spent your power. All that you have left are yourselves, and were you any less dangerous, I would cast you out on the street and let the world take you.
"But as you have proven yourselves to be far too resourceful for that..."
The jackal glowed a little bit more, and the air shook, time itself coming to a halt. His eyes glowed, and the bowl of water began to expand, reality shaking and twisting as he called on the power that he had been granted by his command. To protect the one that mattered most. To protect the one that she cared for.
For that, he could do nearly anything.
"I will have to take you with me..."
"Someone, HELP!"
Kain had just managed to get himself free of Nei's tails when the next series of projectiles came flying, each one trying to take his head off. Plates, cups, glasses - oh, the glasses were the worst. He ducked under them, but every now and then, a shard of the shattered glass would catch his fingers, or somewhere else, and he had to be thankful for the bit of protection that his fur offered him.
He lunged for the bedroom, barely making it ahead of the tails that were threatening to pull him right back to the melee. The cat slammed the door behind him, gasping for breath as he heard the thump, thump, thump of the angry women on the other side.
"You son of a bitch! By the time I'm done with you, you're going to wish that you'd sold us your company and -"
Azuel's threat died unsaid, and the world shifted again. Once more, Kain was almost knocked off his feet, and once more, he could feel that there was something different on the other side, the world changing.
He hoped that it was changing back.
After a few more seconds of silence, there was a polite knock on his bedroom door. Kain shivered as he opened it the slightest crack, and he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Ramses.
"Oh thank god. What happened?"
"Your wives are under control again, sir."
"What happened to them?"
"They had the spell upon them removed by someone that was...quite powerful, sir."
"More powerful than you?"
"Almost, sir. Were it not for your mother's aid in ensuring that I had the power to protect you, it might have been."
"...Who cast it?"
"I have my suspicions as to the one that created the spell, but no proof. However, the casters themselves were their lovers, causing problems again. I apologize for underestimating them, sir. It will not happen again."
Kain wanted to ask what had happened to them, but knowing Ramses, he knew that it would have already been something permanent. The jackal was very abrupt when it came to protecting him, sometimes, and when it came down to those two, he knew that his long-time friend would have been more exacting. He shook his head, sighing to himself.
"It's done, then?"
"It's done, sir."
"And...my wives?"
"See for yourself."
The jackal stepped out of the way, and Kain looked around him. Just as before, his wives were happy as could be, and this time, they were on their knees, completely naked. Their bodies were happily on display to him, their shoulders hunched forward a bit and their arms pushing their breasts together.
Despite the fact that they had been trying to kill him only scant minutes ago, his cock throbbed to full erection again, and he glared down at the bulge in his pants. Ramses chuckled to himself.
"It seems your urges are as alive as ever."
"They're not mine."
"Well, then, your wives have you well-trained."
"I'm not sure which is worse."
"Then you will have to sample them again, sir, and test for yourself which you prefer. Are you the sort of man that will always be interested in his women, no matter what they do, or are you the sort of man that is trained to take anything as a bit of foreplay?"
"..."
He half-stared, half-glared at the jackal, then slowly walked around him. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew that there was still more expected of him. Even though Nei and Azuel were both looking dazed, out of it, he had little doubt that they were going to come back ready and willing for everything that they normally wanted.
Using me as a dildo, using my mouth as a toy, sucking me off and teasing each other over who can do it better...
The cat sighed to himself, rubbing his forehead as he approached the two females. As they reached for the zipper of his pants, he braced himself for what was soon to come, and he hoped, desperately, that he had the strength for this tonight.
A private plane landed in the airfields just outside the city, though the passenger did not own the plane. It was a favor granted to her, the last favor that she had been able to call on from her family.
Maeve, a sergal of green and gray fur, slowly walked down the steps after they were rolled up to the plane. She looked at the city in the distance, making out the little lights that illuminated the sides of buildings, saw the logos of hotels and businesses that put marks down on the skyline for those that knew what they were looking for.
More than anything, she felt the lack of power in the air, and she knew that the spell had failed. The sergal sighed, pulling her coat a bit tighter around her.
It was too much to hope for. It was never going to be that easy.
As she waited for her luggage to be removed from the plane, she cast her sight upon the city. Her eyes saw into the distance, and magic carried her the rest of the way. She looked for the dragon and the kitsune that had come to her, hoping for help, but she saw nothing. She felt no sign of their lives, their souls, and she knew that something worse than merely miscasting the spell had happened.
She looked towards the room where she felt the echoes of their lives, and she focused her power. The sergal felt something...different. Something familiar, vaguely so, but she couldn't quite make it out.
"Ma'am?"
Maeve blinked, looking at the fox that offered her a suitcase. She had to take a moment to settle herself in her own body again, nodding.
"Thank you."
"Are you alright, ma'am? You seemed about ready to nod off."
"It's just the journey. I'll be fine in the morning."
"Do you need someone to call you a taxi?"
"Yes, please. See to that."
Maeve nodded to him, and to herself. She would need to take the night to rest, much as she wanted to investigate what had happened to the makeshift minions that she had hoped to use the dragon and kitsune as. If they had succeeded in removing the women from the equation, then her path would have been much easier. Instead, they seemed to have butchered the task badly enough to get themselves removed from the equation, instead.
Rest, she told herself. Kain will still be there tomorrow. He will not disappear. He's not like you.
The sergal winced at her own thoughts, but didn't deny them. She had made a number of mistakes, and while none of them were something that stung her down to the heart, she knew that she had to make up for them. Quickly.
The taxi came swiftly, and she stepped inside. Much as she was tempted to order the driver to head to the same hotel her minions had been staying it, she knew that it would only expose her more quickly to whoever had handled them. No, better to pick somewhere else. Somewhere close, yes, but not the same place.
And tomorrow...Tomorrow, she could figure out what was going on.
The End
