The numbers rapidly decreased and soon she was just down to a couple when an arch of lightning struck out and caught one of the beasts in mid-flight. It screamed loudly when it was fried and landed on the roof of a building, its body on fire with no movement. The help her Alpha gave didn't distract Bree, she had her eyes locked to the last hostile that was trying to circle around to her back. The fox twirled her lithe form whenever she let off from a building, keeping it at her front. The creature finally gave up and charged. She had waited for this to happen, for sometimes they were easy to predict.

Bree caught the hostile in an embrace, pinning its arms down to its side. The monster began to thrash hard against the Beta, her strength not great enough to hold forever against such a physical beast, but she didn't need a large expanse of time. A shockwave bounced around between her arms and in an instant the creature was crushed like a twig figure under a boulder. The body went limp in her grasp like a rag doll and was tossed away just as much so.

She landed down on the roof of a building and searched for her Alpha. He stood perched on a taller structure, gazing down at her like a guardian before he gave a nod of approval. The two stared at each other for a short while. During when Bree had caught the hostile up into the hold it managed to take a hold of the helmet lock on the side of her neck and busted it loose. There were also a series of new and rather deep claw gouges in her sides that almost went completely through her armor.

A roaring sound not far off and the sight of a massive flame shooting up into the air pulled their attention away. The blaze was high, like a controlled pillar of heat. The two didn't hesitate and went off for the direction to see what was happening.

Crystal held her wrists together and her palms foreword, a massive jet of fire stretching several feet in front of where she pointed like the exhaust from a fighter plane. Right at the tip of the flame two hostiles exploded into embers and were scattered. Snow was instantly turned into water and then steam, depending on how close it was to the fire.

"Crystal!" Blizzard growled and landed on the road just behind her.

The German shepherd pulled her paws apart and twirled to her Alpha, surprised.

"Control yourself," he said calmer now, nodding his head where some fires had started up on some nearby buildings.

Bree overlooked the area from over top of a building and brought her paw out to point at each small fire that ate at the sides of each building. One by one an invisible force snuffed them out, making smoldering ashes landing in the snow. Crystal watched the dancing flames as they each went out before she turned back to her Alpha and drooped her head.

"I'm sorry sir," her voice was soft and broken.

A tinge of regret crossed Blizzard's mind but he knew he had to be stern on her. She was the youngest Terveta warrior, still only seventeen years old but in the training ranks her abilities were unmatched and the Alpha could see her true potential. The blue husky gazed at her before he took a few bounding steps forward, clearing the distance between them. He pulled his unarmored paw up to the chin of her helmet and lifted it so he could stare into her eyes from their masks.

Blizzard was the leader of what was considered the strongest mercenary group of the Terveta, and he was always taken seriously no matter the situation, but one thing that he was rarely credited for was his methods of training and his understanding. He was one of the most deeply respected alphas in the Terveta history, and for good reason. They stood in silence for a while before thunderous and familiar sounds came to his ears.

"Vace!" he called out, not taking his eyes from Crystal's.

The lupine was clunking clumsily between buildings and stopped right when he heard his name called. He turned to where Blizzard stood and waited for what he was going to say. The husky turned to the Gamma and his muzzle pulled down into a hard frown. The two breastplates, the left calf protector, and half of his helmet had been ripped from the wolf's suit along with blood scattered across the busted up remains; he looked a bit sinister.

The husky quickly turned back to Bree and Crystal to give them the heads up to get back to work at extinguishing the remaining hostiles. The two females went off in different directions, leaving the canines alone for the moment.

"How many hostiles are left?" Blizzard growled walking up to the lupine.

"Let's celebrate, shall we?" she giggled and winked at him. Her paws went back and her fingers looped under the elastic of his shorts, starting to tug them down. Before she was able to do anything, his own paws came up and caught her by the wrists,...

It was then that the smell hit him hard. He lost his vision for a single moment and every joint in his body became weak. It was the heat already, and stronger then he remembered. The blue husky was halfway in the room, his feet not stopping through...

The two others exchanged a look and then stared at him with mocking expressions. "We should warn you, Blizzard. Keisha went into her heat about a day ago and she's been pretty crazy ever since. Never comes out of her room, or lets anyone in, except...
