~Stupid disclaimer thingy~ Ya adult content blah blah blah. If you read this and your not old enough. try not to get caught. if you aren't held back by any of those silly laws then your good too. Enjoy!

Everything was good and true for weeks on end for Marc and David. Marc had the best boyfriend and lover anyone could ask for, and so did David. It was even improving Marc's grades. Except for math class. He always fell asleep in math.

What he was especially happy for Tom for actually getting his paws on another guy. This made things a lot easier because this gave Marc and David more alone time and gave Tom a reason not to ask so many questions about his sex life. Life would soon change though because school was drawing to a close and summer was almost upon them.

"Uh oh..." Marc under his breath as he was in history learning about God knows what. Summer always meant that he had to leave for the whole time and visit his dad. He had forgotten to tell David this. He wondered how he was going to take it. His stomach flipped as he tried to anticipate David's reaction.

*Bing!*

That stupid bell. Marc looked up at the sound device and scowled. He was almost rid of it now, but he knew once he would return it would haunt him just the same. He moved out into the flowing hallway of furs and took his pace in traffic as he made his way toward his locker.

Just as he had expected David was waiting for him. David, being a drifter, had moved into Marc's locker and shared it.

"Hey!" David said. "I'm sorry I wasn't there this morning. I woke up late"

"That's ok," Marc said. "I still love you." Marc said this very quietly because like almost everything else he did, he had kind of procrastinated on telling his other friends about his new sexuality and about his boyfriend.

"So what's the plan for the summer?" David said, trying to make conversation while Marc put his stuff away.

Marc sighed. "About that..." Marc said. "We need to talk..."

"Huh?" David said in an alarmed tone. "Did I do something wrong?"

Marc chuckled a little. "No you didn't do anything, Dave." Marc said looking him in the eye. "Every summer I go down to visit my father because he lives in another country, and I stay there the whole summer. I hate it sometimes but I guess I kind of have too. Ya know?"

"Oh..." David said with a mixture of relief and disappointment hanging on his breath. "Well as long as I'm not in trouble or anything."

"Heh..." Marc said pulling David into a loose hug. "How could you be in trouble with

me?"

***

The weeks went by like the blink of your eye. Marc was dreading leaving David behind and David hated how Marc was leaving for 2 months. Their exams were done as fast as they came and, they both passed all of their courses. Marc was surprised that his math teacher actually passed him, but soon the day of reckoning was upon them. Marc had packed his mom's mini-van full of his clothes and guitar stuff.

David made his way over that early morning to give his wolf a goodbye kiss. He appeared right as they were pulling right out the driveway. Marc saw him out of the corner of his eye and hugged the window. All David could do was wave and blow kisses as Marc did the same.

Marc and his mom had a long and awkward drive ahead of them to the airport. Marc hadn't been with his mom this long since she picked him up the year before. She would usually just pop in at around 4 in the morning and leave just like that.

"So you passed all of your courses?" His mom asked trying to make conversation.

"Ya..." Marc said in a monotone voice. "I'm gonna sleep and listen to music so ill talk to you when I wake up."

"Ok." His mom said.

***

"We're here!" His mom screamed as Marc jumped out of his seat.

"Thanks for the warning." Marc said groggily as he got out to look for a cart for his luggage. He found one way on the other side of the parking lot and filled it up with his things. They went in and got his luggage checked and got something to eat.

"Wow I can't believe your riding the plane all by yourself." His mom said as she ate

her salad.

"Mom... I did the same thing every summer since I was 12." Marc said as he took another bite out of his cheese burger.

"Really?" His mom asked. "Are you sure?"

"Ugh..." Marc said getting out of his chair. "My flight leaves in 10 minutes. Are you gonna see me off?"

"No, hon." His mom said as if it were ok. "I'll just give you your hug here because I have to get back to work." She held her arms out and closed her eyes.

"Ok." Marc said in an angry tone. "Bye then..." He walked away and didn't look back. His mom opened her eyes and saw the sight of her 17 year old boy walk into the crowd. She shrugged her shoulders and picked up her purse and proceeded to the exit.

Marc mumbled obscenities at his workaholic mother as he got onto the plane.

"Hello everyone." A voice came on over the p.a. "We are ready for take off. Please fasten your seatbelts and make sure your tray is in the upright and locked position."

Marc played with his fluffy tail and combed it with his claws. He always liked doing that. It was kind of liked a stress reliever if he couldn't take his shower.

The plane took off, which caused Marc's ears to pop. This annoyed him as his pounded the side of his head for relief. Once he got the pressure out and put on his headphones

he fell right asleep and waited to land.

***

David had locked himself in his room right when he got home. It almost killed him watching his boyfriend ride off into the morning and him just standing there like an idiot on the dark and lonely street. He would let himself cry, though. He knew that if he started he wouldn't stop and he didn't want his dad to be tipped off that something was wrong.

He was lying on his bed listening to a mix c.d. when his dad barged in.

"Hey son!" his cheerful voice almost made David sick.

"Dad, leave me alone," David said as he stared at the wall. "I don't feel well."

"Awww come on, boy," His dad said grabbing his foot. David just kicked it so the paw would let go. "How about I give you some money and you could go to the mall or

something."

"I don't want to." David said as he curled up in a ball. "I just wanna lay here and not be bothered. Thanks."

"Alright..." His dad said in a less enthusiastic tone. "Don't spend the whole day on here, though. It's not good for you to stay in a dark, stuffy room for too long."

"I know, dad." He said raising a paw. "Now please leave."

His dad just shook his head and shut the door behind him.

***

Marc was awoken once again, this time by the bodiless voice on the p.a.

"Attention passengers." He started. "We are going to land in a couple minutes. I would personally like to thank you for choosing to fly and take this particular airline."

"Finally..." Marc said as he checked the clock on his mp3 player. It read 9:00 P.M. "Gee

I slept the whole way."

The plane's altitude was slowly decreasing as the lights from this all too familiar town became more noticeable. Marc looked out his window and got a sudden attack of missing David. He wondered what he was doing right now, and if David had missed him almost the same as he did.

He shook his head as his ears popped once again. He pounded his head again to get relief from the pressure.

"Attention passengers." The pilot said over the p.a. It started to remind him of the hellish school bell that was also waiting for him when he came home. "We have landed. Please take your carry-on luggage and proceed out the left exit and have a nice day."

"Whoa!" Marc said in a sarcastic tone of voice. "I would have never guessed we landed!"

He heard a giggle behind him as he said this and turned around. He saw a vixen about the same age as him.

"Hi." The vixen said. "I'm Candace. What's your name?"

"Oh I'm Marc." Marc said as he moved the line up and exited the terminal.

"Your pretty funny, Marc." Candace said. "Where are you headed?"

"Oh I'm headed to a little town just north of here." Marc said as he scratched his

head-fur. "How about you?"

"Oh I'm headed to..." Candace stopped and looked around. She saw her familiar face and screamed. "Gary!! Oh my god I missed you so much!"

They had made it to the waiting room and the vixen ran to a jackal who seemed to be her boyfriend.

"Who's this guy?" Gary said in a sort of disgusted tone.

"Oh he's nobody..." Candace said flicking her hand. "I don't even know him."

"Well then get out of here, dog-boy." Gary said baring his teeth. "Get away from my girlfriend.

"Heh, not interesting anyways..." Marc said as he walked away. He looked around for his dad but didn't see him. That was strange because he was never late.

"Interesting..." Marc said with one eyebrow raised, and took a seat with all the other

furs that were waiting for their familiar face to bring them home.

***

About 4 hours later a cheetah came into the waiting room and started asking people their names. Marc watched him as fur upon fur shook their head no to his question. Soon he was asking the raccoon next to him.

"Is your name Marc?" he asked. The raccoon just shook his head and went back to his magazine.

Marc's ears perked up as a shot of adrenaline coursed through his veins.

"I'm Marc..." He said as he shot out of his chair. "Why? What's up?"

The cheetah sighed. "Could you come with me please?"

Marc cocked his head and went with the cheetah. His heart was pounding. Was he in trouble for something? He looked around to all of the furs passing him and giving him menacing looks. He wished he had David's hand to hold.

After about 8 minutes of navigating their way through the sea of furs they arrived to a little interrogation room. The room had a creepy sort of feel. It had bare white walls and a lone desk in the middle.

"Go take a seat." The cheetah said. "I'll be with you in a second."

"Am I in trouble?" Marc asked innocently.

The cheetah just went into the next room and picked up the phone. He dialed a number and waited for someone on the other line to pick up.

Marc went and sat down on the white wooden chairs and waited to see what he was in for.

***

David hadn't moved from his spot and he was starting to sweat from the heat that had built up in his room. He rolled over as the door opened.

"Buddy, come on..." His dad said as he entered the room. "You've been in here all day.

Come out and have some fun at the mall or something."

"What time is it?" David asked as he got up and stretched.

"Its 9:00 P.M.," His dad said. "Hey! I know what you could do. Go to the arcade."

"The arcade..." David said in a daze. He wondered were Marc was. He probably met up with his dad and is with him right now. "I guess..."

He remembered the last time he was there he had played D.D.R. with Marc. Memories of when they were oblivious of their feelings towards each other. Then how he had made that single leap of faith up there in his room on his couch, and how it brought him happiness like never before.

"I need a shower," David said in a dead tone. "I reek..."

"That's my boy!" His dad said enthusiastically. "I'll meet you in a few. I'll give you a ride."

"Ok," David said. Maybe getting out of the house was a good idea. He needed to get his mind off of Marc for a couple hours if he was to ever survive these two weeks. It was only the first day and he was already about to collapse under the weight of him missing his boyfriend.

***

Marc had been sitting there in this creepy white room for what seemed like hours upon hours. He looked at the baron clock and it had only been about a half of one. The cheetah had hung up the phone and walked out and faced Marc.

"Marc, was it?" The cheetah asked as he sat down adjacent to him across the white table.

"Yes, sir?" He said as he tried to swallow and get his vocal chords lubed up for speaking.

"Who were you waiting for in that god forsaken waiting room?" He asked as he put on his reading glasses and scanned a few pages of the document in from of him.

"I was waiting for my Dad?" Marc said questioningly eyeballing the document. "...Why?"

"Well you see, son..." The cheetah said, finally looking up from the paperwork. "...I'm not sure how to tell you this but... Your father passed right when he got here. It seems he had a heart attack on the way here and somehow made it to the doors. The paramedics did all they could but he didn't make it to the ambulance."

Marc froze. He felt his bright blue eyes turn cold gray as they well up with tears that he stopped when he thought of David. He just sat there. His world collapsed right then and there just as his father did when he entered this hellish building. He couldn't move, and he felt like throwing up. Tears ran clear trails down his face as the memory of his father flashed before his eyes. How he helped him with his homework when he was very young and didn't understand addition, how proud he was when Marc graduated into high school, the look of complete sorrow on his face when he had to move away from his son. He wanted David to hold him in his arms, but he was what felt like 10000000 miles away.

"Are you alright, Son?" The cheetah asked as he looked up and saw the tears running down Marc's face.

"Don't ever..." Marc said in pure rage as he glared at the cheetah. He stood up and started screaming "Don't ever call me that again! The only person who was allowed to even think about calling me that was my father! And now he's dead because your fucking paramedics couldn't prolong their coffee break for five fucking minutes to rush him to the hospital! It's all your fault that he is dead! It's your fucking fault! If you didn't care about so much about your budgets and your money then he would still be alive and I would still have my dad!"

Marc was kicking the walls. He didn't know what to do. Was this some sick nightmare he was having? He wanted to wake up and be in David's arms like always.

Marc was still flailing around in rage. He was actually starting to damage to himself when security came to subdue him.

"Don't touch me!" Marc screamed. "Get the fuck away!"

One of the security guards pulled out his tazer and shocked him until he went down. The picked him up and carried him out of the small room which was now a shambles. The cheetah stunned at how quickly the seemingly nice wolf changed into an uncivilized beast.

Everyone had gathered around the look in window which allowed no privacy what so ever for interrogation.

"Let... go... of m..e.." Marc managed to get out before he passed out in the security guard's arms. Everyone was watching them take Marc to the ambulance stationed right outside. They put him in the back on the bed and shut the door behind them.

The ambulances engine roared as they rushed him to the nearest hospital. As tears ran down Marc's face we cryed, "I'm...so..rry...Dad.. I wish.. you..would..come back... I ne..ed you...

***

David had finally made it to the arcade when he felt something in his gut. Something was wrong and he could sense it. He ran to the pay-phone right outside the arcade. He put in a couple dollars because he didn't know how much it charged for long distance. It didn't matter to him, though. He just had to hear Marc's voice to tell him everything was ok. He pulled out the crumpled up phone number from his pocket and dialed the phone number and area code.

"Yes!" he said as it rang. It rang and rang but no answer. Then a voice came through the earpiece on the payphone.

"Hi you've reached Marc's cell. I don't know where I am right now but if you leave your name and number I'll tell you about it. Catch ya later."

"Fuck!" he said as he heard the recording. He waited for the beep and then recorded his message. "Hey, babe. I don't know where you are right now but hopefully everything is fine. I'm at the arcade thinking of you and I'm already counting the seconds until I can be in your arms again. Well call me when you get this. Bye bye.

He hung up the pay-phone and looked at the moon that hung clearly in the sky and wondered if Marc was looking at it too and thinking of him.

***

Marc lay there in the back of the ambulance as he heard a familiar ring tone play in his pocket. He just laid there and stared at the sealing of the truck as his phone played away. It soon stopped and beeped a couple seconds afterward to signal a new voicemail.

He looked out the window of the side truck and saw the pale, full-moon of the worst night of his life, and only hoped David with sharing the same opportunity.

Well thats part 6. I hope you guys liked it. I'll get work on part. 7 as soon as possible. Then you will be able to see if marc gets back ahead of schedual or not. heh i dont even know yet. Thanks for reading up to this far.
