Inspired by listening to Abraham-Hicks, combined with some Greek and Norse creation myths, here is the Kataran account of creation.

Long ago, 36 beings sent their consciousness forth into this realm, giving rise to our universe. Later, they spawned more beings like them as the universe expanded.

When stars and planets formed, the beings took on physical forms to live upon them, in harmony with their other inhabitants.

In time, the beings found that living in physical form allowed them to more effectively experience contrast, and this helped them fine tune their desires.

The experience of physical form was new to the beings, and at first they forgot they were working on self improvement.

But one of the 36 remained with each cluster and, while in a physical form, remembered that she was supposed to be working on self improvement.

When she saw that they were ready, she taught her friends the true purpose of their physical lives: to experience contrast, fine tune their desires, and grow as beings in a unique way.

From that time on, beings in this universe have been experiencing contrast through a physical component, contributing mightily to the expansion of their non physical component, as well as to the development of All That Is.
