It was difficult for Titus to acknowledge any weakness or character flaw. The only reliable way to get him to do so involved copious amounts of wine. Merakles had once told him after a night of heavy drinking that the warrior was a fun drunk for the most part. 'But one cup too many' his friend had said, and he became morose. Only in such a state would Titus admit that his pride and arrogance could sometimes get the better of him. And now, as the exhausted hero hung upside-down, bruised and beaten and at the mercy of the terrible serpent, he could only reflect on just how much trouble his foibles had caused him.

Moments ago, he was basking in his hard-won victory. "Don't despair too much, beast," he declared in triumph. "You'll die by the hands of one of man's greatest warriors. There's no shame in that," he mused as he began loosening his grip to reposition himself to break the snake's neck. "But there may be more than a little pain involved," he warned with savage satisfaction.

As it turned out, pain was very much involved. The first of the creature's surprise counter-attacks knocked the wind from Titus' lungs and forced his back into a thick, gnarled root as the coils held him hard to the ground. Just as he was managing to fight it off, the world turned upside-down. The hero was simply too tired and disoriented to do much beyond yelling curses at the serpent as his body was pummeled by multiple blows from every direction. Each strike was more brutal than the last and before long, the warrior was almost grateful that the pain throbbing throughout his body was enough to distract from the lingering pain in his head.

As if reading his mind and regretting the oversight, the monster then beat him against a tree like a woman beat laundry. Again and again his exposed head was rammed unceremoniously against the trunk. After a few furious assaults, the man's vision was blurred and his head, burning from the rush of blood, was once again in the running for the part of his body that pained him most.

It hurt to scream so Titus just gritted his teeth and tried to still his breathing. But it hurt even to breath and Titus had to stifle an anguished cry when the serpent bound his arms to his waist and squeezed. The warrior didn't want to think of how many broken bones he'd have to tend to if he got out of this. When he got out of this, he had to remind himself. Even now the hero refused to accept defeat, though he was having trouble working out a plan on how to escape this dangerous situation.

For now, he settled for leveling his gaze at the beast and looking him in the eyes; he would not show fear or give the snake the satisfaction of hearing him beg. Pride again. Titus could almost hear Merakles chastise him.

Then, from out of nowhere, a sudden rush of euphoria flooded his body. It came on so quickly and was so potent that Titus barely had time to ponder its source. One moment, he was wracked with pain and the next, it was gone, replaced by a deep and pleasant warmth. His whole body was numb and weightless and his vision cleared. It brought into focus the bright and spectacular rings of color that the warrior had not even consciously noticed until now.

Relax. The suggestion seemed like a wise one and Titus ceased his squirming and struggling. The raw and bruised muscle of his body started to melt. The thought had come unbidden, just like the pleasure. It was his own thought, or so he assumed. Where else could it have come from? But it felt different somehow; foreign and ill-at-ease with his other thoughts, which were growing more distant and quieted as time passed.

It was that sense of wrongness that sparked something in the back of the warrior's mind. This was wrong. Unnatural. With great effort, the hero closed his eyes, shook his head - a painful gesture - and turned his gaze away. Oddly enough, the pain gave him focus. The pain was real and it grounded him in the here and now, the reality of his dire situation. The pain was real; the pleasure was a lie. Titus could not know how, but the serpent was manipulating him.

He growled in protest as he resumed his struggle. "S-stay out of my head, fiend!" Titus yelled.

Cain knew all the blows he was giving Titus were taking their toll on the warrior's body. But this man cub seemed strong enough to take it, and Cain was just having some fun. Plus, he was wearing armor, so there wouldn't be too many bruises.

"Sssshame, that head isn't protected," Cain thought as he whammed Titus against a tree, purposefully aiming for his unprotected skull. The python knew that would weaken the warrior's mind, making him easy to manipulate. And how easy it was already to manipulate the man! Just by his admitting defeat, the hero began to boast and puff his toned chest. His own fault of course, for it had led to the handsome hero being stuck in this odd position.

Titus was now before the snake, upside-down, with his strong arms pinned to his side and his legs tied together. The massive python hung and dangled the hunky hero by his ankles, watching him squirm. Cain chuckled, as the sensation of the strong human wiggling in his bondage position to free himself felt almost like a tickle against the snake's coils. But that armor didn't feel good against Cains coils... it would be the first thing to go.

But before all that, Cain had to... relax his new friend. Well, more toy than friend. It pleased the snake to see Titus end his squirming as his brown eyes met the spiraling colors. Cain never got tired of the expression a human made when witnessing his power for the first time.

Confusion, eyes widen, mouth hangs open, and Titus' handsome face looked so cute. Cain knew that oddly pleasant sensation was telling his hazy mind to let all worries go and to just fall. But once again, Cain underestimated his prey. Almost as soon as the warrior had stopped struggling, he shook his head, yelled at the snake, and continued to resist. Titus had caught on to the fact that the blissful euphoria creeping into his mind and body wasn't quite right.

"Tsk tsk tsk, ooh dear, ssssomeone sssstill hasss sssome fight in them. That won't do at all," Cain hissed, as he ended his spiral. The snake didn't want to seriously injure the man, so more physical blows were out of the question. However, Cain knew of other ways to get what he wanted. Cain's head slithered up toward the warrior's bound ankles. Using his teeth, the snake began to undo the hunk's tightly wrapped sandals, despite the protests and curses Titus yelled as Cain felt him continue to struggle in his upside-down and bound situation.

Finally, Cain tossed aside the worn-out and dirty sandals, leaving Titus bare foot. The snake chuckled as he flicked his tongue against the hunk's big, sweaty toes. "How delicioussss," Cain hissed, as he used his tail to furiously tickle the handsome warrior's wide, smooth soles.

Cain brought his head down, and could see Titus holding in laughter. "Ticklissssh are we?" Cain said, making a mental note. Still, the man refused to open his eyes, and continued to struggle, despite his handsome face growing red from the intense tickle torture.

"Sssorry to do thisss man cub, but you asssked for it," the python hissed, even though he wasn't sorry at all. A coil wrapped around Titus' thick neck, forcing his head to turn to face the python once again. "It'sss rude not to look at ssssomeone when they are ssspeaking to you," Cain chuckled, as the coil around the warrior's neck and chest squeezed tightly to cut off his breathing, and hopefully, to force the muscular man cub's eyes open.

Titus continued to struggle against the snake's bindings. But while his shoulders and biceps swelled from the exertion of straining against the muscular coils, the warrior soon concluded it was a waste of his remaining strength; the serpent's grip was not loosening. He'd taken too many blows, spent too much of his energy wrestling and grappling with the beast, to summon his full might now. And an unwelcome suspicion told him he would not be able to escape this trap even were he fresh and rested. The coils wrapped firmly about his waist and chest were much thicker than those he had managed to fight off earlier.

So the hero decided to stop his struggling for now and focus his efforts on keeping his eyes closed and his head as far away from the creature as best he could without actually being able to look at his foe. His head still ached and the blood pooling within it due to his uncomfortable position only made it worse. It was hard enough to think, but some part of his mind felt foggy as if he were still fighting off the snake's strange influence. The sounds of the wind and creaking branches and his own struggling seemed muffled, as if they were coming from a distance or from beneath the shallow surface of water. But when the serpent spoke, its voice was perfectly clear and seemed almost to come both from without and within his own mind.

It was a frightening thought and one the warrior could not banish even as he tried furiously to do so. How could the beast possess such a skill? It had to be somehow tied to the spirals. The colorful spirals...

At the mere memory of them, Titus could almost see the strange colors rippling outward in his mind's eye. Some strange urge bubbled up inside him to just open his eyes and gaze upon them again. With a jolt, Titus broke that train of thought and tried to refocus on anything other than the spirals. If they held power over him, even now, that was just more evidence of how beautiful - dangerous! - they truly were.

His reverie was broken by the new sensation of the snake pulling off his sandals. He tried to squirm his feet away but it was hopeless as the beast began running its long tongue between his toes and over the balls of his exposed feet. Willpower warred against biology as Titus tried desperately to keep from laughing. The hero knew a power play when he saw one; the creature was trying to show just how much Titus was at its mercy.

The satisfaction he could hear in the serpent's silken voice was sickening. But try as he might, the warrior could not deny the serene melody that came from the flowing hiss that streamed just under the surface of each word the snake spoke. His mind drifted to tales of sirens that could enthrall sailors with just their voice, drawing them inexorably to their doom. Such thoughts were in stark contrast to the ticklish creep that now coursed throughout his hanging body. Wittingly or not, the creature had found a weak spot. A few muted gasps escaped from Titus' lips as he fought heroically against the urge to laugh. But the tongue was so skilled in its explorations, that it made it impossible not to spasm helplessly in its grip as the tickling continued.

It was hard enough to breathe from this position while holding in guffaws, but when the snake's coils wrapped about his neck like a vice, it became suddenly and frighteningly impossible. It was too much! The fight and tickling had brought him to the brink of exhaustion and his muscle-bound body was crying out desperately for air. And now even that was denied to him. He tried to resist the natural impulse to gasp and open his eyes. Titus fought like the warrior he knew he was and as blissful unconsciousness approached, he briefly wondered if it would be better to just pass out. The snake could not manipulate his mind if it was not awake.

But primal urges were hard to deny. After a few vain moments of struggling to pull away from the serpent's iron grip, the warrior gasped for air. And outside his control, the hero's eyes opened wide, staring directly into the snake's waiting gaze.

Cain was very much enjoying himself. The sight of the handsome warrior's big toes wiggling and curling was enticing, as his now bare feet tried to shift and escape the snake's long, wet, forked tongue. But it was no use.

Tied together at the ankles, the hunky hero was going nowhere as he hung upside-down, forced to allow the python to lick his wide soles. Sliding his tongue in between the muscular man cub's toes, Cain licked his lips as he heard gasps and grunts from the wrapped up warrior. Clearly the hero's feet were a sensitive spot. "I'll have to come back to that later," the snake said.

Cain knew that the foot licking would only weaken the man further. His mind was already swamped with aches and pains, as well as the blood rushing to his head. And now the combination of tickling and choking was too much.

This human seemed to have a lot of pride and resistance, but Cain knew that even the strongest man had limits. They all cracked eventually. And the stronger they were, the harder they fell...

Cain hissed with excitement as he watched Titus open his brown eyes, watching them widen as they were once again shown the snake's spiraling colors. The python knew that the previous colors had already worked their way into the warrior's mind. Teasing him and whispering words of seduction.

It was a mind game the hero wasn't ready for, and ultimately couldn't fight. "Ssssee man cub? There'ssss no point in fighting. Resssissstance is ussselesss. Ssso why don't you jussst relax and give into thosssse pretty colorsss. I know how good they make you feel. Why don't you let them..." Cain hissed, his sweet, dangerous words working their way into the hero's mind. Cain had gotten rid of all fight in the brown-haired hunk. Now was the time to strike, and send the warrior into the realms of bliss.

Cain watched with excitement as the man's eyes began to shrink to pinpricks. Being upside down for so long, Cain knew that the hero's mind was light-headed and fogged, making it easy for the spirals to work their way into the man cub's head. And as the python watched the spirals begin to reflect in the hunky hero's eyes, he knew there would be no more thinking for this human.

"No more thoughtssss... no more worriessss... no more caresss. You feel that tingling pleasssure creeping inssside you? I can make that ssstay. I can give you all kindssss of pleasssure. You jusssst have to trusssst me," Cain chuckled, knowing his powerful words would be too much for the warrior and were already flooding his head.

"Aren't they ssso pretty.... pretty colorsss... why don't you tell me the colorsss you see?" Cain urged. Slowly, he began to massage the upside-down hero. It was tricky, with all the armor still on, but Cain managed. His smooth scales slid and squeezed his biceps, waist, thighs, calves, and of course his feet. The coils stroked his skin and muscles, granting the warrior euphoria like never before. Titus was a goner. And as Cain smiled wickedly, it was clear that he knew this to be true.

As soon as Titus opened his eyes, all he could see were the swirling pools of color. They rippled outward from some unfathomable depth and expanded until they encompassed the whole of his vision; there was nothing else.

The warrior vaguely recalled that he needed to breathe, but the tightness around his neck seemed to loosen the longer he gazed into the glowing portals. Soon, air was flowing freely into his lungs and the hero dared to think that he had never breathed easier. That familiar pleasure enveloped him almost immediately. All his aches and pains vanished beneath a sea of euphoria.

His mouth slowly fell open and his eyes widened further. Titus had never seen anything like this. His earlier suspicions proved true - the colors were indeed the source of these magnificent sensations he was feeling. The closer he looked, the better he felt. His mind, already growing cloudy, drifted to thoughts of sinking into warm and perfumed baths after a hard-fought battle. That sense of relief after such an exertion almost drew a contented groan from his lips.

But something still prodded at his psyche, some faint sliver of doubt that refused to be dislodged from his meandering thoughts. This was wrong. Wasn't it? He'd been in pain, had been fighting... something. The pleasure he was experiencing, intense and perfect as it was, came from a dark place. At least, Titus thought it did.

The warrior knew he had to resist, to fight against these feelings. But hadn't he already tried that? His mind seemed to argue against itself as his body went limp in the serpent's coils. He had tried to resist these feelings before, and yet here was again. Perhaps resisting was a waste of time. Perhaps it was futile. And as the pleasure seemed to intensify, the hero began to wonder why he should fight it at all. Would he deny a warm bath or the bed of an eager lover? No, of course not! This made him feel better than either of those could. Why resist?

The smallest hint of a smile tugged at the corners of Titus' mouth. By now, he could almost feel the colors washing over him, bathing them in their light. Each color swept over his form like waves advancing on the shore and each color pulled him toward the center of the spiral as those waves receded and guided him farther from the shore.

He felt like he was drifting upon the surface of the water without a care in the world. All the rigors of combat, the heavy burdens the people placed on his wide shoulders, his own fears and hidden insecurities, they all washed off him as easily and completely as grime scrubbed with lye. These colors were blessing him with absolute calm and serenity.

The noise of the world drifted away. But in his head he heard a low whisper. The voice was sweet and succulent and delighted his ears like honey delights the tongue. It promised more pleasure - how could it be possible to feel better?! - if only Titus trusted the voice. The warrior wanted to trust that voice, needed to believe that this newfound joy was endless. All the pain was gone, replaced with new sensations for which the hero scarcely had words.

Smooth scales glided around his arms and legs and he felt compelled to flex his impressive muscles whenever and wherever the coils made contact; on a primal level, Titus still enjoyed showing off and he knew the colors and the voice would want to feel the firmness of his perfectly sculpted body. Their knowing touch was that of a lover who could make a man hard with the barest caress. Indeed, as the liquid smoothness enshrouded his body, the familiar tug of arousal pooled in his groin. The colors danced before him, the voice massaged his mind, and the coils embraced him snugly - Titus felt his manhood begin to stir as his smile widened and a quiet moan slipped from his lips.

The voice was urging him to speak, to tell it what colors he saw. The warrior raised his brows as his smile cocked to one side as if the mere act of speaking was a struggle. There was blue, but was it fair to call such an elegant shade merely blue? Would his words be able to convey just how wonderful these colors truly were?

"B-blue," he eventually managed, his voice raspy and strained. "Green," he husked with effort, his neck craning to drink in more of the vibrant display. His head leaned forward as his spiraling eyes widened almost comically large as he continued. "Violet and... and g-g-gold," he crooned. "S-sooo pretty," he sighed. His mind was filled with the sound of waves on the shore. The hero barely noticed the warnings of danger inside his own head as they were quickly swept away with the tide. Soon, all he could hear was that heavenly hiss that seemed to rise and fall in time with the dancing colors.

"I- I feel... what... what's happening?" The question fell from his lips innocently. Titus' mind was gone, but his instincts still held some sway. His natural curiosity emerged from the flood, but all it could do was wonder at this new reality.

"Yesssss, ssso pretty man cub. They're sssso inviting... you jussst wanna keep looking, don't you?" Cain hissed, as he noticed the handsome hunk straining to get closer for a better look. The snake knew Titus was falling hard. All the pain and burden was slowly falling off the man's broad shoulders. All thoughts and senses were being blocked by the colors, those colors that brought peace and relaxation to the warrior's throbbing head and bruised, aching body.

The python felt the man flex his thick, strong muscles as they were rubbed and squeezed. "Ssssomeone has an impresssssive body," Cain chuckled, as he continued to drill the spirals into the hunky hero's mind. "Don't worry, I will give you all the pleasssure in the world. A body like your'ssss dessserves to be sssqueezed," the snake hissed. He knew his words were working their magic and seeping into the handsome warrior's mind. They dripped slowly like molasses and emptied his head, leaving only the snake's reassuring words.

As a smile began to form on the man cub's handsome and sweaty face, Cain knew that meant one thing. Titus was getting excited. Not breaking eye contact, a coil slithered toward the groin region and sure enough, he could feel a bulge forming. The snake's spirals had that effect on man cubs.

The large amount of testosterone made men excited when they saw the colors. And a muscular warrior like Titus had a bucket load, making his body fill with arousal and pleasure. Unfortunately, the hero's armored skirt prevented the snake from fully feeling what lay underneath, but still the snake pressed lightly to show Titus all was well. All was as it should be. That soon, the man would feel euphoria like never before. Once that armor was removed, of course. But first, the snake still had to break that stubborn mind.

"Let your head be sssso empty man cub. Let me take over. You don't need to think now that I'm here. Let my wordssss guide you into the realmsss of blisssss," Cain hissed, flicking his tongue to lick the man's nose. The coils continued to massage Titus' arms and legs, as well as his bare feet. Kneading his biceps, calves, and soles was only adding to the pleasure, and wearing down the man more and more.

"What's happening?" Cain repeated with a laugh. "Why, I'm hypnotizing you, ssssilly. But don't worry... you like it don't you. I know it feelsss amazing. Just let me have my way. Let me have my fun. You're tired... you're sore... let me take care of that perfect body," the snake said. His words were so inviting, so reassuring, as Cain used the tip of his tail to trace small circles on the man's bare feet.

"Asss a warrior I'm sssure you ssspend all day doing things for othersss. You dessserve sssome pleasssure. Sssome time off. I can give you that. No one elsssse can," Cain said. The snake's words were shaping the man's feeble mind to Cain's will. It was ridding Titus of his own thoughts, instincts, and senses, replacing them all with colors. "Now." Cain said. "Let'ssss hear that ping," he said, as he pressed his forehead into the upside-down warrior's face, their eyes nearly touching as the colors flooded Titus' mind, and all other surroundings disappeared.

It felt as if the whole of Titus' body was being pulled inward toward the maelstrom of swirling color. Every sibilant word, every enticing squeeze, every new eruption of color dragged him closer to a center of bliss that he was always approaching but could never reach. It filled him with a longing, a hunger, a need to go further; to see what awaited him at the apex of pleasure.

And as the serpent's coils stroked his body, it's seductive words stroked the warrior's ego. Though he was falling fast under the sway of the beast's authority, the hero was still prideful to his core. To be praised for his body and his valor, to be told that he deserved peace and pleasure, was intoxicating to the man. In his right mind, Titus may have seen the flattery for what it was - hollow and even dangerous. But as his mind continued to slip deeper into oblivion, the words impacted him and made him even more eager to trust the titanic snake.

The praise and intensifying massage served only to make his arousal grow. Memories came to him of crowds of people stealing admiring glances at his body as he strode into a village or city to revel in some impossible victory. He could, and often did, have any of them that he liked. But none had ever touched him like the serpent was now. The warrior had been with more than one lover, but no orgy had given him such pleasure. It seemed like every part of his body, from his swaying head to his curling toes, was being admired and worshiped all at once. Even his normally ticklish feet were aching for more of those tenderizing and kneading coils. Everywhere the snake touched came to life.

Especially his manhood. As the serpent's power turned the hero's own mind against him, he moaned lewdly as he responded to the creature's touch by thrusting his hips forward, eager for more contact. The coils teased at him and he felt himself throb against the bindings of his armor. Between the stunning spirals and the carnal pleasure, Titus could no longer fight.

The beast's words surrounded and endowed the helpless human. Suddenly, instead of having to lean forward to see more of the colors, the kaleidoscopic wonder came to him. All other sights and sounds and thoughts flew away. There was only the spinning wheels of endless wonder. Titus felt the colors pulse into him as his body seemed to vibrate from their rapturous energy. A few more stray thoughts of resistance barged into his mind, but the warrior himself sent them away; they were interrupting his pleasure.

He felt no more pain, not even the slightest ache. All was bliss and joy. It came upon him so furious and fast that the hero failed to even notice when his own mind went completely silent. To him, it still seemed as if he had his own thoughts, but as a strange pinging sound like the bells of victory rang out within his head, every new thought, each new desire or idea was merely an echo of Cain's own wishes. Yes, the divine being's name was Cain, he knew now. And the name alone thrilled him. Cain had decided to bless him with these mystical powers and now the great serpent promised to share even greater pleasures with the captivated man cub. Titus' smile widened comically at the thought of such a title. He realized that he loved it when Cain called him man cub.

As the bells ceased their chiming, Titus gave in entirely. The spirals in his own eyes sped up furiously. Immediately after, his eyes rolled back into his skull as his grin widened as far as it could go, painting a dopey but still handsome image of utter bliss and surrender on his face. Further down - up? - his cock came to full mast in an instant, his arousal so piqued that even his thick leather armor tented from the rock-solid strain. Titus felt his pulse hammer within his shaft as precum trickled out of his slit and stained the thin loincloth beneath his skirt.

And he moaned - louder and longer and huskier than any that had come before. This sound came from his gut and spoke clearly of his fall, of his need for more. On some level, Titus knew that he had lost control of his body and mind; some stray fragments of consciousness watched on from purgatory as his own body and emotions moved beyond his control. But so total was Cain's hold over him now, that even those remnants watched with excitement and longing. Whatever small part of the warrior that remained himself, wanted this to continue.

Titus, the great hero, now belonged to Cain.

The Tale of Cain and Titus, Pt. 4

Cain chuckled as he watched the handsome hunk ping before his very eyes. It had taken some time, but the warrior had finally succumbed and reached the climax of hypnosis. The ping was the sound of the mind breaking, nay, leaving the victim's head....

Titus tried to control his breathing and ignore the fierce and unforgiving heat that beset his body. His deep brown eyes blinked away the beads of sweat that fell from his forehead. It stung, but he was more worried about how it made his vision blur....

"I do wish you would let me accompany you into the jungle, Titus," complained the worried voice of Merakles, the legendary hero's attendant. Titus merely chuckled and shook his head as he raised his arms spread-eagle to allow Merakles to massage...
