#17 of Inktober 2019

A short and hopefully sweet little word picture as things shift toward the upcoming holidays.

Loskra hummed to herself as she worked in her lab, mixing one alchemical substance with another, then waiting to see if the results were as she had hoped. She'd been working at this for a while and was very nearly done, just in time for the holidays.

With a few final checks, she decided it was done. Time to test out her new creations. She snuffed out the candles around the lab. The fading light soon gave way to the glow of her flasks, vials, and other containers of concoctions. A rainbow of colors danced across the walls, shifting and shimmering with magical energy. Just enough energy to be beautiful.

Satisfied with her work, the kobold carefully loaded her creations into a bag. These would be the perfect ornaments for a holiday celebration, for whoever would celebrate and whatever they were celebrating.
