Grown into the piece of a person that changes a life for the better
I've since thrown away the words that were too much to share in person, I've set fire to the letter
As I see a smile made for another, it leaves me with one for joy
At a point, you were understanding of something, but I was just a boy
Shivers remind me, the times were good for our part
I can't remember everyone, but I know some were good, some bad, all kept in thought & at heart
It reminds me of yesterday, though years have past
Was such a lovely, we were only thinking of forever, though it wasn't meant to last
Hold close to the lucky one by your side
Keep strong your will, make certain your dreams are never something to hide
And....when...if you think of me, I hope it's with a calm happy thought
You pass by my mind quite often, leaving warm smiles, you...I've never forgot
I never will....even if one of our times stands still...
