Poem no. 4

I was an artist and i loved you like you were my canvas

Thoughtful intentions

Time dedicated

Precious moments spent together

They never last forever

although we made messes

I loved your imperfections

I saw beauty in your everything

not for your colors

not for your concept

for that passion in me you burned

but then one day you turned

I used to yearn the feeling we shared

the fun you used to give me

I used smile at you with pride

Now i hide

theres shame upon my face

your paint still stains my body

it hurts too much to believe you loved me

So I let you be

I walked away

I was a tortured artist and you were left an untouched canvas
