Love is a beautiful thing pt. 2
((Here's part 2. Enjoy!))
Kei smiled at him gently and then stood up "Shiro...that's a nice name. Umm would you like to come over to my house for a bit? That is...if you're not busy or something.." He blushed a little looking to the side wondering something. He kneeled back down knowing that maybe he didn't want to move from where he sat "I can stay here as long as you want me to Shiro.."
Shiro struggled a bit, but eventually got to his feet, holding his head. When he went to take a step, he stumbled, losing his balance
Kei caught him before he fell down to the ground but realized that he wasn't that strong enough "You have to rest Shiro...umm I can take you to wherever you want to go..if you like.."
Shiro looked at the male for a moment, embarrassed that he had to be caught but grateful that Kei didn't let him fall. "If...it wouldn't be too much trouble...Could be maybe...Go to your place? I'm not necessarily welcome in my house right now..."
Kei looked at him and smiled "Sure of course you can come to my house.." He began to walk while supporting him. He began to wonder and then asked him "Shiro...why aren't you welcome at your house?"
Shiro looked away sadly. "My dad's been drinking. Whenever i'm around him, he lashes out at me for no reason and throws me around like a rag doll. I don't feel like dealing with that, today..."
Kei listened to his story and then grew in shock. He wouldn't know what it felt like since he never had parents to begin with. His own parents abandoned him at an orphanage but remained quiet about that "Shiro...please stay with me...if you like...you can stay forever..."
Hearing this made him look at Kei in complete disbelief. This tiger, who he had only met a few moments ago, was asking him to live with him. He was almost speechless, feeling like it took an eternity to find the right words to say. He looked down again, shaking his muzzle slightly. "I couldn't do that...I wouldn't want to be a burden in your life, too. I'd only be in the way..."
Kei looked at him and smiled "You wouldn't be a burden to me...besides...I could...use some company..I mean...I don't live with anyone. I live on my own since I was a cub. My parents abandoned me..I never heard of them but it's alright. I wouldn't mind it if you decide to stay with me..also because..hurting you like this is wrong...your father should stop drinking and taking it out on you. I want you to live in a safe environment."
Hearing Kei say all this made him blush deeply, easily readable on his white fur. He looked at Kei, his eyes full of sadness. Suddenly, almost instantly, He hugged Kei, his whole body shaking from trying to hold back tears. He had his arms wrapped around Kei awkwardly so he wouldn't fall as he continued to shake "Th-...Thank you. Thank you so much..."
Kei blushed deeply when he held him that way and smiled making sure not to drop him "You're welcome Shiro. It's okay...it's okay Shiro...you can cry...I can tell that you want to cry because you're shaking...please let it all out..it's not a weakness to cry..."
Hearing Kei hear this, all that's happened, all that was said, it all hit Shiro at once. It was too much for him to hold back and finally, he let go. Tears sprang from his eyes as he sobbed quietly, his shaking more fierce than before
((And that's it for ch. 2. Things are gonna start to get interesting soon, so stay tuned ^.-))
