Furs: chapter one : The Only One
Okay this is my first one of the new series called Furs and it took me a while but it's done so hope you like it. Sorry for the delay. Love GFox.

All people seem to think is that they are the only animal to be evolving to a speaking and reading being but they are wrong. There was a time when a human was a human and a dog was a dog but this is not what it is like now. Every one reacted the same way to furs as they did other races centuries ago. It was that the new population of furs were discriminated and even some turned into slaves. There was always a negative feeling coming from humans against furs because they weren't the smartest race any more. So they made some into slave and other things. It is about 2070 and there is usually at least 1 fur slave in each house and the furs were more like equipment then creatures. Lodes of kids also had furs but they were more like company or some kids even made their furs do their homework for them.
One of the kids not to have a fur was a 16 year old boy called Dan he had always wanted one but his parents were fairly poor so they could never afford one. So when he got a temporary job he saved up to get one. There were lodes of uses for furs but Dan just really wanted a friend and someone to help him with his homework. Dan wasn't stupid but wasn't a super smart; he always said he knew what he needed to know but this didn't mean he could do all his homework on time. Dan was a tall 6 foot 2 and had the loveliest blond hair. He had never really been able to make friends and it showed he was usually alone and barely able to talk to people but the people he did talk to really liked him. He was a good friend and always helps people that were in need, even though most of the time he needed help but he never asked. He doesn't have some socialising problem he just can't talk to anyone, mostly boys.
The day he had been waiting for was now there he had the money to by a fur. He always wanted this day to come and he was exited that day and couldn't wait for the end of school. He watching the people going to their next lesson and he was just waiting for the next lesson because then it was the end of the day.
The bell rang and he got from his seat and then that is when his best friend Ben come to him and Ben put his hand around and said "so what you doing next"
Dan looked at him and then gave him a smile and said "well I'm finally getting a fur"
Ben then took his hand of Dan then he put his hand over the neck of the fur next to him that Dan didn't realise till now. This fur was fairly tall and it was completely brown and it was dog like. Ben said "well me and Alex are going to go home and play on my Xbox then how knows where it will take us" he said this with a loving tone as he kissed Alex on the cheek. (Alex isn't a normal name for a fur but it was the name he gave his fur when he brought him, he said that that he wanted his friend to have a real name. also Alex came on to Ben and Ben had already said he was gay since he was 14 and he's 15 now a year younger then Dan)
Then Ben and his fur left when he got to the school gate. The shop that sold furs was about a 5 minute walk from the school. So it wasn't a long time till he was at the window of the shop and he look at posters of wolf furs and lion furs. They all looked nice but they weren't what he wanted didn't. so to see the hole stock he went in. he then saw a desk with a woman on it. She was wearing a green dress and red glasses, they didn't go together. He looked at the room around him and saw lodes of accessories for furs there were collars and things like that. He walked up to the desk and this got the woman's attention and she looked up, she wasn't old but was decently in her 30s. Then she said, in a very plain voice "Is there anything you want."
Dan said, in an exited voice "yes I have come to buy a fur."
The woman looked at Dan with an expressed look on his face and said "really at your age, anyway come with me." She then started to move to a room in the back and Dan followed her.
They were now in a place that looked like a inside zoo and kind of smelt like one to but there were no cages or anything. Then the woman stopped at a computer in the wall and then she asked "do you have any idea on what type you want because we've got a great deal on a young tiger, about your age. There are also a few other types to. Just look up what you want on the computer."
She pointed at the computer they stopped at. He scrolled through the options, he then saw the Dalmatian icon and turned around and said "well I would like that type."
She looked at the Dalmatian then said "Are you sure this is the type you want. There is only one left and it's well behaved."
Dan summed up the good and bad in his head then using what he had made a dissition "yes, let me see it." He didn't know if it was male of female but he would soon.
The woman left and so Dan flicked trough the other types of furs. There were some nice white tigers and red foxes.
He heard something breaking in the room next-door the woman reappeared with a completely white dog like fur; the only white was on his right eye. The furs eye were hassle and it had a floppy eye. As soon as Dan saw this fur he knew this was the one. Dan walked up to the fur but then he stopped when the woman said "stop let him come to you."
Dan just stayed still and after a little the fur started to move over to Dan and when it reached him the fur started to sniff him. The fur looked face to face with Dan and then it got really close and rubbed up against Dan like a normal dog would do. He thought it might just be some instinct that had stayed with the fur but he like it the fur was soft.
The woman tried to get the dog of Dan so he could say if he wanted it. When she got the dog of Dan she tied it to a handle on the wall. She then turned to Dan and said "well that's the best response he's given. He has for the last 7 times got realy andry. I think he might like you. Well do you want him or not"
Dan looked at the fur and said "yes I think he will do fine."
"Good well you just sign the papers and give the money and your done and you can leave."
The woman took the fur and Dan to the front room and the desk. She took out 2 papers and gave Dan a pen and said "just sign here and read it and then give the money"
Dan signed on the line and read the terms then he gave in the money and then the woman and then she said "one last piece actually. What do you want to call him?"
Dan looked at the completely white fur and then said "well I think you will like angle."
The fur looked up when he said angle and gave Dan a smile though the muzzle and Dan knew he chose the right name. The woman then wrote the name down and the said "well were done. Do you what anything else maybe a collar?"
"No I'm good" said Dan and then took Angle out the door and started to walk him home.
