A song/poem I made last week.

It is about escaping to a calm safe place in my mind, my safe zone.

I'm happy and calm in my safe zone,

A nice place where I can go roam,

Some place where I can be alone,

Warm and safe where I can call home.

It's where I can be in my dreams,

someplace where I don't cry or scream,

I'm truly happy there it seems!

When life is too hard, when I am too weak,

if I'm a broken shard, and things turn too bleak,

I can always rely, on a place built in me,

and I can always try, to go there and see...

I'm happy, I'm calm, I'm safe,

I'm joyous, I'm relieved, I'm okay,

I'm happy, I'm calm, I'm safe,

I'm good, I'm resolved, for today.

It's a safe place, it's a good home, I roam there, all alone...

It's my safe zone, it's a quiet home, I'm happy there, all alone...

It's my mind's home, where I roam, all alone, a safe zone...
