Been awhile, but I recently found a way to work on my stories at work! so now I can post a little more often since I have little else at work to distract like I do at home! :D

Chapter 2

*Zack woke up slowly in his bed and groaned, his paw coming up to his forehead. A massive headache was throbbing through his head as he growled,"Damn, what the hell happened to me? That was just a dream right?" *

He groaned as along with the headache, he felt cold and hot. He realized he was naked, but he normally slept nude so this didn't surprise him. His fur was matted with sweat and he grimaced. "Did I catch a cold..." He questioned as he shivered.

*"No, you've caught something much better though." A sudden voice answered him and Zack's eyes snapped open as his heart raced as he realized he was not alone in his room. There, leaning in front of his bed against the desk along the wall, was the white and green eyed werewolf. *

** Zack couldn't speak, his muzzle hanging open in surprise as the werewolf stared back at him. He wasn't wearing a single thing, completely naked for every detail of his anatomy for Zack to see. After several seconds, Zack finally managed to scramble off his bed, now showing his own anatomy to the werewolf as he shouted. "Who the heck are you!? What are you doing here?"**

** Quickly, the werewolf was waving his paws, motioning for Zack to calm down. "Hey relax, stop shouting, no one knows I'm here."**

** "No fuck that!" Zack shouted again, "Werewolves aren't real! What the heck are you!?"**

** The wolf was going to continue shouting but the silver haired lycanthrope suddenly leapt across the room and tackled Zack to the ground, one paw quickly seizing him around the neck and held him to the floor. Zack gagged, the force of the paw just enough to let him breath raggily but unable to speak. The werewolf growled loudly while staring into his eyes, teeth bared. The creature's other massive paw suddenly seized Zack's sheath and balls, admittedly only barely managing to do so however.**

** "You yell and scream again, I'll make sure you never experience an orgasm again in your life." The werewolf snarled, "Understand?"**

** Zack took a moment but began nodding rapidly with his eyes wide, ears pinned back. The large lycan stopped snarling and pulled his paws away, but he hovered over Zack a bit as he stared into his eyes once more, the fierceness softening in them that made the college student become lost and unable to look away. Those eyes...**

** Slowly, the werewolf sat back on the floor and Zack sat up, still staring right into the other's eyes.**

** "You recognize the eyes?" The werewolf asked after a few minutes passed with them just staring.**

** "They're...." Zack started, unsure how the eyes seemed familiar.**

** The lycan tilted his head, a slight grin on his muzzle, "Like yours?" He questioned, and Zack blinked.**

** "Yeah...they are like mine..." Zack said, calming down significantly. He then shook his head. This was crazy, but opening his eyes again and still seeing the werewolf there before him, he couldn't deny that it was real. What was going on?**

** "I am Luran." The werewolf stated when Zack seemed lost in thought, "I came to find you."**

** Zack stared at him, confusion evident on his face, "Find me?"**

** "For you who have the same eyes as me." Luran nodded, "The same eyes as an Alpha."**

** The wolf didn't understand, "What are you talking about?" His head throbbed and he growled, bringing a paw up to cradle his head.**

** "What do you remember of last night?" Luran asked.**

** "Hmmm..." Zack groaned as he tried to think. His head felt hot, brief flashes returning to him of the night before. "I was attacked...? Something really dark, reptile head. then suddenly werewolves-" He cut off and looked around rapidly through his room, "There were others with you."**

** "They are waiting outside." Luran assured him, "You will met them later on, but I don't want to overload you while you're recovering. What else do you remember?"**

** "Um...One of you, red furred, fell on me, his fang scratched my knee." Zack was starting to remember more as the throbbing of his head faded and words were returning to his vocabulary. "I ran into the workstation, then...just pain, so much pain."**

** "You blacked out from it." Luran informed him. "You weren't injured, but you were transformed. You turned into one of us. The fact that you understand me right now is proof of it, my words would sound like nothing but growls and barks to you otherwise."**

** "I...became one of you?" Zack repeated, staring at Luran.**

** "That's right. You became one of us, if only briefly." Luran smiled at him, "You turned back after a few minutes when we found you passed out. It was most amazing, you're the first nonwerewolf to be turned in over a thousand years."**

** "Wait." The silver furred wolf suddenly stated, holding up his paw, "I'm completely lost on this. Why were you trying to find me?"**

** "Your eyes." Luran said it again, "It marks you as an Alpha, it marks you as having an important destiny, an important role."**

** "What would you know about my eyes." Zack said defensively, unable to still believe this, as his senses were coming back, the sinical part of his mind was telling him that Linus must have been tricked into setting up this elaborate prank by a bunch of punks and this werewolf was just someone in a bodysuit. Whatever he must have experienced, that change, those visions, must have been some trick, some drug.**

** Luran merely stared at him for several seconds, eyes boring into his own once more, before they glowed brightly and the werewolf began saying rapidly, "At the age of 12, on the day of your birthday exactly, your eyes changed from the color blue to green. You've since then had the best eyesight in your family, nearly photographic memory, along with keener hearing as well. You've even been able to tell what someone is writing merely by watching their hand. You sometimes have brief flashes of the future which more often than not become true."**

** Zack gave a fake scoff, though he was surprised he kept up his pretense that this was a prank, "You've done research."**

** "You lost your true virginity to a lion in 10th grade, in a broom closet. Named Jack. He had tricked you into letting him, made you feel important but he was just a jock trying to make notches in his belt."**

** Zack blinked, "What? How do you know about that?" He'd never told anyone else about that. Jack had dumped him right after it happened, stating he realized Zack wasn't as special as he had thought. Zack was crushed at first, but he soon realized that Jack was an asshole and decided that he didn't want it to count against himself so he lied that he still had his virginity. Zack had pretty much tricked himself into forgetting it had ever happened.**

** "It's in your soul." Luran stated, eyes still glowing as he started at him, "Should I continue?" Zack stayed silent while staring at the werewolf so he began again, "You recently had a meeting with someone by the name Spotty on Burythebone. His real name is Kyle, by the way, since you wanted to know. He was rather cute huh?" Now Luran was toying with him.**

** Zack growled blushing deeply, but he persisted, "That proves nothing. That was just yesterday you could have been watching me."**

** "You had visions of me yourself, just last night." Luran persisted himself.**

** "I still don't believe it." Zack stated back, snarling again, "Werewolves? Seriously? You said I'm the first non werewolf to be turned in a thousand years, where have you been that you've never been discovered?"**

** Luran grinned, "If I told you that it wouldn't be a very good hiding place would it?" He sighed then, though grinned still, "I won't ask you to believe it all right away, but hear the story."**

** "Those creatures you saw last night, the dark ones, they're demons from a void, they desire to destroy us, the werewolf race completely for some reason." Luran waved his paw in the air, "They're called Dollmomin. They are controlled by another unknown entity."**

** Zack asked, "Why do they want you destroyed?"**

** "That we do not know." Luran shook his head, "We've been hiding from them for centuries. We recently thought them gone, but just like you," Luran said while he motioned his paw at his own eyes, "My eyes changed from blue to green when I turned twelve. I was trained to be our Alpha, the first in the last hundred years. The Alpha receives visions from our god Lumaria, leading us to our continued survival. My visions showed me you, a second Alpha, something that has never been heard of. There has only ever been one Alpha."**

** Again, Zack broke into the story, "This sounds even more ridiculous by the moment, how could you expect me to believe that?"**

** Luran stared at him, and the wolf almost felt a moment of quilt at the sad look in his eyes. "I guess I can't expect you to simply accept it. But perhaps later you'll want to talk more about it." The lycanthrope began to stand up, brushing off his arms.**

** "Your lion friend is about to knock on the door and try to see if you're okay so I should leave for now. He had chickened out."**

** At that moment, before Zack could question how Luran knew that, a knock came at Zack's door. For only two seconds, Zack looked over his shoulder at the door as Linus' voice called out, "Hey Zack, you in there?"**

Zack looked back in front of him, but took a sharp breath of air as Luran had vanished, and suddenly, the window by his bed was open. Had he jumped? From the top floor of a three story building?! Quickly, Zack moved up on his bad and poked his head out of the window and began to look around, but any trace of the werewolf was gone, and it was broad daylight.

** "Zack?" Linus' voice called again, knocking once more and the wolf pulled himself back inside.**

** Zack continued to stare out the window as he answered, "Yeah man, hang on a moment..." Then he pulled away from the window and began trying to find some clothing so that he wasn't naked anymore.**

___________________

** Linus had been worried about Zack. Apparently the lion had chickened out, just as Luran had said, and hadn't even gone. It appeared that no one had but Zack in fact. Linus hadn't been able to come and tell Zack about it before midnight. Zack told the lion not to worry about it, and after Linus talked a bit more about other things, went on his way happily.**

** Zack remained in his room for most of the day, thinking and checking over his body several times. There was a scar on his kneecap, right where he remembered the red werewolf from the night before had scratched him with his tooth. He continued trying to roll the events of the night and this morning through his head until early afternoon when hunger got the best of his worried thinking.**

** He left his dorm building and went to the cafeteria complex, getting himself the day's lunch, soft shelled tacos, and some fruits and sitting down at an empty table. He was wearing a blue hoodie and pants this time, his purple one had been destroyed last night it seemed. It didn't seem Linus was going to come bother him today, so he began thinking again as he sated his hunger.**

** How did Luran, if that really was his name, know so much about him? He said he was reading his soul or something, but that was crazy magic talk. There had to be something else, this still had to be a prank, even if Linus wasn't in on it. How could he find out?**

** The sudden thought came to Zack that he should go to his highschool in the city. He'd grown up here in Trent since he was young, the teachers there would know him, and they could tell him if someone had been asking about him recently or seen anyone suspicious. He thought it foolish at first, but the more he thought while he ate he realized he didn't really have any other thoughts on what he could possibly do. He had no idea where Luran had gone, didn't even know if he would return, he hadn't mentioned when he'd return if at all.**

** By the time Zack finished eating the last bite of the banana he'd gotten he had made up his mind, he would try to go to his highschool to see if he could find out anything there from the teachers.**

_________________

** Zack's highschool, Trentbrook North, was located in the north regions of the city and schooled approximately 400 students yearly, from grades 9-12. It was a good three hour walk from his college, but it was just around five when he arrived. While his college was currently on fall vacation, the highschool and its students still had school regularly. Zack went directly to the main office and attempted to ask the receptionist there, someone new that Zack didn't know, if there had been anyone asking about him or his records.**

** The receptionist, a slightly elderly cougar, told him that no one had questioned anything about him recently at all, and asked him why he thought someone had. He dodged that question by saying he had told a college professor to look up his records and thanked her, stating he would tell the professor to "F off" about the paper he'd been given a comment on.**

** Zack wasn't completely satisfied with this however, and asked her if any of his old teachers was still in the building, stating that he wanted to go say hi to them since he was there. She looked them up one by one but it appeared that only his gym teacher was still around, he was currently outside training with the baseball team.**

** The wolf proceeded through the building and out the door nearest to the field, surrounded by fencing. Zack put one paw on it and watched the young male students rushing between bases, throwing balls back and forth to each other, or practicing their swings. The coach, a large bellied bulldog, was walking among them and watching carefully, giving out shouts of encouragement or correcting someone's stance.**

** Zack waited until he came near, and then called out to him, "Mr Harris!"**

** The older canine looked towards the sound and after a moment quickly lit up with a bright smile, "Well I'll be, I know that silver fur. Zackary!" The bulldog came towards him as he gave a hearty laugh, "Though I don't suppose it should be Mr Thomas now huh?"**

** "Naw sir. Still single after all." Zack grinned and he wagged his tail. Mr Harris had always been one of Zack's favorite teachers, he appreciated that his coach took his talent with baseball further and as far as he had been able to. It was shame that the college in Trent didn't have a team, Mr Harris had once told him.**

** "What, good looking wolf like you? You ain't looking hard enough. I know how much the girls oggled your fur." Mr Harris chuckled again, making Zack grin sheepishly. It was unfortunate that even though Zack respected Mr Harris, he was as straight as could be, Zack didn't know how him coming out would make the couch react, so he had kept that hidden from Mr Harris as hard as possible.**

** "What can I do for ya though Zack?" The coach continued after his laugh.**

** "I wondered if you knew if anyone had came by and asked about me recently to you?" Zack asked, putting his paws in his hoodie.**

** Mr Harris tilted his head, his lips curling up and he quickly shook his head and made gruff, "No, not a thing."**

** Zack sighed, "I see, I thought as much, but I wanted to check anyway." He began to walk down the chain fence, "It was nice to see you Mr Harris, keep the team steady!"**

** The bulldog watched him leaving for a bit before he followed after him, "You can help me with that today if you want. Why don't you show the boys how good your eyes are? Catch a few balls, hit some for them. See your style."**

** "It's a three hour walk back to campus Mr Harris." Zack returned, "I don't think I could stick around that long."**

** "I'll give you a ride back." He persisted, continuing to match the wolf's walk along the fence. "Come on now. I haven't had a single player as good as you since you graduated."**

** Zack paused trying to think of another reason, but as he looked past the coach's shoulders, he saw someone that perked his interest. A spotted dalmatian was passing the ball back and forth with a horse. Zack caught his gaze over Mr Harris' shoulder, and the young dog pointedly looked away, focusing all his attention on his horse catching partner.**

** "See something?" Mr Harris asked when Zack paused for several seconds, tilting his head into Zack's view, blocking his view of the dalmatian.**

** Zack stuttered and blinked, "Um yeah, that uh, that dalmatian there..." Zack pointed with his muzzle and shuffled his paws in his hoodie to direct his coach towards the field. "I met him at a diner not too long ago."**

** "You mean Kyle?" Mr Harris asked, looking then straight at the canine throwing with the horse. "Yeah he works at some restaurant down by the strip malls part time I think. He only mentioned it once cause he couldn't make a practice day once."**

** That confirmed it, that was Spotty. So his name was Kyle after all huh? Just like Luran had said. How old was he? His profile on Burythebone had said he was eighteen, and he looked that old at least. Zack turned towards Mr Harris with a grin, "Ya know, maybe I can show them some things."**

** "Excellent!" Quickly, Mr Harris was calling out to the field, "Hey all of you! Get your buts to the dugout!"**

** Soon after, Zack was standing before the whole team, some sitting on the ground of the dugout. He didn't recognize any of them though. He hadn't started college until five years after he graduated, after all. Zack didn't want to see any familiar faces in his classes that would distract him, so he stayed out until he knew enough time had passed that no one would be trying to get his attention often. That had really mostly been because he never wanted to see Jack, the bastard lion that had taken his virginity, on the grounds or have him ruin anyone that may be interested in him by spouting something untruthful.**

** "Gentlemen, you have a rare honor today, our old star visited." Mr Harris barked out to the team, while Zack tried to keep a friendly smile. "This here's Zackary Thomas, the one I've been trying to form you all into, the best damn player our school had, he's the one whose name is one those trophies in the display case."**

** Zack couldn't help the blush he had, "Yeah...that's me." He chuckled, giving a little shrug. His gaze froze a moment on Spotty, or Kyle, who gazed back a moment before looking away sheepishly, staring at nothing in particular.**

** "I've asked him to show us some of his catching style and his form when batting." Mr Harris said. "Zack was a great outfielder, fast and his eye always on the balls." This made a few of the players giggle, Mr Harris gave them a stern stare. Zack paid it no mind, because after all, he did always have his eyes on balls. He was still occasionally looking at Kyle though. The dalmatian was watching Mr Harris, pointedly avoiding looking at Zack as much as possible. The coach continued to speak while Zack was watching the younger male, and he began to swear he could see a slight swell between Kyle's legs, making Zack wonder if he was remembering their time at the alleyway, which was beginning to make him harden in his sheath himself, before Mr Harris prodded him.**

** "Hey there, ya listening?" He asked, and other players chuckled again as Zack seemed to come back to himself. "I asked ya if you wanted to try catching or batting first."**

** "Oh uh, catching, I guess." Zack started and he pulled his paws from his hoodie. "I'll need a glove."**

** "Here!" Someone shouted and suddenly a glove was tossed at Zack's head rather quickly, far too quickly to be a friendly toss.**

** On a reflex, Zack's paw shot up and he caught the glove, which surprised even himself. For a moment, Mr Harris scowled at the player that had thrown the glove, a large and muscled buck with growing antlers. The player shrugged, and Zack also looked at him, catching his eyes. A headache passed through his head suddenly and Zack heard a voice whisper in his ears.**

** "Punk."**

** Zack blinked, staring at the buck. Had he said that? His lips hadn't moved. What the heck was that?**

** "Was just testing his legendary reflexes coach. You talk about them all the time afterall." The buck said then with a grin with the same voice that had just whispered in Zack's ear. **

** Mr Harris humphed and he began to step up out of the box. "Come on then Zack, show them how it's done."**

** "Sure coach." Zack said, still a little nonpulsed by what just happened but he pushed it aside and climbed up out of the dug out with him.**

** A few minutes went by with Mr Harris hitting balls with a bat, hitting lows, pop flies, fowls and medium shots between the bases while Zack played short stop for first base. Zack hadn't expected to catch every ball, but he did. Several of the players in the dugout watching were whispering excitedly to themselves. Zack noticed a few times that Kyle was now intently watching him but kept his focus on how the coach was hitting the ball and catching it.**

** Something was weird to Zack though. He'd never been this good. Even shots that should of flew past him he managed to catch. Somehow, Zack realized, his eyes were able to see, just from the bat's movement and the ball, how it was going to be hit, and where it was going to go because of it. It felt like seeing into the future. He was where the ball was going to go right after Mr Harris threw it into the air before even hitting it. **

** This went on for several more minutes, Zack could tell Mr Harris was enjoying the effect this was having on his team, seeing the "Legendary Pro" in action that had gotten them their trophies.**

** Finally, Mr Harris called out to him. "All right Zack, that's enough, let's show them your batting form now." And soon after they had switched positions, but with Mr Harris taking position on the pitcher's mound as he took the bat. He took his position and nodded at Mr Harris, who readied to throw the ball.**

** "Coming at ya as fast as I can throw it Zack." Mr Harris stated, "Give us a home run!"**

** With that, Mr Harris pulled back and then heaved forward, tossing the ball with all his might. Zack knew from his practices, that Mr Harris could throw the ball at an average of 85mph. But as the ball flew towards him it seemed to slow to half that speed in midflight. Zack's eyes glowed, and just as it reached him, Zack swung.**

** The loud thwak was soon followed by several gasps and a few curses from the players in the dugout, as they watched the ball sail not just over the fence of the field, but past the rest of the field and the entire school parking lot, to become lost to the slightly empty streets of the city beyond. A good hundred and fifty yards at least.**

** Mr Harris, stunned just as much as his students, whistled. "Well then...I think that's as effective a demonstration I could ask for!" He chuckled and turned back to Zack, who was staring at his paws still holding the bat.**

** He had felt it. A surge of power had entered his arms as he swung. A pulse that traveled through his muscles and made them bulge out slightly, and faded just as quickly. He looked up at Mr Harris, shaking away his shock as he smiled and feigned his own shock away, "Yeah heh, I've been keeping up my workouts since I graduated. This field's too small."**

** Mr Harris and Zack returned to the dugout, the players had settled back on the bench and ground. Most were looking at Zack with a newfound appreciation, and now Kyle wouldn't take his eyes off the wolf. Zack had to chuckle and rub the back of his head as he entered and Mr Harris started, "Don't get me wrong everyone, this guy's got natural talent. He certainly wasn't that good in high school and I don't expect you to really match what he can do now, he's much older than you. I always said it was a shame our college didn't have a baseball team, he would've been an allstar."**

** A few more minutes passed as the coach spoke to his team, and Zack stood by him watching, eyeing Kyle a bit more but he also took notice of the scowling look the buck from earlier was giving him.**

** The team was told to go back out and practice more, and Zack sat down at on the bench and watched. Mr Harris had said he would take him back to the campus after this, so he would wait for him.**

** After some time, Zack looked down at the ground of the dugout as he contemplated what had just happened. His reflexes, that surge of power. Was this due to what Luran had told him earlier? Was he really a werewolf now? Had last night not been a drugged illusion or something?**

** Lost in his thoughts, Zack didn't notice someone coming up to him until they sat next to him and he was jerked from his thoughts. He looked beside him and started as he looked at Kyle, who kept their head hanging low and looking down between their legs.**

** "Oh uh. Hey." Zack said.**

** "Yeah, hey." Kyle returned, and continued to stare between his legs. **

** Zack began to feel a measure of awkwardness and he started, "I um, didn't mean to showboat or anything."**

** "Huh?" Kyle said, looking up a moment, his eyes looking away quickly again as he continued quietly, "N-no, it was amazing, you're amazing." He followed that up, blushing, "I mean, you have some real skill. I asked the couch if I could come over here and ask you for some pointers, but I mean, I'm just-" Zack suddenly found Kyle adorable, when he was nervous the dalmatian rambled, that was just great. **

** "Watch out!" Someone suddenly shouted from the field, and Zack looked towards the field just as the buck from earlier, way over by third base, threw a ball at him and Kyle. The shout had come from his partner, standing beyond the buck towards the other dugout. He must have realized the buck intended to throw the ball at them and shouted out.**

** Zack's eyes tracked it, glowing just like they had when he batted and catched. The ball was going to hit Kyle in the face. Zack stood up and snatched out with his paw and caught the ball, stopping it. Kyle yelped, ducking in reaction as he hadn't realized what was happening since he'd been looking away.**

** "Steven!" Mr Harris' shout came from first base, "What in H E double sticks do you think you're doing? You trying to take out Kyle?" The coach marched over and began berating the buck as Zack dropped the ball to the ground of the dugout and sat back down beside Kyle, who came back up from his ducking.**

** "Wow." Kyle stated, "Good catch."**

** "Lucky." Zack said, and he shook his paw as it stung slightly, "That turd of a buck threw it as hard as he could. Wonder if he was aiming for me or you." Zack wondered, remembering that little voice he had heard whisper in his ear before.**

** "Probably me. He's a jock jackass." Kyle growled. Another moment of silence hung between them before Kyle continued.**

** "I'm glad you're here...saves me the trouble of gathering the courage to text you." He smiled slightly and gave a little shrug.**

** Zack grinned, "I didn't know you went to school here, it's a long way from here to the strip malls for a part time job." the wolf stuck his tongue out slightly with his own grin. Kyle giggled slightly.**

** "It was all I could find, and I have a car."**

** "Lucky you, I don't."**

** Kyle nodded, "I yeah I remember you said that..." He blushed heavily, "Makes me glad you were my first...first blowjob from the Legendary baseball player Zack." He made air quotes with his paws as he said his title and giggled, "I know your name, coach talks about you at least once every practice." The canine shuffled where he sat as continued, "I owe you something..."

Zack grinned slightly, thinking, Heh, yeah you do.

"Your age." Zack began, "Are you really-"**

** "Oh yes!" Kyle stated quickly, quieting down his quick bark soon after as he folded his ears back a moment, "Y-yes, I am eighteen, I had turned just a few months ago, b-but I've been...ya know...attracted to men since I was like, fourteen."

The dalmatian fell silent again and looked down once more, realizing he was giving a lot of info about himself all at once with just that and Zack chuckled, "It's okay, I'm twenty four, but I've always been someone that's thought if your body is ready for it, then you should be allowed to experience what you can. Safely, of course." Zack raised an eyebrow, "Don't you have friends you could have trusted instead though, instead of looking on a hook up website?"

Kyle remained looking down again, then shook his head, "I have friends, well...people here at school I talk to and eat lunch with, but I don't hang out with them outside of school. That and well...I wouldn't tell them I was gay anyway too, not sure if any of them are..."

"Understandable." Zack nodded. "Anyone online?"

"Several, but you're the only one in the same city as me." Kyle chuckled, looking up again. "Dude...again..." He blushed, "That felt so good..."

"Well if it truly was your first time with anything other than your paw, I hope so." Zack giggled. "It certainly felt like it, you didn't last long and you came a lot." Zack kept his own voice down at that point, knowing Kyle probably didn't want anyone in the field to hear them.

Kyle wagged his tail slightly as he blushed again, the short furred but long appendage was cute to Zack. "Can I make it up to you...somehow?"

"Maybe." Zack folded his arms with a grin, "But obviously not here and now, we'd have to set up a new time to meet up."

"Well um..." Kyle looked down again, blushing still and his tail was still wagging, "After seeing you today and um...knowing who you are, ya know, Zack...legendary baseballer and all...I wanted to do more."**

Zack blinked, surprised, "Oh? You mean like, a date?"

**Kyle gave a little start and he nodded, "Yeah, exactly. I um...I get discounts at my restaurant." He looked up with a very nervous smile, eyes looking right into Zack's own. "I'm off tomorrow, do you want to come eat there with me?" His voice shook as he asked it.

Zack gave a nod right away, "Sure...I'd like that Kyle." There was no way he was going to say no.

_______________________

Kyle stayed with Zack for the rest of the practice, Zack actually giving him some pointers on his throwing technique, until the coach called for the players to pack it up and hit the showers. Zack waved goodbye to Kyle, and Mr Harris came up beside him as the younger male dashed into the locker rooms entrance at the side of the building with the other players.

"So..." Mr Harris began, voice even as he stood arms crossed next to Zack, "My legendary player likes more than just the baseball huh?"

Zack folded his ears back, and started, "Uh, coach..."

"Ah, it's not my place to say anything about how you live life anymore Zack." Mr Harris started, "I'm not gonna start saying your disgusting or anything. I've seen plenty of stares and looks in the locker rooms to know it. You're still people."

The wolf blushed deeply, "So uh, you-"

"Knew all along? Oh yeah. Those looks you were giving each other in the dugout spoke enough." Mr Harris chuckled and he unfolded his arms. "If Kyle's taken a liking to you, you treat him well, okay? Kid just came of age and needs a good start." And the big bulldog began walking towards the building. **

** Moments later, Mr Harris returned, in his normal civilian clothing, and gave Zack a ride back to Talloaks Campus. Zack waved to him as he drove away and he gave a sigh, then took a deep breath and grinned. He had a date, that was new. He didn't think he'd find a date at all, after all he had gone there trying to find out more about Luran.

His smile faded slightly while he walked into his dorm building, thinking along the way to his room. His power spikes and reaction time during the practice were incredible. It surprised him, and he couldn't think of any other reasoning than that what Luran told him was true, he was now a werewolf.

Zack entered his room, and he sat on his chair and leaned back in it, staring up at the ceiling. Briefly, he considered pawing, but if he had a date which may grow itself into something fun, he wasn't going to ruin his friskiness then by jacking off now. Zack checked his emails, nothing important, a message from his folks telling him they'd put his bi-weekly dividends into his account, and some reminders from his professors about papers and assignments that would be due when fall break was over, all of which he'd already done a few days ago. He checked Burythebone, on which he'd received a message from Spotty telling him to met him at the diner at 7pm. He had practice again so that was earliest he could manage.

He responded with an affirmative and that he was looking forward to it and then shut down his laptop. He stretched back in his chair again and yawned, and was surprised at the exhaustion that hit him now that he was in his room. Perhaps the events of the night before were still hitting him, he had no idea how much sleep he had managed to get, being there at midnight, or how long it had taken Luran to bring him back. Of which, he wondered, how did Luran know where he lived? Probably by scent, he decided with a shrug.

Zack wondered again how he was meant to get back in contact with the werewolf, and he looked back towards the still open window from earlier that morning. The silver furred wolf stood and crawled over his bed and looked out. There were a few claw marks on his windowsill, but otherwise there was nothing evident showing Luran had ever been there, and the marks were so shallow they could just be a birds. He looked up at the sky.

The moon was showing in the evening sky, it was only about seven thirty, but the sun had already set past the tops of the mountains and reflecting it down onto the city. It was still mostly full, not yet waning, but as he stared up at it, he didn't receive any of those horrible headaches or visions like he had last night. Perhaps that was something that only happened on total full moons for a werewolf?

Zack pulled his head back in and laid on his bed, eyes closed. He guessed Luran would show up eventually again, and he rose once more with a grunt. He pulled off his clothing, letting it fall to the floor by his bed and then, completely naked, laid back down on it. He stared up at the ceiling, one paw draped up and forearm on his forehead, the other reaching down idly and rubbing and groping himself. Eventually, he sighed, turned, reached down for his black blanket bundled up at his feet, and pulled it over his body. He curled up slightly under it, spooning air, and closed his eyes to sleep**
