Walk Away From the Sun
It was the morning but it was hard to tell with the clouds so thick above. I kissed Brandon as he ruffled my hair and flipped through the channels. "Alright Aiden, you have to practice with your powers, as I had to with mine when I became a vampire," I nodded.
"Alright, but if you don't mind me asking, how did you come to be a vampire?"
"Oh that's a story long ago, but simply I fell off a tower and was about to die, a vampire came along drank my blood, and when he was done, he realized I was still alive and took pity on me,"
"Hmm, whatever happened to the vampire who turned you?"
"Well...he was hunted down, and killed, sacrificing his life for mine," he said, the shadows of the past flashing across his eyes. I felt bad for bringing up old wounds. "Please, its okay, that was long ago, what matters is what happen now. Let's begin, it's probably best if you skip breakfast."
"Why?" I asked but at that point he had already picked me up, threw a jacked over me and leapt out the window. We moved swiftly through the roofs, towards the edge of the city, to park that was empty because of the winter time. He set me down, and it took me a second to get my balance from the whiplash of moving very rapidly. "I'm gonna have to get used to that,"
"Alright, ready yourself, we're going to start off simple, channel the void, and make it appear," I listened to his words and closed my eyes. I thought about the darkness, the empty spot, grabbing on to it and then I opened my eyes, but my hands were empty. "You have to do more than just think about it, you have to feel it,"
"Well how do you suppose I do that?" I asked frustrated that my focus was getting me nowhere.
"We're just going to have to do this like how you did it the first time," he said.
"Okay then," I said, wondering what he had in mind. Suddenly he was gone. No wait, there was a blur, and suddenly behind me. I turned but it was gone, then from the corner of my eye, a fist came and slammed right into the side of my head, making me slide across the snow covered ground.
"Get up," he said before he disappeared again. Something swept me off my feet before kicking me in the back, sliding into a pole. I cursed his speed, this was just out right unfair. I was angry and slammed my fist into the ground.
"This isn't very fair," I said, once again trying to channel the void.
"You think the people who are after me are going to be fair, we don't know what they have in their arsenal. I need to be able to count on you to be able to protect yourself, I'm not always going to be there," he said. I hated the thought of that, but he was right, as much as I would like, there would be times he couldn't be there. I told him that I would never let anyone take him from me, and I plan to keep my word on that.
I began to grit my teeth and told myself that I would no loose him. And like flames, my paws ignited, but only it was pitch black smoke that flickered like flames. I looked at my hands, and it felt like they were wet, I squeezed a paw, and I could feel that I was holding something. I tested it and threw whatever was in my palm towards Brandon. He vanished in an instant as the smoking ball flew a lot faster than I had intended. There was a small crater left behind, perfectly spherical. Everything occupying that space simply vanished. Instantly my paws returned to normal as I paled a bit. I was so worried that I had almost erased my boyfriend, but he thought it was a good time to pick me up and throw me fifty feet into the air. I watched as I fell down. The ground coming fast to meet me, I screamed and threw my hands up. I saw in that split second Brandon had came back to catch me, but instead a heavy column of smoke fell on top of him, and dissipated. I breathed hard my heart raced a mile a minute.
"Nice trick," he said. He picked me up and hugged me. I hugged him tight, after almost falling to my death. I could feel a strong sensation from Brandon as he held me. He was thirsty after the small workout, and my heart was pumping like there was no tomorrow. I nibbled on his ear and leaned my neck to the side. He growled and leaned in, but pulled back. "No I can't, not this time, I need more than just a sip. If I bit you know, I might drink more than you have to give. Moving fast like that on an empty stomach really burns my energy. I'll have to go for a bit, but meet me at your apartment, hopefully I won't be long."
I nodded, feeling his hunger. That too made me hungry. I kissed him and he took me back the café. I picked up a sandwich as I felt Brandon's link grow further away. It was nice to get out of the cold and into the warm coffee shop. I got some hot soup and a soda. As I ate, I wanted to check on Brandon. I closed my eyes, and in the stirring shadows I could see him, he walked into the hospital, and slipped into the blood storage. It was blurry because of how fast he was moving, but he was done in seconds as he emptied pack after pack, disposing them into the biohazard bin. He was satisfied and I heard his voice echo in my head, "I told you I was hungry," I smiled and finished my own meal. I could feel him heading back. I quickly threw away my trash and headed back to the apartment.
I waited for him, but something was wrong. He was near but his senses were erratic. I then I couldn't feel him at all, like something severed the connection. I began to panic, I closed my eyes, and I saw nothing but the usual darkness. I felt a cold draft, and noticed my window was opened. I saw something in the corner of my eye, move and I called out, "Brandon?" but there was no response.
Suddenly I was pinned against the wall with an iron grip, and I looked upon my attacker. It was huge tiger, with large fangs slightly protruding over his lips. He looked at me and tilted his head. "Why do you not bend to my will?" he asked. I didn't know what he was trying, but his grip continued to tighten, and I gasped for air as he slowly crushed my windpipe. I gripped his arms and kicked, but he wouldn't let go, soon I felt the darkness grow, but it wasn't unconscious, but my powers manifesting. Once more I became an incorporeal body of smoke and phased through his grasp, appearing behind him, coughing for air.
"What are you?" he said as he stepped back, looking me over.
"How about you tell me where Brandon is?" I spat at him.
"Ah, so master sent me to kill the dog's toy."
"I'm not a toy, and you will tell me where he is,"
"I don't need to tell a dead man anything," and he vanished again. I looked down and a large gash appeared across my chest. I cried out and fell to my knees as I felt the blood soak into my shirt. I hit the ground and spread out into smoke once more, in this form I felt fine. No pain, no cold or warmth, just floating smoke. I looked at him and watched him slash at me again, his claws going right through my body. I grabbed an arm as he went to try to rip me open. I took his arm, ripped it into the void, and watched him flail back as blood from the severed limb dripped everywhere.
"I said, you will tell me where he is," I said, my voice dark and hollow, echoing everywhere and raspy, like the wind trying to talk with sand as its vocal chords.
"What foul demon are you?!" he said as he made his way to an exit, my smoke wrapped around his legs and pulled him through the ground. His good arm caught on something solid before he could fall all the way through.
"Answer me!" I screamed. The large tiger held on, his claws ripping the ground as he slipped further in.
"Agh, he's, he's in the train yard outside of town, the unmarked cart on the west side, now let me go,"
"Did you hurt him?"
"What? No, I wasn't the one who took him down,"
"I don't care, you're going down now,"
"Please, just let me go," before he could get out another word, several hands made from what looked like black liquid came from the hole and pulled him down, he screamed as he fell endlessly. Eventually he would hit ground somewhere. In this new form, I flew out the window and headed to save my wolf.
(Somewhere inside a railroad cart)
"Brandon? Is that what you're going by now? I like to stay the way we kept things, Alistair, why did you run from us?"
"Don't you call me by that name," spat the bloodied wolf tied to bolted down chair by steel handles.
"Oh why the face, are you upset because I ripped off your blood connection with your new little fuck toy?"
"Leave him out of this, he's not meant for our world," he said, still trying to break his bonds. Eventually he watched the white wolf walk back and forth in front of him, twirling a silver dagger around his fingers.
"You're friend seems to have done something to Edward, now if he wasn't meant for our world, how could he have the means to fend off a vampire?"
"Don't you dare hurt him!" his jaw was quickly slapped by the hilt of the silver dagger, causing him to spit up a little blood.
"Oh just you wait, when they hear I've caught you, you're gonna pay for your crimes, I'm going to the top, and when I'm there, I think I'll personally hunt down Aiden was it? Oh you don't have to worry about him, I'll have plenty of time to do with you as I wish," and with that, he slid his shirt off and unbuckled his belt. He walked forward, and unlatched two of the rings that bound the vampire. He threw him forward over a wooden trunk, expertly slicing his pants off with his blade. "Yes, how does it feel to be helpless?"
"Drop the magic, and I'll show you who's helpless."
"Silence," the white wolf said, with a wave of his paw, one of the steel rings snaked around Brandon's muzzle and wound it shut.
"Now, time to relax a bit," he said as he gave the dark wolf a firm slap on his rump, watching the muscles jiggle slightly. "Mmm, such a nice ass," he said as he licked a finger and began to prod at vampire's hole. Brandon looked helplessly as he began to sink a digit in, wiggling it all the way in to the knuckle. The lantern that lit the cart shook a bit as the wind kicked up. Brandon could see the scar down his captor's left eye, where the eye was white. I looked away as he felt another finger join in. "Come on, you're used to this aren't you, bitch?"
Brandon did his best to ignore him, only thinking about Aiden, where ever he was, he hoped he was safe. He felt bad for dragging him into this, but he couldn't change the past. He grunted as the white wolf pulled his fingers out quickly, and began to slide his now hard cock between the bound wolf's cheeks. "Lighten up, know today is when you've been dominated by Whittaker Witchbane. A great honor that I didn't kill you like all the other creatures I've hunted," he boasted as he watched with eager eyes as his hot pride began to disappear into the warm hole. If Brandon wasn't muzzled, he'd be screaming about all the other hunters he's killed in the past. This guy was just lucky to have enchanted the blood at the hospital.
Gentle was every other word to describe how Whittaker began to take Brandon. Rough grunts and thrust as he went about this like business. Brandon continued to try to work on his bonds, but he was still too weak. He blushed as he felt his own cock grow hard and begin to stain his belly as it throbbed. The hunter took notice and gripped it roughly and began to pump it like he was trying to tear it off. Rough as it was, Brandon could help but feel his cock respond to his captor's motions. He let out a small whimper as he felt the knot begin to form at the entrance of his ass. He closed his eyes tight, as Whittaker stroked him faster. The white wolf continued to pound harder with each thrust, desperate to try to bury his knot in and claim the wolf. Brandon hung his head in shame as he felt his orgasm hit first, but at that moment he felt the pull of darkness over him.
It took me a while, but I finally round the train that tiger spoke of. Unmarked on the west end of the train yard, the cart rocked slightly from some commotion going on inside. I flew down like a hawk diving in on its prey as I ripped the door off into the void. My eyes glowed with rage at what I saw. There before me was the one I loved being raped. I felt my anger began to flow out like waves of heat. Everything around be became engulfed in the mist. Everything became black, and everything lost all sense, in touch with the real world. There was a light somewhere, and I cried at it. There was Whittaker, half naked and running away. I chased him the best I could, but he made it out the bounds of my grasp before I could rip him in half. I could hear him laugh at me, but I felt something else, someone called out my name. I appeared beside Brandon, lying across the wooden trunk. The shadows and mist fading away like dust, the rest back into me.
I was normal once more, and I felt tired. I was exhausted in every way possible and fell over next to him. The last thing I remembered was saying, "I'm sorry," over and over again. I was asleep, but I could feel Brandon once more. I could see him carrying me away, but we weren't going back to town, he headed away, somewhere far away. I slept and held on to him, as he held on to me.
That's it for this chapter, I'll start on the next one soon. Let me know what you think. Something doesn't make sense? leave a comment, and see if my answer doesn't confuse you more!
