Chapter Nine: Red Vs Blue

Not to be mistaken for the Halo thing on YouTube, and I know, I' not that good with the whole fight stuff, for that I'm sorry...

Brandon now wearing his silver and blue cape amour ran toward his foe, Drake; with speed no human should ever be capable of wielding. Drake brought the red flames around his body again to push him away, but Brandon was still faster. Swinging his shield witch held tightly on his left arm, he slammed Drake hard in the fast; blood erupting from his jaws as his body was sent flying toward the ground hard. Brandon landed on the ground with a soft thud as his cape flapped in the wind. His face held both anger and blankness, as he saw Drake struggle to stand. Already his breathing was heavily, his nose bleeding. Growling he circle the human as Brandon stood still; eyes close. Drake saw his chance and attacked, as he closed the gap between them, he saw Brandon smile. He didn't know why until it was too late. Brandon jumped high in the air, flipping his body as he did so until his landed on the tip of Drake snout. Drake snapped as he jumped again laughing as he did so, swinging his sword in the air a blue light surrounded the blade as he landed; running to Drake again. Slashing the blade in front of him, a wave of blue light flowed from the blade and hit Drake hard in the chest, causing him to scream in pain. Only when Brandon heard him scream did he stop o allow the dragon to stand.

"It feels horrible doesn't it?" he asked as Drake hissed, "The pain in your chest from that last attack; it feel horrible, doesn't it?" he moved in circles around the dragon as Drake followed with his head, "For almost two years I felt what you were feeling, pain in my chest, because of a broken heart." He brought his shield over his chest with his eyes close, "Because." He opened his eyes, showing the dark blue looking back at Drake, "Because of you! Because of you, you caused the pain of my mate, you caused the death of the dragons and dragoness around here!" he brought his arms out around as he span, "And because of you," he slowly glared at him, "You've caused my son to see what death truly is!" he pointed his blade at Drake as his arm shook, "Stand Drake the Traitor! And face your judgement of a legend!"

Greydor was watching this the whole time under the body of his mother; he couldn't believe what he was watching. He had just witness a power from his father unlike any dragon before him had ever seen, a power that went back to the age of castles themselves. He was almost terrified of his father, but he knew that he was only doing this to stop Drake, that he would go back to what he was; or would he? Saira face was transfixed on the scene before her; she began to wonder if what Brandon gain was just a power gained because of his anger he felt from Drake, or was it because the Knight of Old was really fighting with him?

"Mommy?" Saia looked down to Greydor who was looking up, "Why isn't daddy attacking Drake while he's down?" Saira knew the answer to that.

"The Knight had fused with your father," she like the sound that made when she called Brandon his father, "So his way of fighting also went to him, the knights would never fight a foe when down or without a sword in hand; and it seems Brandon is doing the same." Greydor nodded as Drake started to stand, his body shaking as blood pour down his sides and face.

"What are you?!" he roared the flames around him growing around him, burning the ground as they reached higher and higher. "You are not human, you can't be!" dropping his shield Brandon brought the blade in front of him, the wind around him started to pick up as his own blue flame started to grow, almost as tall as Drake's, but unlike Drake's, he did not leave a road of death, but life. The grass around him started to grow faster as light darted toward each of the dragon's bodies, their bodies healed as they started to awaken a bit. Not a word was heard as both flames grew in the sky.

"I am what I am." He answered, "I am a man, who would give his life to save the ones he love, the ones he care for. I am the one who will drag this sword though your heart so slow that it will make you beg for me to end your life; but I will not! I will make you feel the pain you have brought on the dragons here, the lives you have destroyed!" his flame around him started to burn brighter, his cape ripping off from the force. "I am Brandon Casey! Mate to Saira, and father, the true father; of Greydor!" His flame broke off as he started to run toward Drake, but Drake's still burned as he ran toward Brandon as well. Drake jumped into the air in hope of crashing the human, but Brandon jumped as well; bringing his sword toward the chest of Drake. The sword broke though his scales as it drove its way into his chest toward his heart. This force caused to be thrown back onto his back, with Brandon standing on his chest, sword still in his hands as he pushed down more. rake screamed and roared as Brandon pushed more down,

"Accept your fate Drake!" he drove more of the sword in as the dragon below him squirmed and started to claw at the human above him, he slashed at Brandon sword arm, but still he went on. Slashing like a mad man, he slashed Brandon chest, leg, anything to get the human off. "They say," Brandon answered in his own voice, "That a dragon lives even if there heart is cut, I guess this is right." The sword was almost hilted inside of Drake as the dragon gasped. "No, let see if they live when the heart is spilt!" pulling the sword all the way out, he began to drive it back down at full speed.

"Stop!" Brandon turned to fury in his eyes, but his eyes soften when he saw it was Greydor that yelled out to him. "Don't do it daddy!" Both of Brandon eyes began to turn back to normal as he watched the young dragon, "You don't have to kill him, look; his already dying. Please." He moved closer to Brandon almost in tears, "I don't want to see my daddy kill another; please." The armour that held Brandon began to disappear as he slipped off of Drake chest, he never knew, but his body felt heavy; like he was going to drop any second.

"Greydor..." he fell on his knees as Greydor ran to him to try and keep him up, Saira soon followed, holding Brandon in hold claw; but low enough for him to still see Greydor. He brought his hand out and started to rub his head as if to mess up his hair that was not there. "My...son." His eyes slowly closed as he blacked out.

Brandon slowly opened his eyes to see nothing but blue clear sky; he thought that he was dead and now floating on a cloud, forever looking at the sky. But he felt pain. Was life after death allowed to have pain? His eyes started to clear as he saw that a wide cave opening above him. A blanket draped over his body, which was covered with white cloth when he removed it. He tried to sit up, but the pain was too great as he slumped back

"Easy," a voice somewhere in the darkness said, "Or your wounds will reopen." Brandon moved his body over a bit to see what shocked him; a human, a female human. Her long blond hair traced toward her shoulders, causing them to curl up into a nice bouncy way. Her eyes a deep brown, her skin pale white. She must of seen Brandon shock look because she was laughing. "Are you wondering why a human is here caring for you?" Brandon nodded, "And why I'm a female human more or less?" again he nodded, as she chuckled. "Well; me being female is because of what I was born as, as you are male. As for why I'm here, the dragons here don't know how to treat humans like they can dragons, and might I add; treating you was harder then I thought it would be." She bought out a glass as she handed it to him. "Drink and I'll tell you." Obeying her order he began to drink. "There were two things about you that made it hard to keep you from dyeing, one; being how badly your wounds were." Brandon nodded, 'And secondly, that Saira dragoness doesn't care if I have a mate," she chuckled, "It like she thought I would dumb my husband for you because we're human!" Brandon had to chuckle a bit, too. That sounded like Saira.

"How is..." started Brandon, "Everyone?" he was still in much pain to the point where talking hurt him.

"They're fine," she answered, "In fact the Elders found something you would be please to find out, and I'm glad I over heard this too." Brandon brought the glass down so he could hear. "It's seem, that humans can give or bear the child of their dragon mates."

Brandon jaw dropped, he was only saying that Greydor was his son to piss Drake off, he didn't really think it was possible.

"But, how?" she chuckled as she pointed to him,

"It's because of you."

"Me?" she laughed again,

"You told everyone that you touched the Dragon Tear right?" he nodded, "And let here you are, full human; on the outside." Brandon gasp, he knew what she was saying now, he was human yes; but with the inside of a dragon. "It seemed that you held on it long enough to give you as I call it Dragon Balls," she chuckled, "And this allowed you to breed with Saira with Saira to give you Greydor, your son by blood Brandon!" Brandon was lost with words, he had a son; by blood. "Oh and I forgot," she smiled, "I seems since he half human half dragon, he learned a new trick." She got up and moved out of the way so that Brandon could see Greydor, standing on two legs. He wore long blue pants that hung to his ankles, his feet claws looking like human like feet, his chest held what a human would have, but nipple-less; a small four pack apes held tightly onto him. His head still held a face of a dragon, but now he held long black hair, with no horns. His wings were folded across his back as he stood still looking at Brandon; his father.

"Dad!" he ran over to Brandon and pulled him into a tight hug which caused him to groan, Greydor pulled away and chuckled, "Sorry dad," he said rubbing his head, "I didn't mean to do that to you."

Wow this story is comign to a end, but do not worry, this is the second last chapter anddddd the next story might be in ether Saira or Greydor POV i wounder who it will be?
