#11 of A tale of dragons

Okay people. You lot need to learn how to READ! TO CHARM A DRAGON is being discontinued, not a tale of dragons. Next time please read the headers properly before commenting on them.

WTF? I have almost twice as many people 'watching' me than the author of forest keep. Haven't any of you read forest keep? If you haven't, READ IT NOW! (And thanks to the twenty six people who like my stories enough to 'watch' me.)

Sorry for the late posting. I know I usually post a new story on Monday, but my mate was staying over for the weekend and he knows nothing of my 'scaly little addiction'.

Another thing, someone asked me about the new story I'm writing. It's not top secret, just no one's asked me about it, so I haven't bothered giving out details. That brings up another issue. If you e-mail me, make certain that your e-mail address is down correctly, because when I try to email you back and get a 'message send failed' that really pisses me off.

And finally, please vote and comment on the 'to charm a dragon compilation'. It is the first series I've completed, and also the very first story I posted, so it would mean a lot to me if ya' all could tell me what you think of the story as a whole.

A tale of dragon's part 11 (getting long isn't it)

Debri and Kershahk found Indeago in a very strange place.

He was eating in one of the many mess tents, the ones used by the soldiers, and he was even eating the same food as all of them.

Debri and Kershahk had been in there grabbing something to eat, because Debri had been able to hear Kershahk's stomach rumbling. Indeago had walked in with a giant platter heaped high with bread rolls, hot meat, and several other delicacies, and set it down on the bench where the food was served. Everyone had taken a single delicacy, whether it be a single piece of meat, or a still steaming bread-roll, or one of the daggers made entirely of spun sugar.

Then Indeago had grabbed a tray, and taken the same food as all of the other soldiers, sitting at a table with many other soldiers, and then started eating as if it were normal for the highest-ranking person in the camp to eat with the lowest ranking ones.

"He isss a good man." Kershahk commented.

"Yes, he is." Debri said. She was no longer growling, and her voice was very feminine voice that sounded as if it should have come from something with a much smaller frame.

Kershahk waited patiently for Indeago to finish his meal, finishing his own with slow, precise bites.

The raptor was unable to sit down, because of the physical proportions of his body, so he stood at the table, delicately nosing through his food with his bulbous snout, somehow very graceful in the way he ate. His tail flicked back and forth in an unconscious reflex movement that all raptors acquired when waiting patiently. Several soldiers behind the raptor ducked nonchalantly as his tail twitched over their head, never once stopping their conversation, as if it happened every day.

Indeago finished his meal, and Kershahk tossed his head back, neatly finishing his own.

Debri was surprised to find that the raptor ate bread and vegetables, seeing as a raptor was very obviously a predator.

Kershahk was standing besides Indeago so fast it seemed to be an optical illusion.

"May I speak to you?" He asked politely.

"Yes?" Indeago asked. It was obvious from his tone that he thought that whatever the question was, it could be said in front of those people already present.

"I wasss wondering, becaussse you ssseem to be a knowledgeable perssson, if you knew the location of any velocirrraptorrr clansss?

"Velociraptor?" Indeago asked cautiously, "I have heard of one." He said.

"Well?" Kershahk asked, tail twitching with impatience.

"They were all killed by the dark army." Indeago said, his hand resting gently on his staff, which was resting against the table. He was afraid that the raptor would attack in a rage.

Kershahk wheeled around and stalked out of the tent, Debri following him meekly, with a half-formed idea of seeing what he was going to do.

She found him standing stock still by a tent, staring out into the night. She had the sudden insane thought that it must be hard for raptors, because they couldn't sit down. She stifled the sudden giggle that threatened to escape her muzzle, knowing that it would not be good to make any sound of amusement at that point in time.

"That might not be your clan." She commented, as she sat besides him.

The raptor flopped down on his side in the dirt, silent tears coursing down his snout, the images of his loved ones flashing through his mind.

"We were the only clan left." He said, his voice steady, even though it shouldn't be.

"Oh." Debri said sadly, she made to put her arm around him, but then thought better of it as one of his very sharp claws scratched across the ground.

Kershahk placed his head in her lap, wanting comfort, which Debri gave unconsciously, wondering what was going on. She hadn't let vent to her emotions since she was a pup, and here she was, comforting a raptor, a creature completely different from herself, who she had known for only a few hours. But something about it made her feel good, creating a warm glow in her stomach which no amount of cold could chill.

"What exactly did you do to me?" Matimura asked calmly.

He had just learned that Kylara had cast a powerful spell on him that would irreversibly change him. She was lounging among her treasure, back to her dragonet form, with him sitting cross legged, staring at her.

"Well...I made a few improvements to your equipment." She said slyly, staring at him mischievously.

"What 'improvements'?" He asked.

"First, answer my questions, truthfully, because I can only reverse the spell within the next three hours. Do you love me?" She asked.

"Define love?" He asked dryly.

"I'll take that as a yes." She said. "Do you want to spend your life with me?" She asked.

"Why not?" He responded.

"Do you want children?" She asked.

That surprised him. "That's a physical impossibility." He said.

"No it's not, we can have eggs if you want." She responded.

"Not unless there is a very suicidal dragon out there. Because, if another dragon mated with you, then I'd have to kill them." He said truthfully, under the impression that they would have eggs by having a male dragon mate with her.

"Would you have dragonets with me if you could?" She asked seriously.

"Well, I've always imagined my children with skin, but I'm cool with scales." He responded.

"Good." She said, with a hiss of delight. "I changed your seed so that you are now able to impregnate dragons." She stated.

"Wow." Was all he could say. "I have a problem." He said.

"Yes?" She asked sweetly, thinking that she knew what it would be.

"Well, I'm not exactly going to live forever." He said calmly. "Our children will lose their father when they're still extremely young. I wouldn't put another persons children through that, and I won't do that to ours." He stated.

She purred with content.

"That's another thing." She said, as if she had forgotten about it completely. "I gave you half my vitality." She said. "And with dragon's living indefinitely, you get a life span of half of infinity." She said.

"So I'm immortal?" He asked weakly, glad he was sitting down, because his legs would not have supported him.

"Until you're killed by something obviously." She stated.

"Years of searching for the secret to eternal life, and all you've got to do is fuck a dragon." He said weakly.

"So, are you prepared to spend a lllloooonnnngggg time with me?" She asked, coking her head and staring at him intently.

"Well, I've got a long time to make up my mind, don't I?" He said, teasing her.

"Until I get sick of waiting and start scalping you." She said sweetly, dragging a single claw across the stone floor.

"I can't exactly say no when you put it like that, can I?" He said. "Let's go make some little dragons." He said, dragging her off towards the 'guest room'.

a tale of dragons part 12

A pure yiff chapter this time. I haven't written any yiff for a while, and the temptation to write a hot sex scene is just too powerful to overcome, so, enjoy. I'm thinking of starting up a whole new series of pure yiffiness, what colour do you lot...

a tale of dragons part 10 (getting there)

No more to charm a dragon. No more. \*Sad\* I've decided that chapter ten will be the last. But I may start putting chapters in the middle. Maybe. I think every one already knows who Brian is after the last chapter. But oh well. The clue was...

Draconis Combinus part 3

Goddamn it! Please excuse any mention of Hyran in this story series. I keep writing Hyran instead of Jyrtan for some insane reason. (Something like twenty times in chapter two.) I have thirteen people watching me. \*shivers\* Scary. Sounds like a...
