The Man of Iron Part 6
Yay I got it up. I think it's kind of short though... Yeah.

"Spread out men. Keep your eyes peeled."
"Yes sir."
"Got it mate."
"I hear ya'."
"..."
The five men jogged through the snow covered forest, their steps so light it barely left a trail. The leader suddenly stopped, and the four others stopped as well. As they crouched, they then became one with nature, shrouded by her cloak of stealth.
"Tracks. Human...Followed by three pairs of Chameleon." The leader said, he blinked twice. "Their steps are light. Especially the human one...Wait. Chameleons, thermal sights men." The leader said,
The five men turned on their thermal vision and got into a star formation, their guns facing outwards. They were already quite a few miles away from their base, if they needed to retreat, they had no where to run. But they could always hide. Cobal, the leader of the group heard a flutter of clothing,
"Break!" He yelled, and the four men rolled away, to be ambushed by gunfire. Kevin was killed by six rounds to the chest, his scout armor couldn't take that much punishment, the other three ran to cover, preparing to fight back the sudden ambush.
Ashuri, one of the only human, animal hybrids, came down from a tall tree. She wore beige robes with a white trim, and blue and white clothing underneath. Her slim sword was out, ready to cut Cobal in half. But he did something that amazed her. Cobat quickly spun around on his heels, and parried her sword with his large rifle. The sword cut through the rifle easily, but provided enough time for Cobal to dodge and pull out his own sword from his back. Ashuri landed and took up an offensive stance. Cobal took up a defensive stance with his broadsword. They stood there for about ten seconds, which Cobal used to look at his opponents face. Ashuri had long purple hair, tied up in a pony tail, and she had long ears, her ears were like bird wings, which Cobal thought was very odd. Her eyes were dark brown, and she didn't look like much of a fighter, but Cobal knew that it took alot of skill to come down from the sky and almost suprise him.
"I have got to hand it to you. You have a lot of skill." Cobal said, Ashuri said nothing. Cobal's men saw that he was engaged in a dual of a sort, and they knew that they shouldn't help. Ashuri then attempted a stab at Cobal, which Cobal dodged easily, Ashuri then spun kicked Cobal in the face. Cobal staggered back, which Ashuri used to her advantage, she lunged at him, and disarmed him with a quick move. Cobal threw a right hook at her, attempting to make her back off a little, but she dodged to the left, and then behind him. She kicked the back of his leg and held her sword to his neck. Cobal's men saw this, and surrendered. They had no choice, if they shot at Ashuri, the ambushers would go in and kill them, if they kept of fighting the ambushers, Ashuri would kill Cobal and go for them. After the three Chameleons hand-cuffed Cobal's men, and Cobal himself, they were brought to a small village. It was a furry village, small enough to avoid detection. There were four chairs in the middle of the village, which they tied Cobal and his men to. Ashuri walked up to Cobal.
"Tell me where Marie Canter is." She asked,
"Don't tell her cap'!" One of Cobal's men said, he was smacked quite hard in the face by Ashuri.
"Well. I did see someone who was better fed, and clothed in the camp. Don't worry. My commander, Atlas has taken a liking to her. She'll be okay." Cobal said, Ashuri rose an eyebrow, and smacked Cobal.
"Don't fuck around with me!" She yelled,
"Seriously, I've seen kids interrogate better then you. And I'm telling the truth." Cobal said, Ashuri's face became red with anger,
"Throw them into the cells." She yelled.
