"Alright; this should be it..."
Shu pushed through the thick foliage of the forest, the brown-haired male gliding one hand over the Pokéballs on his belt as he stepped into the clearing. His blue eyes scanned around, using what was left of the setting sun to look over his map and confirm that this was indeed the right location.
Nodding slightly to himself in confirmation, he set his pack down nearby and waited. If all the legends and stories were true, this was where needed to be to challenge the legendary Pokémon. Oh sure; stories of mythical Pokémon were a dime a dozen, and he dismissed most of them as tall tales if not outright fabrications. There was one story he'd heard repeatedly, though, and today he was going to find out if it was true.
He'd done everything he was supposed to; enter the forest at the crack of dawn and reach the clearing in the middle before sunset. He didn't engage in a fight with any of the other Pokémon he'd run across, which a quick spray of Repel took care of for the most part. Still, things did get a little dicey when he nearly stumbled into a hive of Beedrills and caught some Poison Needles in his attempt to flee. Luckily it wasn't anything a dose of Antidote and his first aid kit couldn't handle.
Judging from how he'd managed to make it to the clearing, he'd assumed he done everything correctly. The un-natural fog that started to roll in as soon as the sun dipped below the horizon was confirmation; he'd done it! He'd be able to battle, and maybe even capture a legendary Pokémon! Shu tried to tamper down his growing excitement as he wondered where it would approach from.
The only thing Shu was uncertain of was what exactly this Pokémon WAS. The stories referred to, "her" as, "a creature of divine beauty", but that was about all he'd be able to find out for certain. The location, the steps to meet her, and the gender were all consistent, but the exact species of said Pokémon were never confirmed across the various telling's of the tale. He was just going to have to wait and see.
WHOOSH!
A branch over his head was suddenly alit in flame, making Shu jump and move toward the center of the clearing. The large ball of flame sat on the edge of the branch, wobbling and waving about before two more balls of fire split out from either side and lit more branches on the surrounding trees. Shu's concerns that he was about to be stuck in the middle of a raging forest fire were quickly quelled as he realized the flames remained on the edge of the branches where they landed, never moving down the branch or even burning the outstretched branches where they landed.
Shu watched at the entire edge of the clearing was lit in a similar way, the flames settling on branches that were too perfectly spaced apart to be anything but intentionally set up for this. He was probably about to encounter a fire type Pokémon; seemed like a reasonable guess at this point. He couldn't recall any kind of Pokémon that had THIS kind of control of fire, though. He felt real heat coming off one of the balls of fire as he held his hand close to it, confirming for himself this wasn't an illusion or psychic trick being played on his mind.
The entire clearing was soon ringed with flames, offering plenty of illumination even at the stars started to come out above. The two flames met at the edge of the clearing opposite Shu, leaping together to form one final flame in the set that surrounded the clearing. So bright was the flame that Shu almost missed a smaller but still noticeable burst of flame coming from the woods just beyond the clearing across from him. As it drew closer and closer, though, Shu realized it must have been the Pokémon he'd come seeking and readied himself for battle.
The flame emerged first, on the end of a wooden stick that looked something like a wand. Said wand was held in a black furred hand, which emerged from a long tuft of red fur that covered the rest of the Pokémon's arms. That and similar tufts of fur along its legs made it look like the Pokémon was wearing something akin to a wizard's robe out of a fantasy movie or video game with the design of a pair of flames on either of its legs in a lighter color. Black fur covered feet and the bushy yellow tail confirmed Shu's suspicions; this was a Delphox. Shu started to reach for a Pokéball as he thought through his battle plan for this Pokémon...
...That... WAS a Pokémon, right? Maybe it was just the flames playing tricks on his eyes, but as Shu's eyes traveled upward, he could swear this Delphox was starting to look much different than the average Delphox. For one thing it seemed taller than most; Shu was about 6 feet tall himself and this Delphox looked to be almost as tall as he. The tufts of fur coming out of its pointed ears didn't seem quite so large either, the muzzle a bit shorter as well compared to what Shu expected. As he eyes traveled down its neck, the strips of fur on the front of its chest seemed to be higher up than normal as they laid atop...
"...Breasts?" Shu was a young man, but he was pretty sure it wasn't just him thinking with the balls below his belt instead of the one on them. This Pokémon was female, and humanoid for some reason. The yellow fur flowing down her neck curved around the edges of her chest, displaying a healthy amount of cleavage to the young man. If the fact that this Pokémon was stacked was strange, what happened next really threw Shu off his game.
"Hello, Shu." It could speak in a human tongue, too?! That wasn't entirely impossible, but it was certainly rare enough. She giggled slightly at the stunned reaction on the human's face. "Surprised?"
"Y-Yes, slightly..." That was putting it mildly. In fact, he was so stunned was he that it took Shu a moment to realize something that should have been equally as shocking. "Wait; how do you know my name?!"
"Aw, you don't remember me? How sad; we did talk all last night..." Shu raised an eyebrow at that; he would've remembered an encounter with a talking Pokémon. The Delphox looked disappointed before a sudden dawn of realization hit her. "Oh; of course!"
The Delphox began to wave her wand in a rectangle shape as the tip of it glowed, forming something like a doorway made of fire in front of her. The air in the doorway shimmered and rippled like the surface of a lake, making the Delphox slightly hard to see on the other side. The Pokémon(well, it was part Pokémon but also human, so she was kind of a Hybrid?) stepped through the shimmering gate, only it wasn't the Hybrid that emerged on the other side. It was a human woman, a very familiar looking one in fact.
"Joy?!" The Delphox giggled as she twirled slightly, showing off her traditional Pokémon Center uniform. It had struck Shu as slightly odd that the Nurse Joy at the Pokémon Center he'd spent the night at before had hair that was more red than pink, but it hadn't really thought that closely about it at the time. He was the only person in the Center that night, so he and Joy had spent quite a bit of time talking and getting to know each other. It was her who'd confirmed Shu's suspicions about the legendary Pokémon and gave him the old journal that spelled out the steps he would need to take to meet her.
"So now you remember." The Delphox Hybrid stepped back through the portal and tapped it with her wand, causing it to disperse as she returned to her normal form. "It's alright; that old Pokémon Center was decommissioned long ago since people mostly stopped coming to the area. I bought it back online and used it to keep in touch with the outside world through the occasional odd visitor and the internet. You can call me Izuna."
"But...how? Were you a human who gained Pokémon traits, or a Pokémon that became partially human? I have so many questions!" Shu was still having trouble wrapping his mind around all of this.
"I'm sure you do, and they'll be answered in time. But first, you came here for a battle, did you not?" Izuna held herself in something of a battle pose, Shu forcing himself not to pay attention to how her chest bounced as she readied herself.
Shu had been having some second thoughts about this; she was at least partially human, after all. Would it be alright for him to try and fight, maybe even capture Izuna? It did feel more than a little odd, but Izuna certainly seemed prepared for a battle and must have understood the consequences of it. Even if he was unsure about capturing her, at the very least Shu couldn't pass up an opportunity to battle such a creature.
"Alright..." Steeling his nerves, Shu made his first pick. "Come on out, Blaze!"
Shu didn't seem worried that his opponent might have tampered or harmed his team in anyway when she was supposed to be taking care of them, and he was right to be so trusting. Izuna was an honorable woman after all and would never stoop to such underhanded tactics. For Mew's sake; she'd even wiped her own memory of treating his Pokémon just so she wouldn't have an unfair advantage knowing what to expect in their coming battle. Still, during their talk that night she did learn Shu had an affinity for fire type Pokémon, and she was not too surprised when the Arcanine emerged as Shu's first pick.
"Arcanine!" Blaze proudly shouted as he emerged. He looked quickly around at his surroundings, his eyes going wide with surprise as he saw Izuna. Shu didn't need to be able to speak Pokégo(the universal language of Pokémon that sounds to humans like they're just repeating their species names in various ways) to understand the confused look Blaze had given him as he looked back at his trainer; he clearly had no idea what was going on, either.
"It's a long story, Blaze, but think of it as just another battle, O.K?" The fiery canine looked back toward his Hybrid opponent, still a little unsure of what to make of this.
"Yes, please do not hold back on my account." Izuna reassured her canine competition. "It's been a while since I had a good battle to keep me entertained.
Blaze though that over for a moment, then shrugged; if that's what she wanted, he'd give it to her. Shu was close enough with his Pokémon that he trusted them to make their own choices in battle for the most part. Unless he saw a particular opportunity that they may have missed in the heat of the battle or they were about to be blindsided by an attack, he mostly stayed quiet so they could focus on the fight. When Blaze began to charge forward toward Izuna, he nodded silently in approval.
Izuna was not too surprised about the direct assault; most Delphox's physical abilities were very weak compared to their special attacks and defense. Blaze probably trusted that being a fire-type himself would allow him to weather her own fire attacks while he got in for an up close and personal fight. She could already see Blaze bracing himself for a fire blast of some sort as she pointed her wand in his direction and started to mutter an arcane chant. Unbeknownst to the Arcanine, however, she wasn't aiming at him.
If Blaze hadn't put his head down to brace for the attack, he might have noticed the ground a few feet in front of Izuna was started to glow and grow very warm. The formerly solid earth was starting to become soft and muddy, forming a giant puddle of something not unlike quicksand. Izuna had made a reasonable guess where exactly Blaze would jump and put all of his weight down in one spot so he could spring at her, which was right where the puddle was now forming. Instead of leaping in the air toward her when he set his feet, the Arcanine sunk deep into the muddy puddle.
"Blaze!" Shu called out to his friend as he briefly lost sight of him as the canine struggled in the strange puddle. Shu let out a sigh of relief when Blaze's head emerged back above the surface, only to get worried again when he saw Izuna making more movements out of the corner of his eye. The glow around Blaze had stopped, and the puddle had almost instantly returned to its normal earthen state. The Arcanine was trapped completely in the ground save for his head.
"I'd say he's unable to battle at this point, yes?" Izuna smiled as she knelt and petted the confused Pokémon's head. The earth was so tightly packed around Blaze he couldn't even move to try and dig himself out. At the same time, both Shu and his partner realized Izuna went easy on him; she could've made the earth solid when Blaze was first submerged, but waited until his head was back above the surface before doing so. If she hadn't, Blaze would've suffocated underground.
"Y-Yeah..." Shu gulped a little as he recalled Blaze. He was starting to worry he might be in over his head at this point, but it was still early in the fight. "Ember! Your turn!"
"Pyroar!" A female one, if the long curl of hair was any indication. Izuna thought Shu was smarter than that; oh well, guess she'd just have to show him the error of his wa-
"Ember! Use Hyper Voice as much as you can!"
"Hmm?" Izuna went from tilting her head in confusion to clutching her ears in pain at the resounding roar the fire lioness let out. So Shu did learn his lesson; it would be hard for her to work her spells if her concentration kept getting shattered by Hyper Voice. Izuna was becoming more certain of her choice of Shu for her future needs even as she fell to her knees, crying out in pain. Ember started making her move toward the downed Hybrid, letting out another Hyper Voice as Izuna tried to bring her wand up for a counter attack.
Hyper Voice seemed to be really doing a number on Izuna, to the point that Shu started to think she was exaggerating a little how bad it was really affecting her. Her howls of pain seemed almost comically overacted as Izuna thrashed about on the ground. Shu would learn in a second his suspicions were right her pain as Ember charged at Izuna for a Body Slam. Shu also learned that apparently not all spells needed to spoken as Izuna's paws dug into the earth in front of her.
The ground glowed as Izuna's paws dug in, though instead of a puddle the earth rose up in front of her. It looked almost like the same way someone would close an open garage door, but in reverse as Izuna seemed to pull the earth up to form a natural wall. Ember attempted to pull up as she saw the earthen barrier, unable to come to a complete stop and hitting the earthen barrier with some force. Though the earth wall held, so did Ember quickly shook off the brief stun and let out another Hyper Voice attack.
The earthen wall shook and started to crumble, and a paw swipe was enough to break the rest of it and reveal a cowering Izuna underneath. Ember wasted no time, flooding the ground around the downed Hybrid with a Flamethrower attack. Shu winced a little as he watched Izuna get surrounded by fire; sure, as a fire type herself it shouldn't hurt that much, but it still didn't look good to watch someone get completely engulfed in fire. Shu braced himself for the howls of pain... and was confused when he heard nothing.
"Ember, hold up!" Ember confusion at Shu's request was compounded only by what she saw when she stopped; the downed Hybrid, still in the same cowering position and seemingly untouched at all by her flames. Swiping a paw through Izuna's leg, Ember let out a yelp as it passed right through. It was an illusion!
The air behind Ember shimmered suddenly, revealing Izuna standing behind Ember with her wand pointed right at her head as she started another spell. Ember turned and used another Hyper Voice to disrupt her, only to let out a confused, "Roar?" as Izuna barely flinched in response. The lioness had no time to do anything else before Izuna finished her spell, Ember letting out a huge yawn as a sudden wave of drowsiness hit her. She was asleep before her head even touched the ground.
If Shu had a response, Izuna couldn't hear it. This wasn't her first battle after all, and an opponent trying to keep her from casting by using Hyper Voice or other similar attacks was something she'd encountered a few times before. The earthen wall she'd summoned wasn't just to buy her time, but also to give her some soft earth to make some improvised ear plugs. Still, Izuna was impressed Shu had thought to try that tactic so quickly.
"Looks like I was right to choose you after all, Shu..." Izuna couldn't hear Shu's response as he recalled Ember, taking a moment to clear the dirt from her ears. "So, who's next?"
"Who's next? Um..." Shu put aside his question of what Izuna meant by choosing him; this was still a battle, after all. He may have had an affinity for fire Pokémon, but Shu understood the need for some variety as well as he sent out his next choice. "Luca! Hope you're up for a fight!"
"Lucario!" The Aura Pokémon raised an eyebrow in surprise at his strange opponent, but otherwise treated the same as he would any other opponent as bowed toward her.
"A gentleman and a fighter, I see." Izuna bowed back, watching the Lucario forming its signature Steel Bone in his paw. "I'm not going to bother trying to hide my aura from you; I can tell that's a fool errand. In fact, if you'd be a dear and read it now..."
"You're letting him read your aura? Why would you... hey!" Shu's confusion as to why Izuna was doing was quickly replaced by his confusion when Luca came charging toward him instead of her, pushing his trainer hard. Shu stumbled and nearly fell as he was pushed into the edges of the clearing just outside the ring of torches while Izuna formed another one of those flame portals. "Luca, why are you?!..."
Luca shook his head and held up his paw to stop Shu as he tried to re-enter before quickly returning himself to the clearing. Izuna had finished up her spell as Luca started charging up an Aura Sphere, leaping through the portal in front of her as Luca fired off the glowing ball of energy. What looked like 6 duplicates of Izuna emerged from the portal as the Aura Sphere harmlessly passed through one of them. Well, that was fine; Luca could just track which was the real one by sensing her aura. He just needed moment to concentrate and focus...
"Lucario?!" What in Mew's name?! Izuna's aura was massive; in fact, it seemed to flood the entire clearing! Luca knees went a little wobbly as her aura threatened to overwhelm him with its sheer size. He could sense her initial plan to make clones and try to blend in with the randomly acting duplicates; he removed Shu from the battlefield just to be certain he wouldn't get caught in the crossfire. Luca had run into other opponents before who'd intentionally tried to flare their aura and make it look much stronger than it really was as an intimidation tactic, but he could see right through that. No; this aura was genuine. If anything, Izuna had been holding herself back during his initial read.
Luca was pretty sure the real Izuna was one of the three that were staying toward the center of the clearing, though even he wasn't 100% certain of that. Maybe if he focused he'd be able to fine tune his aura sense, but not without leaving himself completely vulnerable to do so. One of them was firing blasts into the sky, another was randomly punching and kicking at the air, and the third was running in a figure-eight pattern around the two of them endlessly. Maybe it was that one circling around the edge of the clearing or that one that was having a very intense fist fight with a tree, or maybe that one charging straight at him?...
No; he was certain she was one of those three in the middle. Luca moved to confront them, taking a casual swipe with his Bone at the one charging him and confirming his suspicions about an illusion as it harmlessly passed through her. The one firing blasts aimed a shot in his direction, though Luca felt no heat as the blast hit him; another illusion. Luca timed his strike so the one running in a loop and the one punching the air were lined up directly in front of him when he attacked.
The loop-running Izuna was first, Luca's bone passing clean through her and into the ground. That just left the one throwing physical attacks left; he had her! Using his bone like a pole vault, Luca launched himself in a kick toward what he was certain was the real Izuna... yes! She sidestepped his attack; surely it was the real one trying to protect herself! Luca had intentionally shortened his vaulting strike so he'd land directly behind Izuna if he missed; there was no way she'd be able to dodge again so quickly as he swung his bone in a wide arc behind him... and nearly fell on his butt as his momentum carried him completely through yet another illusion.
"Luca! Behind you!" Luca barely had time to notice the bits of bark on the paws that wrapped around his waist. The real Izuna, the one that had been punching the tree, wrapping her paws around the off balance Lucario's waist. The speed with which she moved, the timing she needed to catch him in the brief moment he was vulnerable, the ease with which she lifted him; just because he was on the receiving end of her attack didn't mean the Lucario wasn't impressed with Izuna's physical prowess. He would've even complimented her on her form if he could've seen it as bent her knees and pulled Luca up and over with a suplex that would've put Pokemon on the PWWF(Pokemon World Wrestling Federation) to shame as she dropped Luca on his head.
Izuna didn't offer the Lucario a chance to recover as dove atop him, wrapping her arm around his neck in a chokehold. She was careful to leave an arm free for Luca and not apply much pressure, making sure she didn't really hurt him while also making it clear she could if she wished to. Luca was a proud fighter, and not one to back down easily, but even he had to admit defeat. When his paw tapped the ground repeatedly, Izuna smiled and released him from her grip.
When Shu commented on her suplex, she smiled and held her arms under her chest. "Magic's my specialty, but I can be VERY physical when needed..."
Shu coughed nervously and tried to ignore what she meant by that and the way she seemed to be presenting her chest to him. Surely she wasn't... I mean, she's part Pokémon!...but also human, so...Shu shook his head; he had to focus. Half his team was down already and she'd barely taken a scratch. True, even the one's who'd lost were still technically able to fight, but only after they'd either been put into a spot where they couldn't fight anymore or they'd conceded defeat.
"Zolo! Give it your best!" Izuna smiled a little at the Zoroark that emerged. He seemed like a fairly fine fellow fennec. Still, these battles were getting a little long for her taste. Best to start wrapping them up a little faster so she could get to the REAL fun.
Knowing the Zoroark's were lacking a lot for ranged attack options, Izuna had plenty of time to use the tip of her wand to draw a circle around her and wait. A Zoroark's specialty was its ability to make illusions that were indistinguishable from reality, and Izuna could spend all night chasing shadows as illusions of Zolo started to split out from the original and began to jump all around the clearing. As good as she was with magic and illusions herself, she'd never beat someone who specialized in them. She lost track of the real Zolo with the first couple of seconds and had no hope of finding him again.
So she just bathed the entire clearing in a column of fire to make sure she hit him.
Shu had to make a break for the edge of the clearing himself as flames emerged from the circle Izuna had drawn around herself and rapidly filled the clearing. The dozens of illusionary Zolo's didn't react as the flames washed over them, but the real one who'd been charging in couldn't react in time to the approaching column of fire and was quickly engulfed. The illusionary one's disappeared when Zolo lost consciousness, overwhelmed by the intense heat and pain. At least consciousness was all he lost; well, that and probably some fur as Shu recalled him.
"It's up to you now, Charlie!" Izuna smiled at the arrival of the Charizard that came next. To have half of his team made up entirely of one type just cemented in her mind further that Shu was exactly what she was looking for. Just two more and it was done. Still, she couldn't afford to get too careless now.
While Izuna was taking things seriously, the way she deflected Charlie's blasts seemed carefree as she casually flicked away the smaller balls of fire with her wand as they got close. Shu could swear he even saw her yawning at one point as she knocked away fireballs with ease. At least Charlie seemed safe from counter attacks himself way up in the air, having plenty of time to dodge her blasts while keeping away from her earth-altering abilities. If it came down to an endurance battle, Charlie might have a chance.
What Charlie didn't have was the ability to withstand what amounted to anti-aircraft fire as Izuna pointed with her free hand toward one of the burning branches lining the trees and then toward Charlie as he strafed the air above. The fireball sitting on that branch shot toward Charlie like a rocket, which he avoided with a neat little roll through the air. What he couldn't avoid was the massive explosion that occurred just behind him, the sheer force of the blast nearly knocking him out of the air. He managed to recover in time just to catch another blast right in the chest, followed by a third as he tumbled through the air.
Izuna might've been the one who knocked Charlie out of the sky, but she was also the one who bought him sort of gently back to earth. A quick upward flick of her wand created a heated column of air to act as a thermal updraft and slow Charlie's fall from bone crushing to merely bruising. The impact combined with the beating he'd suffered in the air was enough to knock Charlie out cold, forcing Shu down to his last Pokémon as he recalled Charlie. His entire team was nearly wiped out, and the best he'd done so far was make her ears ring for a bit!
"Sammy! Last but not least!" Shu's Samurott roared proudly as he emerged onto the battlefield. Surely even Izuna would have some difficulty with a water type, right?
"SAMURO-GACK!" Shu caught a brief glimpse of something red and glowing shoot into Sammy's mouth mid roar, something which he must've swallowed if the way he was gagging and coughing was any indication.
"There we go. I assumed you must've had at least one water type. Thank you for the battles, Shu." Izuna bowed slightly to show as she slid her wand into the fur of her arm.
"But Sammy can still..." Shu's assertion was cut off as he noticed what first seemed like smoke coming out of Sammy's mouth. His formidable Pokemon was sweating profusely and looking very uncomfortable. When Sammy opened his mouth, it looked and sounded like a burst of steam from a whistling tea kettle. Shu fumbled Sammy's Pokéball as he tried to get his partner back into a safe space before he boiled over.
That was just the distraction Izuna was looking for as she produced something resembling a Pokéball of her own, at least what looked like one at first glance from beneath her fur. As she pressed the button and enlarged it to a throwable size, strange glyphs and runes began to light up and form all around it. It didn't look or function like a normal Pokéball and would be worthless at capturing a Pokemon. Good thing a Pokemon wasn't her target.
Shu had just managed to recall Sammy when he felt the soft impact of getting bopped in the head with something. Rubbing the sore spot on his head, he saw Izuna's strange Pokéball floating briefly in the air in front of him. It opened, there was a blinding flash of light, and then he was gone.
The next thing Shu realized, he was no longer standing in the big, cool forest. In fact, he was in a much smaller, much warmer... chamber? He didn't know how else to describe it; he was surrounding by walls that looked to be made of red stone with seams of...MAGMA running through them?! No wonder it was so hot in here!
"What's going on?! Izuna?! Where am I?!" Shu didn't think he was claustrophobic, but he could barely had enough room to turn around in this chamber. There didn't seem to be any entrance or exit; he was completely sealed in. Shu failed to notice how he didn't burn his hands as he pawed helplessly at the walls of the chamber, though he did notice the odd overall shape. It was kind of oval, with a wider base at the bottom that rounded up into a dome over his head.
"...It's an egg. I'm in an egg!" A giant egg made of stone and magma, but yes, an egg none the less. This realization seemed to trigger something as Shu felt something hot and wet pooling around his feet. Looking down revealed a molten pool of magma slowly filling the bottom the egg, covering his shoes and more as he tried frantically and uselessly to escape. Oddly, while the magma filling the egg was certainly hot, it didn't seem to burn Shu as he expected it would.
"Izuna?! What's going on?!" Shu called out as he heard the Delphox's voice, which seemed to be coming from inside his own head as the magma started to fill up to his knees. "Help me, please!"
_"B-But..." Shu shook his head as the magma reached his waist. If he didn't burn alive, surely he'd drown if the egg filled, right?
"B-but-bluph bluph!" Shu sputtered as the magma filled the egg, leaving him suspended in the magma-like liquid. He clamped his hands over his mouth as he tried to hold his breath, his face starting to turn blue as he started running out of air.
Breathe?! How could he breathe in magma?! Eventually he had no choice as he instinctively gasped and felt...well, he didn't really know how to describe it. The liquid magma filled his lungs, but it also seemed to soothe his need for oxygen. In fact, it felt kind of good as the liquid settled in the pit of his stomach.
As strange as it was, Shu couldn't help but do as he was told. The liquid seemed to wrap around him like a blanket, recalling for him the nights he and his team would sit around a roaring campfire and just hang out after a long day of training and battling. They were his Pokemon, sure, but they were also his family. Shu was starting to feel sleepy as the warmth in his stomach started to fill his body._
Shu nodded dimly in response, his eyes started to shift color from blue to a brighter shade of yellow. On some level Shu knew he was being manipulated, but mostly Izuna was right. He WAS much happier in the company of Pokemon, especially his team. If she could help with that, could he really say no? No, no he couldn't.
Shu's nose began to wrinkle; it felt like he had to sneeze the way his nose was twitching now. Shu didn't realize it was just his desire to sneeze, but his nose itself that was growing. The upper half of his jaw started to follow his stretching nose as his pale skin started to turn red. At a distance it might have just looked like his skin was turning red, but a closer inspection would show it was thin, hair like feathers poking through as the upper half of his lip curled forward into a sharp looking beak.
Shu began to squirm a little in his egg; he was starting to feel uncomfortable in his own skin. Everywhere was itching, like something was trying to tear itself out of him. Even his nails felt itchy, yet his body felt so heavy and tired he couldn't move to address it. His nails finally found some relief as they grew gray and sharp at the edge of his fingers, looking almost talon like in their shape. As odd as the nails were, what happened next seemed even stranger.
When Shu flexed his fingers, the skin of his hands split and shed off him like how an Ekans would shed its skin. Instead of just more skin, though, underneath were layers of gray ridges that were stiff yet still flexible enough to be called hands, and also somehow larger than they were before as well. The ridges continued all the way down his hand and wrist to his forearms as the shed skin dissolved almost instantly upon separating from his body.
Just before reaching his elbows the talon material stopped forming, pausing briefly as pressure started to build up just beyond that point under Shu's skin. His skin felt like it was being blown up like a balloon being stretched past its limits as expanded. Giving a flex of his biceps made his skin and sleeves shred almost instantly, revealing arms covered in the same red hair-like feathers but also absolutely bursting with muscle. Shu's bicep felt almost as large as a cannonball when he flexed, not to mention almost as hard. His triceps tripled from their normal size a moment later to balance out his powerful limbs.
Shu's normally brown hair was starting to grow white, though it had never looked healthier or fuller before. In fact, it began to grow and spill out all over his neck, down his back and all across his neck; even under his arms as strands reached down past his rear. This was accentuated all the more as Shu began to breathe heavily, his and back inflating in a similar manner to his arms. More skin flaked off his shoulders, revealing more rock-hard and red feather covered muscle bursting through his skin.
Shu let out something between a groan and a roar as he leaned his head back and thrust his chest forward. The thick white hair covering them did little to conceal the meaty pectorals that burst through what was left of Shu's shirt and skin, two rock hard slabs of muscle. His back filled out in a similar manner, so hard that along with the snow white hair it could be mistaken for a snow capped mountain range. When he bought his head back up, Shu could feel the edges of his face now had points that were sticking out past the back of his skull, four on each side and roughly space equally apart sort of like...
Shu suddenly clenched his stomach as it began to gurgle and shake in a most uncomfortable manner. As he pulled his legs tightly against himself, Shu's shoes began to dissolve and reveal feet with a similar structure to his hands. That continued up just past his ankles, though his attention went to his stomach as it felt like a bomb went off in his gut, making his stomach blow up almost cartoonishly. The tightness caused by the explosion remained as his stomach flattened due to the thick rack of abs Shu now sported.
His feet had gained a talon structure like his hands, though as the changes worked up his legs something felt much different, unlike anything else Shu had experienced this far. The veins under his skin began to glow a deep molten red, crawling working up his calves. Even through his clothes and skin the veins were visible with a bright orange-red glow, burning like nothing else that he had experienced so far did. His calves remained the same size at first as the veins started to work up to his quads, though something else was happening to them.
The rest of Shu's body was massive and ripped, but in terms of a human physique not unobtainable through more conventional means. The same could not be said for his legs; his calves felt like... well, almost like they were melting within his skin. The individual muscle fibers felt like they were breaking down into a clay like substance. Just as he thought his calves might become a completely useless pile of mush, the glow that had taken over his veins started to seep in the entirety of his calves.
Shu could swear he felt every individual cell of muscle in his calves being coated in their own lava like heat before soaking up the glow like a sponge. The glow disappeared from his calves briefly, which then began to shake and quiver like they were each experiencing their own personal Earthquake attack. His quads started to follow suit as his calves rumbled and bulged noticeably even though his skin, even through his clothes that were at this point still hanging on. At least, they did for about a second before his calves exploded.
An explosion was the best way to describe it really, even if it was more like an explosion of power. The formerly mush-like cells exploded in size, revealing more red-feather like hairs as Shu's calves exploded to a size that might make a fully grown Rapidish envious. As big as they were in size, their strength and hardness was increased exponentially so. The jaws and claws of the most powerful Pokémon Shu could imagine wouldn't even be able to break the skin of his calves.
Not to be outdone, Shu's quads quickly moved to catch up as if they were jealous of the attention his calves were getting. Starting from his knee and working upward, thick columns of power burst through his skin and clothes. As they pulsed and swelled, Shu could already see the things he could do with those legs. He would crush fallen logs and rocks just by stepping on them. He'd turn small boulders to dust... no, DIAMONDS if he crushed them between his legs. Kicking down a tree wouldn't be a problem as his thighs started to fight for space as they pressed against each other. In fact, he was going to have to hold himself back to keep from igniting the air and sending flaming lumber flying around with each strike.
Not that he could really question it anyway, but Shu would've quickly realized what she meant as his cock began to feel tight. He'd gotten erections before, of course; he was male, after all. Still, he'd never had one this uncomfortable before as his cock started to stretch and strain. It didn't help that his testicles were also starting to swell between his legs, making him squirm uncomfortably as the thong like material that was what was left of his pants began to throttle him. Luckily for Shu, the sudden hardening and bulging of his butt made the back of his pants tear and offer him some relief.
His cock didn't seem all that much different; a bit larger and deep red even though it wasn't erect, but otherwise it seemed normal save for the white feather-hair that had replaced his normal pubic hair. His nuts were different, his Hybrid balls about as big as enlarged Pokéballs and covered in red feather-hair. Either way, he was a masculine monster. Surely Izuna would like that...
Shu's eyes, which had been closed peacefully despite his changes, suddenly shot open. He was summoned; he HAD to go.
WHAM!
Even suspended in the fluid as he was, the now fully Hybrid Blaziken easily delivered a quick powerful enough to cause a spiderweb of cracks in the stone wall. The Blaziken shook his head as the magma fluid drained, sending bits of it flying from his snow white mane. Once his arms were free of the fluid, he followed up with a one-two series of punches on the crack that made the whole egg start to shake and crumble.
WHAM! WHAM!
Shu was too busy gripping the sides of the holes he'd made and tearing himself free to realize she'd called him a different name. The golden light washed over and blinded the Blaziken temporarily as the egg fell to pieces around him before...
"There you are, Guren."
The brawny Blaziken blinked as his vision started to focus. Why did his head feel so fuzzy and strange? Something felt wrong with this situation, but what?... Oh, of course!
"Forgive me, Mistress." Guren immediately fell to one knee, bowing his head as he felt Izuna's soft hand gently stroking the underside of his beak. "I meant no disrespect not bowing immediately in your presence."
"It's O.K., my guardian." Izuna smiled, her fingers tracing lightly over the rippled shoulders of her Blaziken bodyguard. "On your feet now."
Izuna licked her chops as Guren rose, loving how even the slightest movement made her new guardian's muscles ripple and bulge. Veins pulsed visibly along his arms and legs as the thin, hair-like red feathers clung to his sweat soaked skin. His body felt as hot as a forge, his rock solid abs helping create that illusion as Izuna ran her paws over each bump of his rippling 8 pack. And while Luca might have been the one using Steel Bone earlier, Guren half erect cock was looking almost as hard and much more attractive to Izuna.
"Mistress? Did something happen?" Guren's question shook Izuna from her lustful gaze as he looked over the damaged clearing. "You weren't hurt, were you?"
"Oh, of course not. I just had a friendly little competition with a trainer. He's gone... for now, at least." Izuna murred as she slowly gripped Guren's bulging bicep, pressing her chest against him as she did. "He'll come back soon enough, but for now it's just you and me."
"I'm relieved that you're not hurt, Mistress. Still, I wish you'd summoned me. It is my duty to protect you, after all." Guren's cock twitched as a growing sense of musk filled the air. "If any harm had come to your body, I would never forgive myself."
"Well, my body is just fine as you can see..." Izuna smiled as Guren nodded, feeling his claws digging lightly into her hips as she slid her arms around his neck. "But if you wish to make amends, there's something you can do right now to prove your loyalty to me..."
"Oh?" He wouldn't act without an order from his Mistress, but the way she was rubbing up against his personal Pokéballs below his waist told Guren pretty much what to expect. "And what is that, Mistress?"
Guren lifted Izuna up in his paws, the Delphox practically quivering with anticipation. She had a loyal, muscular monster who would obey her every word. His life was devoted to serving her and taking care of her every need. He would perform any task she required of him, and right now there was one task that she required more than anything else as she leaned up and whispered in his ear.
"Breed me until I can't walk straight."
"As you wish, Mistress." Izuna let out a small yelp as Guren lifted her hips up, positioning his cock right against the edge of her vaginal folds. Izuna's eyes went wide as she looked at what had to be at least a foot of cock that was almost as thick as her wrist. Even with her magic she was wondering if she could take it all as the head slowly pushed inside her. Inch after inch slowly stretched her open, her vagina stretched so tightly around Guren's cock she could swear she felt the individual veins of his penis throbbing against her as she sunk deeper and deeper onto Guren.
It was almost as painful as it was pleasureful, and just when she thought Guren might spear clean through her she felt their hips meeting as the last of his cock sunk into her. Both Hybrid's took a moment to pant and get used to the feeling, though their lustful gazes at each other made it clear it was a feeling they both quite enjoyed. The differing structures of their mouths meant it took a few seconds for them to figure out how to kiss as they licked and nuzzled against each other. Guren eventually tilted his head so his beak could lock over Izuna's muzzle, the fox Pokemon moaning as even Guren's tongue felt powerful as it explored her mouth.
The two continued to make out as Guren slowly moved the pair toward a nearby tree, pausing their lick locking when Izuna's hands roamed over Guren's chiseled chest. Guren smiled and flexed his pecs to give her better access as she explored his chest and shoulders, Izuna's own chest bouncing softly with each heated breath. Dear Mew, he was so powerful... and his cock! Guren wasn't even holding up with anything other than his dick for a moment, and it ALONE was strong enough to hold her weight upright!
The force Guren used to press her up against the tree was probably the strongest blow Izuna had taken all night, the tree bark crunching slightly under her as Guren pressed himself firmly against her. She was in charge, though the way she whimpered as Guren slowly slid his length out of her one would be forgiven for thinking she was the submissive one as she tugged at Guren's mane. Guren's claws held her rear firmly as Izuna's legs slid around his waist, more for comfort than support. Her whimpering gasps turned to a low moan of pleasure as Guren filled her again.
Izuna gasped as Guren's beak began to nip lightly at her chest, especially when his tongue started to lick and encircle her hardening nipples. While his mouth worked her chest, his cock worked her insides as he began a slow, steady rhythm of thrusting into his Mistress. It seemed his every push was perfect, hitting all the right spots and making her squirm in pleasure in almost no time. Her moistening cunt made it even easier for Guren to slide into her, creating an endless feedback loop of pleasure for the Delphox Hybrid.
The woman whose mind was usually filled with ancient incantations and could warp reality at a whim had only one thing on her mind right now; pleasure. She panted as she looked up at her mate, feeling his adoration and devotion to her as she felt his powerful body surrounding her. Any woman, whether they be Hybrid like her or human(or hell, probably even Pokémon) would've gladly born his children just for the chance to be his mate. The only knowledge hotter than that to her now was that none of those women would have a chance; he was hers and hers alone.
"A-AHH!" Izuna let out a gasp as a particularly strong thrust sent her into a mini orgasm, clenching tight onto Guren's shoulders with her paws as her vagina tightened around his cock. Neither gave the slightest bit of yield, though Izuna felt a new warmth within in her as Guren's precum started to leak from his cock. At least, she THOUGHT it was precum; it leaked like a fountain out of him, though he didn't seem to be losing any steam. If anything, he started to really fuck her now.
"Thank you, Mistress." Guren whispered into Izuna's pointed ear as his testicles started to tighten. His deep, baritone voice was almost as orgasm inducing as his cock. "Thank you for allowing me to serve at your pleasure, and to serve you pleasure."
Izuna could only nod her approval, her ability to speak limited to yips and moans of pleasure at this point. She was still coming down off the small orgasm she'd had already, and Guren was quickly pushing her toward another one as his thrusts slowed ever so slightly. He was waiting for her to cum first without even asking; damn, did she have a fine bodyguard! Guren would only be able to hold on a bit longer, but thankfully for both Izuna was closer as she threw her head back and cried out loud enough to shake the branches above as she truly came.
Izuna was certain she said something as her pussy spasmed around her mate's member, though it wasn't anything intelligible as her orgasm wiped away any conscious thought. All she could feel was the physical power of her mate, his burning desire for her, and the fire poker that was his cock buried deep inside her. She'd been without a mate for far too long; she couldn't remember the last time anybody had stoked her fires the way Guren was now. When he pulled her down onto him tightly, she felt his seed begin to quench her smoldering desires for the first time in ages.
Izuna also felt something else besides Guren's cum flooding her as he came; she felt his loyalty to her become a certain thing. Guren was hers now, and would be forever. Eventually the original Shu would come back in some form, and while he wouldn't be exactly the same as he was prior to her capturing him, none of this would've worked if he hadn't been receptive to it on some level. Besides, he was getting quite the benefit out of the arrangement as well.
Guren's orgasm seemed almost as long as her own; if Izuna had been in heat, she was certain she would've been pregnant several times over with all the cum flooding her womb. Even her stomach felt like it was bulging slightly with all the semen Guren was pumping into her. Not that she was entirely opposed to the idea of being pregnant, mind you. She was more concerned that Guren wouldn't be able to take her as hard as he was now if she was full of his children.
Izuna could feed his seed and her vaginal fluids leaking down her thighs and over Guren's hips as she finally felt his orgasm start to taper off, their mixed juices simply having nowhere else to go with the Delphox filled nearly to bursting. Both panted heavily in exhaustion, though if the way Guren's cock remained as hard as ever inside Izuna he wasn't too wiped out to keep going. He was respectful of his Mistress, of course, and merely held her close as she recovered herself. When her breathing returned to something closer to a normal pace, he spoke again.
"Can you walk, Mistress?" He asked as he nuzzled her muzzle gently.
"I believe so, Guren." Izuna smiled as she felt Guren ease himself down onto his knees, gently pulling her along with him onto the soft grass beneath him. "That means you still have work to do."
"Your wish is my command, Mistress..." Izuna let out a happy yelp as their lustful mating continued, and would continue to do so for quite a while. Even when she was too exhausted to walk their rutting didn't stop, a side benefit of Guren's powerful legs The two were enraptured with each other, everything else in the world lost to them as they mated long into the night. Nothing stopped them; not the rising sun, not the fluttering of the Spearow's overhead; nothing.
Not even the sound of Shu's Pokéballs, which had followed him out of Izuna's and had gained similar strange markings similar to the one she'd captured Shu in, opening to reveal several more very confused Hybrids...
