Just a bit of attitude. Written 2017.

I'm a quillhog; that's what I am.

Got a backside of spikes to protect my can.

If you haven't guessed, I'm a porcupine.

Whether you like it or not, that's just fine.

I go where I want and I do my thing

With a pack of prickle pokers on the tail I swing

Dogs don't bug me and my thorny mace

Any mutt that does gets a pincushion face

But if you're looking for love, there's no need to flee

Just keep it to the soft side and you can still cuddle me.

I'm a big furry rodent with a whole lotta pricks

You know that you love me, so come and get your fix

Now if you don't like the way that I tell my tale

Let me turn around so you can kiss my furry one

Mind the quills.

Prick out.
