#6 of The story of Dusk

Well this is my final chapter on Dusk. I must admit it has been a real adventure working with her and seeing the story and her character develop, especially considering I only intended for it to be a stand alone at the start.

Finally back together with who she loves with all her heart, Dusk can finally settle down to a normal life. Or can she?

Sheliah's big reveal is interrupted at a small, fancy restaurant as a maniac shows up to seek revenge on someone bearing the markings of the beast that claimed his family.

Can they put the past to rest or will the past finally claim Dusk?

Morning; 9 AM to be exact as Dusk stirred, waking up entwined with her mate.

The pair made quite the interesting couple; on the surface, they were both alluring females of beauty. The pair of them could have been models if they wanted to but life had led them down some rather unique and interesting paths.

Stretching out next to the smoky furred wolf, Dusk craned her neck around to stare lovingly at her; blue eyes drinking in the shape of her body and those tempting E-cup breasts. A hand reached out to tease at a braided strand of hair, admiring how the lighter grey colour and tribal style truly made Sheliah an exotic creature; that along with the white symbols of a shaman painted into her fur gave the wolf a look of mystery.

By contrast Dusk had a jet-black coat of fur that covered most of her body apart from a blend of black and red coloured hair, a red chest of fur that covered her large F-cup breasts, thighs and the tip of her tail.

Turning in Sheliah's arms, Dusk drank in all of her; oh, how her heart ached for each hour they had been apart.

However, the herm vixen couldn't get properly comfortable due to her large nine-inch shaft jutting proudly out and resting against Sheliah's furred rump.

As she made to push away to attend to her business, the older female suddenly grasped her hands.

"Not without seeing you when I wake up Dusk," came Sheliah's sleepy voice as her eyes slowly opened to reveal her mystifying purple irises. "Morning love," she said, her voice filled with nothing but love and passion.

At just the sound of her deep, husky voice Dusk forgot about her needs. How could such a simple thing cause such stirrings of love in her heart?

Erection be damned, the vixen opened her leg up to sidle closer, mashing their chests together, nipples digging into soft breast flesh as she took her mate by surprise with a kiss that spoke of her feelings.

Pulling away with a string of saliva, they both gazed into each other's eyes as though they were afraid the other would vanish for good should the other look away. "Oh Sheliah," Dusk whispered in a deep, husky tone before leaning in to kiss her again, this time slowly kissing her way down to her neck before gently nibbling, causing the wolf to giggle and squirm like a teenager before they just went back to gazing into each other.

Reluctantly wrenching her eyes away, Sheliah looked at her mobile for the time before her purple eyes widened in shock. "H-half nine?!" She gasped before throwing aside the covers, leaving them both in just their fur as the wolf hurriedly dressed.

"Sheliah, what's the matter?" Dusk said as she wiped sleep from her eyes, alarmed at her mates' sudden rush.

"I-I have been falling behind with deliveries and a pharmaceutical company is coming to collect today. Either they get their special herbs or they collect something from my home as compensation for wasting their time and money."

"What are they called?" Dusk asked her as she tried to keep her voice neutral.

"T-they...well the name my suppliers gave them is Sweet Lemon due to them smelling vaguely like sweet lemongrass."

"Well come on, let's get moving. If we both pick them we'll be done in time," Dusk said, pulling the dishevelled looking wolf out of bed before pulling her towards the door.

"Dusk wait! We're just in our fur!" Sheliah cried out only for her words to fall on deaf ears.

"Look silly, your walls and gate are six foot high so people are not likely to notice much out of the ordinary. This is the only way to get things done if you are expecting them soon and dressing takes time away," the vixen said, although she couldn't resist a backwards glance at her mates jiggling assets.

As Dusk pulled her down the stairs and out the back door that led directly into the garden the older female groaned, "Dusk...we need a serious talk about the essence of modesty."

"Save it love, where are those herbs?" She said as they both stood in the open, stark naked to the air with nipples rock solid from the gentle breeze playing over their bodies.

Blushing furiously at her ears, Sheliah pointed to the back end of the garden before Dusk took off, picked a hand sickle she had left outside and began cutting the herbs with a speed that put the shaman to shame. Shaking her head to snap herself out of the trance, nudity forgotten, Sheliah found another tool laying on the ground before joining her mate in the cutting.

*

Half an hour later on, both females were panting for breath as two sacks of herbs stood full beside them.

Sheliah couldn't believe how effortlessly Dusk had cut down row after row. Even with her best efforts Sheliah only managed half of a sack to Dusk's one and a half. "So th-that's the speed of a ninja? How on earth...do you move like that with those heavy things?" the wolf shaman panted playfully, her own bare breasts jiggling with each ragged breath she took.

"Part of ninja training love," Dusk said, recovering quickly as she straightened up and stretched, the sun catching her sweat soaked fur causing the black to gleam, giving her a more mysterious look. "You learn to listen to your body, adapt to the rhythm and flow to accommodate. Though, my breasts do hurt from so much swaying," she winced as she rubbed her chest.

"Well, maybe we can go back in and I can help you with easing the aches out?" Sheliah said with a lustful look at the vixen. But before she could follow up a loud hammering sounded at the front door.

"Sheliah! We are here for those rare herbs," a gruff voice sounded from the door. "You either fulfil your contract with us or we take our money from your possessions."

"Ohhh shit," Sheliah groaned. "We need to quickly get dressed before they storm away and call their lawyers."

Picking up the two sacks Dusk stomped through the back door. "Leave this to me hun," she said with a dangerous edge to her tone. "You protected me so now it is my turn."

"W-wait Dusk. Your clothes!" Sheliah cried out, only for the nude vixen to shrug as she wrapped her tail twice around her form, covering both her privates and large breasts.

"Sheliah! Last warning!" the gruff voice shouted before the door was flung open only to see an odd coloured vixen standing there with her huge tail wrapped around like a towel.

"Here is your herbs!" she said coolly, thrusting the sacks into the man's hands. He was a large and imposing looking bear morph she noticed and probably one the company sent to intimidate their partners. "Compliments of Sheliah. And if you cause us problems any more I will let you know about it," she said before grabbing the bear by his tie with strength that bellied her lithe form. "I can be quite bad to know if my loved ones are threatened, you get me?" she growled, her deep blue eyes boring right into his brown eyes; suddenly wide with alarm.

A swift nod followed a choke as she held him tight by his tie before she let him go. "Good, I'm glad we have an understanding. Have a nice day now," Dusk said sweetly as the bear hurried to his van with the bags and sped off.

Dusk folded her arms, watching until the van was out of sight before turning round, a self-satisfied smile running her muzzle as she closed the door to.

"Dusk, what happened?" Sheliah asked as she hurried down the spiralling staircase, now fully dressed in an earthy coloured blouse and cream skirt.

"Lets just say...I made it clear you were not to be messed with," Dusk said with that same satisfied smile running her muzzle, only broadening as she let her tail slip from around herself to place her in full nudity, having her mate blushing gently at the sight.

"Dusk...maybe you should put something on before we go out to dinner?" Sheliah said in a breathy tone, the sight alone making her feel wet but no. She was determined to make this more than just lust and sex.

With a playful bow to her love, Dusk strutted past her, running that huge tail around the wolf shamans body as she went upstairs to dress. By the spirits, that vixen made it hard to think of other things, even with her new passenger.

*

Dusk was surprised when they didn't set out in her car, but by foot through the village they lived known as Nest Village. "Well the village may be average and have only a small shopping centre, but I know it has a good little restaurant plus I must admit, I don't care much for busy city's. They don't...feel right to me."

Folding her arms Dusk supposed it made sense. What she didn't agree on was what she was made to wear. Sheliah had changed into a violet dress to go out. Running from her shoulders, fitting snug over her ample chest before running down the rest of her form, opening up into a skirt that stopped just above her ankles.

Dusk to her chagrin had been coaxed into a crimson red dress herself. The dress started from the top of her breasts only making them look even more pronounced before running down her body, fitting snugly and outlining her curves before splitting just after her thighs allowing a glimpse of a black furred leg as she moved. "I don't feel comfy at all in this," Dusk grumbled as they walked that day into the village centre.

"Dusk you look amazing, plus this restaurant does have a dress code. I've never been in before but I hear the food is great," Sheliah said as she held her hand.

A few of the locals that knew her called morning, though some had to do a double take of who her partner was as they saw the beautiful wolf holding paws with a gorgeous vixen.

Dusk felt herself growing hot under her fur as she realised she was attracting quite a bit of attention. She was used to been in control and doing the teasing after all. "Don't worry Dusk, you'll get used to it," she said in soft voice, her eyes holding reassurance, a smokey grey furred hand reaching to stroke along her muzzle before gently tidying a lock of hair out of Dusk's face.

Right there and then the rest of the world seemed so far away as the herm vixen stared into those captivating purple orbs. "Sheliah...you look so beautiful in that dress," she whispered before realising they were quickly becoming the centre of attention.

Pulling away, they were interrupted as a high voice cried out from behind them, "Sheliah? Oh Sheliah is that you?"

The wolf shaman's tail went rigid at the voice, "Sheliah, is she trouble?" Dusk said in a low growl.

"In a way, she is a bit of a busy body," she sighed before a heavy set of paws clamped down on her slender shoulders, causing her legs to buckle.

"Oh Sheliah, the rumours said you had been ill this last week. Hardly anyone has seen you around the village and even the traders couldn't get you. Come on turn around, lets get a good look at you."

Spinning the poor wolf around, Dusk whirled likewise around to see who was been such a nuisance. Facing her was a wall of fat and fur as a gaudy dressed hamster stood just a bit shorter than her but looked to weigh more than the pair of them combined. "Oh look at you, so thin and skinny. You must let me treat you at the Caux De Lacy to a few meals to get you a good weight."

"N-nice to see you Martha," Sheliah gasped as she was pulled into a huge hug, looking as though she would vanish between the folds of fat.

"And who is this young lady, is she your daughter perhaps?" she carried on in that high pitched voice as she rounded on Dusk as the vixen neatly dodged a similar smothering hug.

"No, not really. Which is a good thing because we wouldn't be lovers if we were related," Dusk said. She knew these kinds of people and honestly wanted nothing to do with them. Gossipers and rumour spreaders they were.

"What? N-never! Sheliah you need a strong, brawny lad to look after you and provide you with a few pups of your own. Not some slip of a girl. Why look at her she is even skinnier than you!"

"I assure you," Dusk interrupted her, "I am everything what Sheliah needs, and the same is mutual. We are the others half and would be lost without each other," the vixen said as she crossed her arms under her ample chest, her blue eyes glaring at the hamster as she did likewise back with her light brown eyes.

"Hmph, and what makes you think you know what's best for her? I have known her since that horrible step-father of hers and you have known her how long? A few days?" Martha said with a snort.

Dusk growled angrily as the hamster got up in her face before pushing her back with force that surprised the rodent, making her almost fall flat on her plump rear as the vixen's tail lashed in warning. Sheliah felt it was best to dissolve the situation before things got out of hand. "Martha I appreciate your concern for my well being but I am not a pup. I thank you for your friendship and caring over the years and I would hate to end it in such a way. Dusk means the world to me, and I have every right to who I choose. Good day," she said before hooking her arm with Dusk as she steered the still steaming vixen away, her ears pulled back.

"Who does she think she is to get between us? I was of a good mind to kick her hide," she snarled when they was in the centre of the village plaza.

"Dusk...you're going to have to learn to ignore people like that," Sheliah said as she ran her paws over her the vixens muzzle. "Nothing will come between us, I promise that," she said before leaning forward to kiss her on the muzzle.

Closing her eyes, Dusk leaned into the kiss, her arms wrapping around her shoulders as they both relished in the moment as the tension just seemed to melt away. A loud whoop and clapping from people had them quickly break apart.

Eyes flying wide they turned red under their furs as they saw a group of young males watching the show. "Heh erm, shall we get somewhere more private?" Dusk said awkwardly, receiving a nod from Sheliah before leading her into a fancy looking place.

Stepping through the double doors, Dusk had to take a moment to look about with her muzzle open. Soft piano music played over the speakers and the lay out although rather small was luxurious. The walls alternated between black and white colours with two large window panes at opposite ends. Exotic looking plants dotted around the place with chandeliers hanging above to rival Sheliah's own in her mansion. "Wow," Dusk breathed before her mate tugged her to a table next to a window.

"Dusk, is this your first time in a place like this? You look like a goldfish," Sheliah giggled before ducking a playful bat by the vixen before she stuck her tongue playfully out between her red muzzle.

The two ladies fell into quiet giggles as they sat down and stared lovingly at each other across the table, nothing but love for the other in their eyes. "Sheliah?" A young male voice said in surprise.

As the wolf turned to the voice she saw with a smile that it was Richard, "Richard? What are you doing here?" she said to the coyote, trying to keep her smile friendly and not mirthful when she thought of how Dusk had mercilessly teased the poor guy.

"Well, delivery doesn't pay that well so I'm taking up a side job to make ends meet. Never mind that though, where were you two? Dusk I haven't seen about for a while and Sheliah, people were starting to say you had become very ill. From the few glances people saw of you...they thought someone had died or something."

"And I take it the originator of those rumours stemmed from Martha" Dusk said dryly, which the young coyote looked sheepishly about. "If you care about my mate then do yourself and her a favour, try not to spread them from their source. People like that hamster are trouble for rumour spreading."

"Okay um th-thanks for the advice," he said before clearing his throat and asked what they would like to order. After they both placed their orders he bowed slightly and walked off before turning his head round and said quietly, looking as if steam was about to come out of his ears, "Y-you both look very beautiful today," he said before hurrying off with a small laugh coming from Sheliah.

"That Richard, always has been shy of expressing himself," she said as she caught her mates amused look. Reaching across the table she brought Dusk's paws into her own and held them tightly.

"Sheliah?" Dusk said in a concerned tone, "are you okay? You suddenly seem tense," she said before working a paw out of her grip and leaned over to stroke her muzzle with a delicate touch.

"Yes...no. I don't know," Sheliah said as she looked around the restaurant as though searching for something to help her. "Dusk...I need to tell you something. I don't know how you will take this but you need to know now."

As Sheliah tried to search for the words, a shady figure with a hood covering his features entered the building. "I'm sorry sir but there is a dress code here," a waiter said as he placed a hand on his shoulder. "I must ask you to leave right now, you are upsetting the customers."

"Don't worry," he said in a low voice, "I am just looking to see if the monster dish is on the menu. And it looks like it is."

"Sheliah, you are worrying me," Dusk said as her paw tightened on Sheliah's hand, her ears lowering in worry.

"I'm sorry my love, I know I'm dithering. I'll come right out with it. Dusk, I'm..."

A sudden cry of shock sounded behind them followed by a shout to look out just as Dusk pushed her mate over backwards on her chair. Her tail just cleared out of the way as she went under the table, ducking a hail of bullets aimed directly her way.

Customers started screaming in panic and fleeing as a muzzle grinned insanely under the hood as he held a Sub Machine Gun in his paw. "Come on out demon, it's no good hiding under a table!" He shrieked above the clamour. "Or better yet why not change huh? Let us all see what lies behind that pretty skin you wear!"

Dusk came shooting out from under the table and rammed him off his feet as she bared her teeth in a snarl of anger. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" She growled as she wrestled to loosen his grip around the gun.

He planted his knee in her stomach before flipping her over him with his foot before spraying a hail of bullets in her direction with Dusk using a metal tray to deflect the ones that would have hit her. "Did you think you killed all of us in that village? I knew the demon was around and when I heard a local celebrity around here had fallen madly in love with someone of the same markings I knew it to be the monster that killed my family."

He grabbed a sharp cutting knife from the table before leaping at her, using his foot to knock aside the tray and pin her with an arm over her neck. Choking, Dusk managed to get her first good look at her assassin. A lynx she gathered by his tufted ears and fawn coloured coat. "It...wasn't...me," Dusk choked out as she fought for breath whilst trying to keep that sharp blade away from her throat.

Suddenly he was rammed off of her as Sheliah gave a wolfs growl of anger, gripping his wrists tight in her paws. "Leave my mate alone you asshole!" She snarled before grunting as he kneed her in the stomach, keeling her over before throwing her aside.

"I see you have a poor woman in your control. I shall kill you and free the poor wretch from your grasp!" he cried maniacally out.

But just as he brought his gun to bare on Dusk, she threw the tray at his wrist, causing him to drop the gun and clutch at it with a curse before sirens could be heard in the distance. Cursing again, he staggered out of the door with Dusk in pursuit before a familiar voice howled in her head, nearly knocking her out with its force. DUSK YOUR MATE IS HURT! SHE CARRIES YOUR CUB AND NEEDS YOU!

*

As the sirens quietened at the cafe and various furs in uniform came rushing in, taking various notes from the scene and details from the staff and witnesses, Dusk and Sheliah became the focus of their attention since they were the apparent targets.

"Can't you see my mate is hurt?" Dusk growled at the men and women as she held Sheliah protectively to her side, wrapping her tail around her as though it would be a shield.

"We appreciate that miss, but we need as much information as possible," a Basset Hound said as he scribbled a pen over a tablet to make digital notes. "We have a dangerous person on the loose, and several saw him try to kill you with Sheliah just as an obstacle. Can you think of any enemies you have, anyone who would have probable cause to harm you?"

"No...he seemed to think I was some monster or something and thought I had brain washed my girlfriend. Please, if you can locate him take care of him as quick as possible. Now if you don't mind I need to call a cab down to the mansion," she said, pushing by him to get them out and away from the crowd.

As they made it clear to the curb of the path she turned to Shelaih, "Sheliah my love...are you okay?" Dusk said, her grip tight on her as though she would fall at any moment.

"Yes...I think it was nothing major," she said before catching her intense gaze. "Don't worry, it was just a knee to the stomach. I've received worse...oh no. What has Wolf told you?" Sheliah groaned with a paw over her eyes in annoyance.

"Sheliah...why didn't you tell me anything?" Dusk said in a low voice. "Did you know you were pregnant? Is that why you couldn't spirit walk?" Dusk bombarded her with questions, her anger creeping into her tone.

Before anything else happened a familiar sports car pulled up at the curb with Wolf at the wheel, looking as though he would burst out of the vehicle and tear Dusk apart. An anger filled look at them told them more than words to hurry as he wasn't in the mood to mess.

Just before climbing in, a high male voice cried from the restaurant doors before Richard came running towards them. "T-thank goodness you two are safe. I wanted to come sooner but was held up by the manager," he said before catching sight of the very dangerous looking wolf at the wheel. "Um sh-shall I call the cops again?" he stammered at the ominous aura from Wolf.

"No Richard...he's my guardian, of sorts," Sheliah said in way of a weak explanation before kissing the young coyote on side-muzzle and climbed into the car.

"Take care of yourself okay kid?" Dusk said to him, looking as though she were heading to her execution, climbing in with a weak wave to the youth.

Taking off, a heavy silence hung in the air like a weight before Wolf snarled from the wheel, "Dusk. You are supposed to protect your mate, not let them take the punishment."

"Okay; for one its not like I wanted Sheliah to get hurt. Hell I thought this insane business was behind now. Second..." she paused as Wolf began to growl intimidatingly, "and second you can stop that cos you don't scare me now. THIRD of all," she shouted above his anger, "I had no idea I was going to be a fucking father!"

At that, Wolf rounded his head, though his glare wasn't aimed at Dusk, but at his shaman. "Sheliah...you idiot. Why did you keep quiet about that?" he growled at her before Dusk actually slapped his muzzle round.

"Keep your damn eyes on the road okay? And if you are so angry feel free to duke it out with me cos someone needs to teach you manners."

Slamming the bakes on, he rounded on Dusk with his deadly muzzle full of teeth open only to have Dusk shove a sharp knife she had pinched from the restaurant at the roof of his mouth. "Go ahead, if you want to be reborn again," she snarled before Sheliah screamed.

"ENOUGH! STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!"

The pair looked at her before Wolf returned to the steering wheel still glowering. "Dusk...Wolf...I am the one who owes both of you an apology. I am sorry Dusk for keeping it from you, I was going to tell you at the restaurant but we got interrupted. I should have told you sooner."

"Sheliah...I know why you did it," Dusk said before wincing as she remembered events from their time on spirit mountain. "You got pregnant because I couldn't control myself and you had forgot to renew the runes. Look...becoming a father is something I thought I would never have to even think about so its...weird to me. But I will do my best for when the time comes hun," she said with a tender stroke over her mates muzzle before the smoke furred wolf grabbed her hand and held the paw to her face.

"All you have to do is be another mother to our pup, there is nothing wrong with you still been you my love," Sheliah said softly before turning to Wolf. "Wolf...I'm sorry I shut you out. I felt lost...like I had lost part of myself when Dusk left and didn't know how to deal with it. Talking only made it more acute...I was ungrateful."

"I know Sheliah...and I know you was hurting," he said from the drivers seat, seeming to deflate somewhat. "But Sheliah...I felt something...someone I knew from where you were attacked. I fear..." he trailed off before shaking his head as they pulled up in the mansion drive way. Locking the doors he turned round, his expression for once looking worried. "Sheliah...Dusk...I can't talk directly about this but...there was a new shaman who I took on a short time ago. He was a victim who had lost his home...he tried his best to hide all of himself from my senses but I was able to glimpse images of a village in flames and an intense anger. I also saw...something with wings. I tried to teach him the ways of healing, but he was a quick learner and soon started to learn how to channel my powers into seeking and sensing."

"So...your telling me you think this new shaman you took on could be a survivor from the village I...it destroyed?" Dusk said, quickly correcting herself.

"Maybe...possibly," Wolf said with his eyes downcast and sad.

"Wolf...what have you got yourself into?" Sheliah said before turning to Dusk. "Dusk...I'm afraid. The animal spirits aren't free willed like we are. Once they are bound to a shaman they must serve them until either the person relinquishes their contract or dies. Even if the animal takes a favourite if they are summoned they have little choice but to act on their behalf."

"Then it would be best," Dusk said in a grave tone, "that I keep some things hidden, even from Sheliah, until this is resolved."

Dusk climbed out before holding a paw out to help her mate out of the car. Kissing her mates hand, she went to the drivers window before opening the door and much to Wolf's surprise, bent down and hugged him tightly. "Be careful Wolf," she whispered into his ear.

Closing his eyes shut, he surrendered himself to her embrace, his ears pulling down slightly. "It may be too late for that..." he said before vanishing from the drivers seat.

*

Stepping into their home, Sheliah headed straight for the living room without even taking her shoes off, her scent radiating distress. Dusk stood their, the sun illuminating her form through the opaque glass door, making her black fur shine invitingly. But for all her looks Dusk felt she was a blight of misfortune on Sheliah. Since entering the wolf shamans life all she felt she had caused her was misfortune and suffering.

Taking her black shoes off she padded bare pawed into the living room, seeing her mate on a comfy recliner with her head in her hands, her light grey hair spilling over, Dusk clenched her fists in anger. She would do whatever it took to protect the one thing she loved in this life.

"Sheliah...?" Dusk said faltering as she raised her tear streaked face to her, freezing in place and unsure what to do.

The shaman suddenly threw herself onto the vixen tightly, burying her face into her chest and held her mate for all she was worth, whispering sorry over and over in her ear. "I'm sorry Dusk, I'm so sorry," she cried into her. "If I had never acted as the mystery client you never would have gotten mixed up in any of this. And now-and now your life is in danger again!" She cried, her short claws digging into her palms in frustration.

Tilting her head up, Dusk locked their muzzles in a surprise kiss before pulling away, her own blue eyes shining with tears. "Sheliah, please...don't say that. We never would have met, you'd still be alone and I'd still be lost if you hadn't." Dusk gripped her paws in her own tight, sharing her strength with the wolf. "We'll get through this, I promise you," she whispered gently before leaning in to nibble her neck.

Eventually, the wolf's sobs quietened before her sobs turned into a whine of need, "Dusk...you've become really strong in the short time I've known you," Sheliah moaned, leaning her head to one side, surrendering to her mates gentle play before she felt her paws slip up to undress.

"It is all because of you my love," Dusk whispered as she gently pulled her dress down around those delicate shoulders before over her large breasts to reveal her velvet purple bra. "All I am now is because of you, without you I would still be under that memory lock and leading the life of a whoring thief." Undoing the clasp she peeled it off before throwing it onto another chair and leaned in. "Whatever else we have to worry about, let us forget about them for now and enjoy each other's company," she said before sealing the large nipple in her muzzle.

"Ah!" Sheliah moaned out, the current problems melting away as she felt the wet warmth on her hard nub, shivering as she sucked and kissed before pulling off, leaving it wet before Dusk lapped around the areola, slowly working in to lick directly over the nipple as she melted away her troubles and concerns.

Switching to the other nipple, she gave it the same treatment before licking her way down her furred body, pulling the dress down as she went along to reveal more of her mate before her tongue buried into her stomach. Pulling up, her paw ran gently along, "Sheliah...are you okay there? After the blow, shouldn't we get you checked into a doctor?" She asked in concern for her.

"Dusk...it's okay. Been a shaman allows you to sense life energy. It is small but I can feel it, our pup is okay," she said, burying her fingers into Dusk's thick mane, trailing loving fingers slowly through her scalp.

"Well, that's a relief," Dusk sighed gratefully before her tongue gently lapped where the pup was growing, soothing the bruise that was sure to be developing under the pelt, rewarded by her mates soft moans and sighs of bliss. "Now," Dusk spoke again, her words turning deeper and huskier, "I've missed your scent for so long. Lets get these off so I can enjoy you better," with that said she gently pulled the dress around her ankles, revealing a pair of panties that matched her bra. Her large, fox nose flared as she drank in the potent scents of Sheliah, "You're even more alluring then I remember," Dusk purred before pulling the panties down, her broad, vulpine tongue lashing out to lap along the labia.

"Mh, I guess some things will never change Dusk," Sheliah moaned as her hands gripped at her ears, "I'm glad. I don't want it to just be lust but I do enjoy your touch," she said, her last word becoming a whimper as she felt her tongue teasingly drag across her slowly dampening pussy lips.

"Well I'm glad love, because I enjoy your taste too much to go without too long," Dusk purred, gently hooking a finger into her pussy and twisting her hand so she was rubbing the top area right where the clitoris was before leaning in. Running her tongue along the stretched lips she plunging forth into her depths, a gasp of pleasure followed by a spurt juices been her reward. Not letting up, Dusk increased her assault, adding a second finger in and rubbing faster as she leaned on a shaking knee for support, her mates rapid breathing and moans increasing with each breath, the vixen's tongue rampaging through her tunnel and tasting every bit of her.

"D-Dusk! I'm...c-cum-Ahhhhhh!" Sheliah cried loudly, her hands clenched tight on Dusk's ears as her legs wrapped around her head, pushing her lovers muzzle into her slightly. The feel of her muzzle opening up to drink and lap the waves of cum and that skilled, vixen tongue and hers only spurred the orgasam on. And the feeling wasn't one sided as she heard her moan inside of her pussy, vibrating her passage.

Dusk mumbled from within her mates snatch before resorting to smacking her leg. With a realisation of shock the smoky furred wolf realised she had lost track of time with her mate pleasuring her. "Oh crap, oh Dusk sorry!" She gasped as she came up with a gasp for air, her black furred muzzle drenched through with sexual juices.

"You know..." Dusk panted, "as pleasant a death it would be, dying with my muzzle inside you is Not on my bucket list."

"I'm sorry love, I didn't mean to...I just got that caught up with how good it felt," she blushed before pulling up to gently kiss her mate on the muzzle, giving a brief bit of tongue. "Wow...is that me? I taste more..."

"Tangy?" Dusk smiled in a soft tone, her breathlessness making her sound even huskier than usual. "And look, not a single drop on your recliner," she grinned before licking her own muzzle in playful hunger.

Pulling her onto her lap, Sheliah held her in a fierce embrace with Dusk's breasts resting on top of her mates', arms wrapping around each other in a fierce and loving embrace. "Hey," Dusk whispered into her ear, "I tell you what IS on my list, and you can help me if you are willing. After all..." she wriggled on her lap, her erection poking through the fabric, "I'm good and heated up now myself."

Dusk stood up, her mate's hand sliding down her arm as if reluctant to let go before she spun around to the back, and in one swift motion undressed herself showing she had nothing underneath. Sheliah's purple eyes went wide, "D-Dusk? You never?" she gasped, feeling her face fur heat right up at the thought.

"Well that dress, as nice as it is, was stifling enough without anything on underneath. Why, have you gone off how I look in the fur?" Dusk teased, her large tail wrapping around to cover her body, the red tip wriggling mischievously.

All she could do was smirk and shake her head, "I think I may lose trying to get you to behave like a woman," she said but her tone was more play than chastising.

"Well I'm technically part tod anyway now," Dusk said as she continued the playful banter. "Now about making it up to me," Dusk said before her grin extended into that famous grin her fox kind was known for before pulling on the recliner lever, pushing her back so the wolf was almost flat with a bit of an angle.

Straddling over her muzzle, Dusk looked down at her. "I know you pride yourself on been a lady, but all I've been thinking of since our time apart is how I want to show you the naughtier side of love making. I understand if you are not comfy with this but-YIP!" Dusk barked out as Sheliah reached out and pulled her within an inch of her muzzle piercing those lovely puffy lips, her large chest and red cock bouncing with the jolt.

"Dusk...you make me feel like a school girl again," Sheliah said as her canine nose twitched, breathing in deep the potent mixed scents of her lover before flicking her tongue out to trace lovingly around the wet labia, gathering the juices already there and swallowing it like she was tasting a delicacy. When next she talked her voice was deep, soft and sensual all at once, "I have missed you my love. All of you. You're body, your scent, your face, eyes, your playful nature, your love. I missed everything about you and though I want it to be about more than just sex, I also want it to be fun," Sheliah's last words were laden with lust before letting Dusk's body weight gently drop her pussy onto her muzzle, the girth of Sheliah's broader wolf muzzle stretching her out.

"Sh-Sheliah!" Dusk grunted, feeling her petals stretched to their limit in a mixture of pleasure and pain, the pain only amplifying the pleasure as she felt her tongue go to work, lapping all around at any flesh it could reach. "This is...new, and so hot," Dusk moaned as she leaned over her body, grabbing hold of a large breast each for leverage before riding her mates muzzle like a cock.

Deeper and deeper Dusk rode her as her passage loosened and adjusted, but they both knew Sheliah couldn't last long as eventually she would have to come back up for air herself. Her tongue lashed out, diving deep as her muzzle sunk in to its base before she felt her vixen pussy quiver. Using her hands to help lift her up off her muzzle Sheliah wrapped her muzzle over pussy, her tongue lashing at the clit before Dusk let out a long moan of relief. "H-holy hell!" Dusk cried out as she came hard, flooding her muzzle, Sheliah's nostrils flaring wide for air as she took gulp after gulp of her tangy feminine juices.

Dusk started to lift herself off, using the back of the recliner as leverage to take the weight off Sheliah when to her surprise she felt a pair of hands stop her. Looking down, she saw to her surprise a hunger she had not seen in the wolf. "Not yet my love," she panted heavily before taking her cock into her muzzle, licking the pre of the nine inch long member before suckling on the head, reaching up with a paw to massage the hidden furry sack.

The resulting stimulation had Dusk cumming only seconds after her female climax, gritting her teeth with a low growl escaping as she filled her mate's muzzle up with her seed. "Oh...oh my...fuck it has been a long while." the black and red vixen panted heavily, nearly falling forward but just catching herself before staggering back to lean against a wall. "Sheliah...what on earth got into you?"

Taking a moment, Sheliah managed to stand up on shaking legs with her bare chest heaving heavily before she licked the mixed juices off of her muzzle lips, relishing in the taste. "I think...I can blame the hormones my dear. But I just felt this hunger for you, I had to drain you dry." Sheliah stepped up to her before wrapping her arms around Dusk in another tight embrace. "The days I've missed you have been torture," she whispered in a breathy tone into her ear. "Though I tried to tell myself I didn't want it to be about sex...all I wanted was to ravage you my love."

"Well you certainly kn-know how to show a herm a good time," Dusk moaned, her knees shaking before wrapping her arms around her. The pair of women slid to the floor they, looking into each others eyes before making out like teens again.

Later that night, Dusk stood right before the large window of their bedroom, the moon shining through to illuminate the vixen who used the light to help her finish dressing as she quietly snapped the sleeve of the leotard in place. Threading a belt around her slim hips of the same colour, she checked the pouches and pulled out a kunai, the other holding a couple of pellet bombs she hoped she didn't have to use before pulling a short sheath from her bag. Gripping it tight in one paw, she pulled the ninjato from its sheath as she watched the moon light glint from the blue steel of the blade. "I wish I didn't have to use this...my mate, please forgive me for what I must do."

Dusk ran the conversation they had earlier that night in her head. "Dusk we're safe. I can project a field around us that dampens another shaman's ability to sense us."

"Sheliah we can't keep running and hiding. We need to halt this at its source. One day that maniac will just find us without this shaman sense...if he even is one. He could just be very resourceful. If we're to have a family we must safeguard our future."

"ENOUGH! I won't have you getting killed or so help me I will be right by you. I don't...I don't want to lose you Dusk."

"Okay Sheliah...I promise."

Ears flattening right to her skull, Dusk shook her head violently, her brimstone hair whipping around as she tried to clear her head for the task to come. She spared a last, lingering look at her mate; nothing but a thin sheet covering her form up as her hair spilled over to one side. She wanted to kiss that muzzle of hers one last time but knew it would do no good to wake her. Tears of frustration burning in her blue eyes, she dug claws into her pads before angrily wiping her eyes. "Wait for me my love," she whispered before quietly opening a window wide enough to slip out of into the night.

Under the sheets, Sheliah's grey fur darkened with silent tears.

Dusk slipped out of the village, heading to a corpse of trees she knew to be off in the distance, using her ninja teleport to jump distances, hopefully to throw her pursuer off if he indeed was using a shaman sense to track her down.

Reaching the cover, she slowed down before stopping dead centre in the trees where they opened up. She used what limited knowledge she had on been a shaman to try and extend her presence, making it easier for the lynx to find her though she assumed if he was that desperate he'd find her whatever she did.

She sat there cross legged on the floor, eyes closed as she tried to still her mind, ridding her of distraction. One thing she had remembered was a basic, fundamental rule of ninja fights; let down your guard and you let go of your life.

She wasn't kept waiting long as the cold, metal barrel of a gun was pressed against the back of her skull. "So you decided to come and die then huh?" that cool, insane voice said from behind her back.

"No," Dusk said in a calm and even voice as though she didn't have a gun about to blow her brains out, her tail wrapped calmly around her body. "I am giving you this last chance to walk away right now and start a new life for yourself. The monster is no more and"

"LIES!" He screeched before pulling the trigger, only to his surprise she vanished a second before the bullet killed her, looking something that resembled a chibi fox with the same markings. "Sorry, but toots is over there," it said in a squeaky, male tone.

"D-demon!" He cried, aiming at the small fox before a kunai hit the uzi out of his hand with a curse.

"No, just a ninja summon. It was something I was taught before leaving though he can be rather...vulgar," she said as she emerged from behind a tree, giving the little fox time to change into its copy version of Dusk again, grabbing the distracted lynx around his middle to hold him.

"Okay I have him, hurry and kill him!" the clone version of Dusk cried out.

Dusk stepped up to the struggling young man, reaching for her short blade before shaking her head. "No. I don't want to kill him if I can help it," she said before he gave an insane laugh.

"Oh yes! Yes, yes, you want to save me for your pleasures of torture no doubt," he shouted before elbowing the clone, causing her to wince and grab her side before returning to its small form in a puff of smoke.

"Way to go toots," he grumbled. "I'm out of here, clean up your own mess," he said before vanishing in another puff of smoke.

"Look, I am not after your life, I want to reason with you if I can. Back then yes I...was Used to kill all those people. But I was freed from the demons control and wish to atone"

"Silence you BEAST!" He screamed out, making to lunge at her with his claws bared before she easily evaded him. Staggering, he whirled about with his teeth baring at her in hate. "You wish to atone? Then atone in hell!" He snarled before crying out, "WOLF!"

Dusk's eyes went wide as someone very familiar appeared before her. Someone she hoped she would never have to face in a fight. "Wolf..." she trailed off, making to approach him with an arm outstretched.

"Stay Away!" Wolf growled at her. "Stupid girl, you should not have sought him out!"

"Why are you just standing there Wolf? How do you know her?" The lynx growled, "oh I know she is trying to control you, make you weak or turn on me. Wolf! Kill her!" he cried out. "As your shaman I order you to kill my enemy!"

"Wolf no! Fight it!" Dusk cried out, just rolling out of the way of a viscous lunge by Wolf before rolling and pulling her short katana out, the moon light causing the blade to glow an eerie blue.

"I can't Dusk! So long as the shaman I am bound to orders me and his life is in danger I have no free will! It is my mistake and I who must pay! Kill me!" He howled before rushing her, the tail end of her costume just getting caught and tearing to expose her red tipped tail.

"What gives? I thought you could only summon your related animal guardian?" Dusk said with a glare at Wolf, thinking she had been led astray.

"Ahhahahahah, shows what you know monster! I could have but can choose my guardian, seeing how Wolf was one of the most powerful of totem animals!" The lynx cackled before running for his uzi.

Dusk made a run for the deranged lynx before her path was suddenly blocked by Wolf, his hand shot around her throat to lift her off the ground with a surprised grunt.

"That's it Wolf, just hold her nice and still. I don't want to miss her wretched heart," he said in a low growl of anticipation.

"Wolf...no" Dusk choked as she struggled for air. "Think of Sheliah...it will kill her if you do this."

Wolf's grip didn't relax, but tears flowed down his face and into his fur as he was forced against his will to kill what he had sworn to protect.

All of a sudden a strong, female voice cracked through the air. "Wolf, stop right now!"

Wolf immediately dropped Dusk at the sound of Sheliah's voice, the vixen dropping on all fours as she gasped for air. Sheliah dashed to her side to help her stagger to her feet, "Dusk are you okay?" she said a little bit breathless from her run, having had to abandon the sports car a bit ago and ran.

"Sheliah? What are you doing here?" Dusk grunted, coughing before she was drawn into her arms.

"Idiot...you're not as sneaky as you think you are," Sheliah said before the click of a uzi drew their attention.

"Wolf, I order you to grab her!" The lynx growled, flexing his fingers on the trigger.

Wolf's hands twitched but he made no move as Sheliah seemed to keep a mental leash on him.

"Fine I shall just shoot you all!" He cried out, pulling the trigger to spray them all with bullets.

Wolf suddenly was free of his control, throwing himself in front of the girls, taking eight bullets to his body. "Dusk...now," he growled to her.

With a savage growl of her own Dusk nodded before speeding out from behind him and rushed the lynx with her katana drawn to the side.

He was already aiming again at her when she summoned her fox clone. "Jeeze is it always this hectic with you toots?" He said to her as they both zigzagged their way to him, keeping him guessing.

Dusk came right at the front, aiming to drive her blade right through him when he fired at nearly point blank range...only it was the clone and vanished in a puff as Dusk came soaring right overhead, the moon behind her, the blue blade in her paw gleaming as though alive in the moonlight before diving. Swooping down like a bird of prey, she sliced his neck clean through. The wretch clutched at the gash with a gurgling gasp before collapsing to the ground.

Shaking the blood off of the blade, she whirled around in alarm as she remembered Wolf taking all the bullets in his chest.

"Sheliah!" She cried out as she ran towards the collapsed bulk of Wolf, seeing her mate cradling his head in her lap.

"Sheliah...forgive me," Wolf whispered as he bled out from the numerous holes in his chest. "My wounds are too aggressive to heal...I will entrust to you...my spirit," he whispered before closing his deep, brown eyes for the final time.

"Oh Sheliah..." Dusk said softly, dropping her blade before kneeling down to wrap her arms around her shoulders, holding her close as the wolf shaman cried gently.

"It's okay...he's not dead really," she whispered. "Watch."

It started off faint, a gentle glow that gradually increased in strength as the giant form of Wolf slowly began to shrink in stature before his form was lost to the blinding light. Eventually what sat before them was a small, whimpering pup, blind and deaf to the world as it wriggled around.

"You see, the animal spirits don't really die," Sheliah whispered, picking the tiny bundle up in her arms to cradle. "So long as people believe, they will never fade, along with the balance they try to protect."

Dusk just stared in muted wonder at the pair, already Sheliah looked to be every bit the mother she was going to become. Craning her head round, she kissed her full on the muzzle, feeling her wolf mate grip tightly and reciprocate before she pulled away. "Is it finally over?" She whispered to her. "Am I truly free of the past now?"

Sheliah twisted partway to cup her muzzle, purple eyes meeting violet as their tails wrapped round each other in comfort. "Yes..." she said after a time. "We both are free now."

Epilogue: A year later...

They found out that the Lynx's name was Samuel and that his family had been one of Diablo's victims whilst Dusk was under possession. He had gone insane after seeing the carnage and losing it all and had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital but had escaped for revenge. They gave him a fitting send off with Dusk vowing to visit his grave marker once in a while, vowing she would put her skills to use to try and make the world a better place, if only for a few.

When Sheliah started showing true signs of pregnancy, word started going around as to who its father would be, with the fat hamster, Martha, been the epicentre of the rumour mill until Dusk had had enough.

They had arranged a gathering in her mansion for the grand unavailing of the pup's father, including some of the most notorious rumour spreaders before they announced Dusk was and she was a hermaphrodite. To say the least a lot were in shock with Martha laughing and trying to pass it off as her saving face until Dusk whipped her trousers and underwear off, showing everyone she was very real.

After the initial shock of seeing the beautiful vixen sporting both female and male genitals, most of them started clapping and anything Martha had to say was drowned out by the applause for the vixen's bravery and the couple having found true happiness.

Afterwards Dusk felt like she could walk freely around the village without having to hide secrets with more than the odd admirer both from the men and the women of the village.

Their pup was born a lovely little ginger ball of fluff, a normal female hybrid with a grey stripe running down her back with the tail tip coloured the same smoky grey. "What shall we call her?" Dusk said as she sat with her daughter now in her arms, looking adoringly from the new born to her mate.

"Well..." Sheliah said, sounding exhausted but happy, "I was thinking Dawn. She is our pup and the start of a new journey for us."

"Dawn huh?" Dusk said smiling before nuzzling its belly fondly, eliciting a gentle gurgle from her. "Yes, that fits her very well," she smiled, wrapping her tail around the three of them, holding each other and basking in the completeness of it all.

As for Wolf? Well they decided to take him on and protect him until the spirit had matured enough to remember all his memories and become strong enough to be a guardian once again. "Sheliah?" Wolf had said after greeting them all like an excited puppy, "when I'm strong enough I'd like to also mentor your pup. She's half wolf after all," he said proudly.

"I think that is for both of us to decide, after all Dusk is now a shaman initiate with Fox," she said before seeing his downcast expression. "You're a reborn spirit and have much to relearn, you'll always be my guardian though," Sheliah said before kissing him on the head, his tail giving a slight wag.

As if she had summoned her, Dusk walked through the door, her hair in a mess and dressed in a navy blue cop outfit bearing the logo of the village on in the form of a nest with birds roosting. "Welcome home dear," Sheliah smiled, embracing her before helping the vixen onto an old chair in the hallway. As she sat down with a sigh Sheliah gently helped to pull her boots off, smiling as her toes curled and flexed at the freedom of the confines, "How was your first day my love?"

Dusk had enlisted as a cop for the few in the village. Unsurprisingly for a medium sized village there wasn't much of a force. A small building served as their headquarters with only two other actual officers to share the work with, both been middle aged males.

"Well, it was exhausting to be honest," Dusk stated flatly. "There was so much paperwork involved and then so much watching the cameras. It was a mixture of tedium and chores," she said before sighing, her ears wilting part way.

"I'd rather you be bored and safe than out playing vigilante my love," the female wolf said before bending over and kissing her lips gently.

Before the job Dusk had buried her sword along with the body of the lynx, but she had insisted on keeping an eye on the village to keep Sheliah safe, until she was talked into taking a role as a policewoman. "Oh and one of them tried to grab my chest," Dusk stated, pointing to her breasts that looked as though they were straining to burst out of the fabric. "I soon taught him I wasn't going to put up with it, he'll be sore and probably sterile after the kick I gave him there," she said with a grin.

"I worry more for the co-workers and criminals with you on the case dear," Sheliah said half jokingly.

A small laugh came from Dusk before their pups crying sounded from their room. They both had agreed they would not let her sleep alone and so she slept with them. The crying quietened followed by the sounds of Wolf softly padding down the stairs, carrying her gently in his muzzle by the scruff. "She meeds feeding," he mumbled round her before Sheliah gently took her off of him.

Dusk went upstairs to dress into her causal attire before seeing the scene before her: Wolf laid by Sheliah's side like a faithful dog, her mate in her favourite recliner and their pup nursing at her swollen breast. She didn't know what she had done to deserve such good fortune, but the vixen vowed to do all she could to protect them.
