A drowned out voice and a blurry image of what appeared to be a blue and white wolf, I could see his jaw move up and down wildly like as if he was screaming at me. Slowly his voice became clearer and my sight returned to normal, "Hey man wake up! Wake up!"
"What...where am I?" I asked him.
"You're three miles from the center circle. Don't get up guy. Here let remove the helmet," I clicked it to unlock it and he pulled it off, "Now there we AH WHAT...YOUR...A...A..."
"I am a Dragon yes I know. Look my name's Adrian Raines, I'm part of a spec ops squad under the UGAC and I need you to help me Mr...."
"Doctor Roy Wright Md. I'm a technician and I'm doing studies on the mysteries of the Ark."
I chuckled a bit, "Well you're going to be in one hellova ride. You lead, I'll stay close and for the love of everyone do as I say."
He nodded and we began to traverse the halls of Inner Ark. We were running in a crouch dodging pipes that hung low, "If I am in for a 'ride' then what exactly is the Ark hmm?"
"It a giant gate to the Heavens and Hell. And that thing that's at the center circle is a Dragon God trying to open the Gate to Hell, release his evil, and corrupt the Heavens." I was panting trying to keep up with Roy's roddie run.
"What?! You got to...uh actually nevermind." He stopped himself before he could finish. "In that case should we be running away instead of charging in?"
"No because I am going to close that gate as soon as he opens it and push him in. And you are going to help me." I told him.
"What? Uh uh no way! Evil God, end of all life as I know ending? No way screw that." He stopped and bean to run away.
I grabbed him by his tail and drug him back in front of me, "Uh huh yeah you are cause 1: I don't know how to navigate through here. 2: you're a techy, and I need you to help me close the gate."
He gulped and sighed in aggravation, "Ok ok! Fine...if I die I'm haunting you."
"Sure thing now MOVE!" I roared and we ran faster than before. I could literally smell the fear on him; it coated him. We moved in and out of the tubular like tunnels, panting heavily, sweat dripping down mine and his body. The tunnels were as like a oven to bake us alive, how much more I could stand I don't know. Were tunnel rats in a maze looking for cheese, the cheese was a massive gate.
We reached the Control Room and went straight to the window, "Here we are...oh wow...that thing is huge." Roy was mesmerized by the sheer size of Obscurum
"ROY!"
"Oh right." Roy ran to the nearest console and began typing at a faster rate than I could think.
Which was about how exactly was I gonna push him in. "Adrian to Soul Caibur. I am inside the Ark Control Room in the Center Circle over," no response. "Adrian to Soul Calibur over..."
"This Obscurum character is giving off an intense power levels right now. Your communicator is probably being blocked out by that." At that moment hundreds of missiles struck Obscurum and he roared in extreme pain.
I tried the comm again, "Adrian to Soul Calibur come..."
Fox answered, "We read you Adrian just give us a moment next time. Obscurum has reached..."
"I know I'm staring at him right now, I'm in the Control Room with a doc. He is gonna help us close the Hellgate when it opens."
Selina came up in the Control Room, "Sir, I have hacked the Ark Network. There seems to be automated heavy lifters around, we can use those to help close the gate."
"Good. Good. Status on Wolfgang?"
"I am ready to finish this..." Wolfgang responded. "Make me a hole in his chest now"
"Do it!" I ordered. The entire fleet shot for Obscurum's chest, not even sure if it was gonna work but we had to try. The shots impacted him forcefully and made a few small holes in his chest, it actually worked somehow.
"Good bye my friends!" Wolfgang roared and was shot out of the airlock and into space. He was using a black magic barrier to protect him from freezing instantly, zipping from the Soul Calibur to Obscurum's chest in a blink of an eye. I could hear him screaming sounds of a maddening wolf as he entered his chest. "I am inside! Beginning the Ritual! Wait for my go!"
"Got it." I said to Wolf and turned to Roy, "Roy I need you to help with those lifters ok."
"I can't do this! I'm not a freakin' soldier!" Roy was cracking down.
I grabbed him roughly and looked deep into his eyes with my black and white eyes, "You listen here. Billions of lives are depending on us to stop this thing. Billions here on the Ark and on many more planets, We need you...my people need you." He looked in awe as I mentioned the dragon race. "Are you with us..."
He broke free of my grip and ran to the computer console, "What will you have me do?"
"I need you help coordinate the lifters and the Star Fleet, they are gonna shot at the Gate but I am going to be down there. I need you to keep their line of sight away from me."
"Got it."
"Alright team...I'm heading down to the gate now. Listen to Roy's instructions while I'm gone." I ran over to the airlock and shut the door behind me, thinking positively. Green light came on signaling me to proceed, the airlock doors opened and the vacuum of space hit me but I did not freeze. I was still alive without my helmet, the powers I have must be that strong to protect me from dying instantly. I jumped to the wall beside me and pushed off of it to the gate platform that was 3 miles away.
Obscurum didn't waste any time summoning the Hellgate, the entire gate covered the gap that used to be there, the gate its self was made of rock, bone, and blood. He dug his claws deep into the crack and began to slowly open it. A wave of immense heat and the smell of rotting flesh hit me like a baseball to the face. Do you see Adrian? My world is perfect, and so will this one when I am done destroying it. I am Indestructible Adrian! You cannot possibly kill me!
Who said anything about killing you dumb fuck. I was approaching the gate quickly and landed forcefully. I stood up and gazed at the size of the gate, at least 50,000 stories tall and being ripped open by a very enraged God. All I could do was stand back and watch it open, Wolf I really hope you don't fail us now...

Wolf was lodged somewhere in Obscurum's chest. He could the rumbling of it's heart near, and set for the Heart of The Darkness.
He ran to what seemed like miles on in to the Heart which was so near that he could feel it. Jeremy...I am here. I know you are here...please...help me find my way through this place. He heard the cries of his mate near him and sprinted with tears upon his face.
Finally there was Jeremy being held by chains with hooks buried deep into his fragile body, blood drenched his now silver fur. "W...Wolfgang?"
Wolf dropped to his knees and stared in pain at his torn mate, "Jeremy...oh my god..."
"Forgive me...I never meant for any of this to happen..." his voice weak with blood leaking out of his mouth.
"It was never your fault. We were both still so young, and...oh Jeremy...what has this thing done to you?" Now crying his heart and soul out for his mate.
"That does not matter anymore. Why are you here? Get out now before..."
"I'm going to kill this thing and send his body to his own dammed domain. Using this." He brought out the book and showed it.
"Blood Magic! Wolf you can't it will kill you!"
"I know...better dead than see you suffering through this. My friends on the outside will close the Hellgate when they push The Darkness in."
Jeremy thought for a moment, "I want to be with you Wolf...where ever we go..."
"Let go to the Heavens together then..."
"Yes...let us go together..." As he spoke Wolf opened up the book and began to chant the words of treachery and death for a higher purpose. Wolf drew a pentagram around him with his razor claws then he caught some of Jeremy's blood and threw into the circle, cut into Obscurum and drew some of his blood into the circle, lastly Wolf sacrificed some of his blood in the circle.
"I love you Jeremy..." He spoke.
"I love you...Wolfgang" Jeremy answered.
The pentagram illuminated bright red sealing the Ritual, "Tai ton en yoca aligar yesh mite. Mufer ungur vatasi nugar...dorn kal IMAGA!" Wolf roared. The Ritual was complete. "Ok Adrain...don't fail me now..."

"Ok the Ritual is complete! Push the fucker in now!" Wolf radioed to me.
"GOT IT! Selina did you get that?!" I asked her.
"All fleet units and AA Batteries fire at will, I repeat Fire at will!" As she finished, loud bangs and explosions rubbed through space and came crashing upon Obscurum and he wailed in intense agony. The plan was really working, Obscurum was plummeting back into Hell.
"ADRIAN NOW!!!" Sasha screamed.
"AH!!!!" I arched my back and threw my palms upon the left door as Roy worked with the robo's on the right. Both of us how ever were struggling to close it. Like pushing a 20,000 ton boulder up a steep hill. "AAAAHHHHHHHHH!! FUCK!!!! AH!"
"ADRIAN IM COMING DOWN THERE!" Sasha yelled and jumped out of her dragonfly, landed, and helped me push.
"Do NOT start without us now!" Fox yelled. He, Falco, Kelsey, Kiddo, and Gun came crashing down to me and helped push with me. Slippy joined Roy's robo's in a power mech and pushed there.
"What are you guys doing?!" I spoke.
"SHUT UP AND PUSH!!! RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!" Slippy screamed. We all heaved at the doors and they came closer and closer together, but as they came closer the separate demensions were like magnets and pulled on each other.
About 7 more feet left it was trying to pull everyone in. "GO GET OUTA HERE!" I roared at them.
"But..."
"NO SASHA GO!" she just looked into me, "GO!" finally she nodded and took off with the others. The robo's has been stripped metal and was sucked into Hell leaving me to close the last 7 feet. I stretched out my arms, grabbed onto each edge and began to pull them close with all my strength. I roared, cursed, and used all my twilight power trying to close it, it seemed useless.
Its not useless Adrian. I still believe you little Brother...
I gasped, "S...Sis?!"
Don't give in now Adrian. You made an unbreakable promise. Don't you remember...

Adrian you were always on my mind when I brought you into this world...I have watching you grow into the strong and now proud Dragon you are...your real father and I are so very proud of you...
_ _ With that said, I didn't even try, I pulled the two doors ever closer and Obscurum bellowed one last roar. In return I spoke a prayer that has been passed down from my fore fathers fore fathers many years ago, "And a Shepherd I shall be for thee, my Lord, for thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand my feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So I shall flow a river forth to Thee and teeming with souls shall it ever be..."

NO!!!!
"Spiritus Sancti!"

With one last heave and a victorious roar, I slammed the doors shut. Not thinking it was enough I flew backward about a mile and charged my power one last time. A great ball of Twilight energy form in my hands with ease.
We love you Adrian...We all do...
"Mother..." I whispered as a tear of happiness fell from my eye and into the energy ball. The tear and the ball met and it grew intense, it felt like being reborn again releasing it at the Hellgate. The Hellgate imploded into the energy ball and just like that. It vanished. The energy ball left no trace of the Hellgate.
Finally...The War was over....

--A Light Hits the Gloom on the Grave--
Upon his grave read "A Life of War, and Heartbreak. I Have Found What I Was Looking For"

"10 years...Wolf...I have to hand it to ya. I don't care what you say I fuckin love ya man." I said.
"Dad!" A voice of a nine year old girl caught my attention. I turned around and saw my Dragon Rabbit hybrid daughter. She was small, purple fur, with small horns and rabbit ears and already growing her wings. She was named the cutest Hybrid of the year 5 years un a row.
"Honey! She is right here!" Sasha giggled happily at me.
"Oh Sorry Samantha..." I sighed and laid the flower upon the graves of Wolf and Jeremy Rasputin. I stood up erect. "Hey Samantha...can you give mommy and daddy a moment?"
She nodded and went away and played amongst the graves. Sasha nuzzled up against me and whispered, "Are you ok baby?"
She then looked up at me and I down to her, "Yeah Sasha...I'm fine..." I took in a deep breath of fresh air. "I'm just fine." I leaned down and kissed her lips tenderly and she cuddled into my arms, rubbing her hands upon my mane.
"There used to be a greying tower alone on the sea. You became the light on the dark side of me. Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill." In the back were Gun, Fox, Falco, Draco, Kelsey, Kiddo, and my little girl singing.
"Oh jeese" I said and laughed lightly.
"But did you know, That when it snows, My eyes become large and, The light that you shine can be seen..."
I joined in and we sang in union, "Baby!!! I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey. Ooh, The more I get of you, Stranger it feels, yeah! And now that your rose is in bloom. A light hits the gloom on the grey..."
Then just me, "Now that your rose is in bloom...A light hits the gloom...on the...greeeeeeeyyyyyyyy..." I turned away from their grave and got in the Soul Calibur and flew high into the stars. The red rose never moved from their grave, It stood against the wind.
My stepfather, before he killed my sister, told me I was weak and not a man. He was right. I was weak, I wasn't a man. But I am A Captain, A Friend, A God, A Husband, A Father, and of most of all, one I am most proud of... "I AM A DRAGON!" I yelled in excitement and we jumped to our next system to explore the unknown and spread the word of our existence.
